Staff was pleasant and welcoming! Room was clean and comfortable. Safe parking next to the main road. A little noisy from the main road but that was expected as the hotel was an older hotel so the windows didn't seal as well as a new built hotel. Breakfast was great, better than the two bigger chain hotels that we stayed at during our trip. Price and value was great compared to surrounding hotels. Good location, we would definitely stay again next time we visit the Port Angeles and Olympic NP Area.

Not much to complain about. If the windows were double or triple pane to eliminate the road noise, that would make it perfect or you could just request a room facing away from the main road.

The room was mostly clean. I dropped an item that rolled under the bed and when I reached in to get it I came out with lots of dust and hair on my hand and sleeve of my sweatshirt. The rest of the room was clean. The hot water is fast and amazingly hot. Water pressure is good as well. The door on the freezer section of the mini fridge was stuck so we couldn't use it. Everything else worked well. Pet area is good. Breeakfast was also good. There are restaurants in the area as well so we found easy options for dinner.

The hair and dust under the bed. I was told there were pet waste bags outside but I didn't see them (I had my own so no big deal). Needed to use the garbage can by the front door for the pet waste which is fine with me, but maybe not for other guests. We were in the room right outside the ice machine and pop machines. One of the pop machines is very noisy...we could hear it running quite often from inside the room. We could also hear people upstairs moving around.

For me, first impressions mean a lot, and our initial arrival and check-in experience was very positive; Monique was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. As we planned to stay 3 nights, we requested a room on the uppermost floor. Monique helped get our bags upstairs. Nice room with comfy bed and all the standard stuff ... plus a Keurig coffee maker. Fresh cookies in the lobby was a nice touch. Complimentary breakfast was above par. I'm a detail person, and their attention to such was noted and appreciated.

Maybe a little pricey, but certainly more reasonable than the national chain places in the area.

We travel with a “people lift “which we need for our disabled daughter and it has to fit under the bed so that we can get her on the bed for sleeping. This is one of the rare hotels which does not have the underside of the bed blocked by a board. Also they were ready to give us a rollaway bed if needed. 👍🏻😁The staff were very courteous and helpful. 😁The Inn was clean, and they had “no carpet floors” which helped a lot with our lift. The beds were very comfortable, the room was big enough to move around in, the breakfast was well stocked with delicious choices. I highly recommend The Ocean Star Inn.

I had nothing that I didn’t like.

It's better than we expected. Very close to restaurants, coffee shops and other central places. It's also not far from the Lake crescent (around 35min), Olympic game Farm (10-15min) and other attractions. We stayed in a two queen size bedroom. The room is big and comfortable. There's a small refrigerator, microwave, sofa and table with a chair. The complimentary morning coffee is awesome! They have fruits, pancakes, waffles, juice, milk (not only the "traditional" cow milk, butter, cream cheese, honey, some syrups, coffee etc. All is fresh and delicious!

There is nothing to complain about. Much better than most 3 stars we've seen sometimes.

Spacious room with everything one needs as such: bed was ok, fridge, TV, couch, table & chairs, some hangers for the clothes. Ample parking lots. Breakfast better than expected (bread, pastries, waffles, pancakes, yogurt , cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage) with attentive staff to keep things available.

Could use a bit of refreshing modernization here and there, thin walls. Breakfast room too small for overall capacity, can imagine how busy it gets in main season. Got a room on the side close to the main road in Sequim, so not the most quiet place.

It was fantastic to have a great breakfast every morning. The staff was INCREDIBLY attentive- which is saying something when the hotel was so busy for the Lavender Festival. They took care of everything from replenishing breakfast to providing extra towels to always having someone at the front desk to always having fresh cookies as we walked in the door.

I wish there were carpets beside the beds because the floor ended up feeling a little sandy.

English and Korean speaking staff. Great location to check out the Olympic Peninsula. Super close to Olympic Game Farm. We went to the Hoh Rainforest(2.5hrs ish away) , Hurricane ridge (.5hrs ish away) , and Sol duc(about 1.5hrs away).  I really enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast is great and I've never stayed before the renovations but it's very clean and the staff are so friendly. As soon as we walked in you could tell the place was clean. I really don't enjoy carpet because you can only get it so clean, so their floors not being carpet was a huge plus for me.  For breakfast they have a waffle maker, pancake maker, boiled eggs, muffins, fruit, and pastries along with juices milk and cereal. The pastries are awesome. You know the place is well taken care of cause the owner is there daily running things. Breakfast is from 6-10AM and they have a coin laundry on site. A HUGE plus if you're staying for a while or with children. AC works amazing and is very cold. I would stay here again!

Everything was great. I have no complaints. Would stay here again. The staff is amazing and everything is clean.

The hotel was very clean, including the inn room, restrooms, and breakfast room. The main owner of the property was super kind and very accommodating to our needs. He would always greet us going into the inn and out. He went above and beyond throughout our whole stay to insure we were doing ok.

There was only enough parking for the people staying at the inn, so sometimes it was a tight squeeze trying to park in a space.

The staff was Awesome! The man, Song, and young woman named Amanda (I believe) went above and beyond to ensure my 2 night stay was great. Their level of customer service and expertise was impressive. I would highly recommend staying there, and the room was very large.

I have a small dog and required a pet friendly room. The cleaning product used had a bit of a lingering odor, however I've encountered much worse! This was a very small issue compared to everything else this nice place had to offer. I would definitely stay there again.
