The location was picturesque and very quiet. The host was very welcoming and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. We had a lovely evening walk around the garden. So peaceful.Despite the hot weather we slept well in a comfortable four poster bed.Chocolate on the pillows and fresh flowers in the room made us feel very welcome, not to mention the offer of a glass of sherry from the room decanter. Our breakfast was superb and the best cooked breakfast we’ve ever had.Lovely porky sausages and a generous serving. We would definitely go back to stay and would recommend this B&B to others
This is out of the control of the B&B but the pub across the road where we’d hoped to eat in the evening closes on a Tuesday. We did however find a co op shop in a nearby town to buy something for dinner.

The hosts were very welcoming and attentive. There were lots of extra touches that didn't go unnoticed, such as chocolate on the pillow, tea making facilities with biscuits. Soaps and extras in the bathroom. The room was very warm and cosy, with a lovely view from the window. The bathroom was clean with a powerful shower. The bed was so comfortable with lovely soft linen provided. We loved the lanterns outside, as we arrived after dark. There is a beautiful area to sit, and the house has a wonderful feel as soon as you walk in. The breakfast is cooked to order, and a fantastic selection of cereal options too. Lots of choice and nothing was too much trouble. There is also a lovely country pub across the road for main meals which is very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend it and would book again.
Absolutely nothing. It was perfect. The only suggestion I'd have would be adding a hash brown to the already delectable breakfast!

The hotel was really nice and Chris and Sue made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough to make us welcome. I had the full English the first morning and struggled to finish it the hotel was amazing will definitely return.
If I have to be picky we both struggled with the shower being over the bath because both my wife and myself have mobility problems but we coped for the three nights we stayed and S ue told if we return we can have room4 which has a walk in shower but what a place to stay it is ideal

The wow factor when you arrive at Blaisdon house is only surpassed by when you walk in through the front door and then you get the wow wow factor, and this was surpassed by entering my room, Room 2, with the 4 poster bed, and then I got the wow wow wow factor. Where do I start....its stunning, Sue and Chris are fantastic hosts, its beautiful, it smells good, nice background music that's uplifting, its bright, its airy, its impeccably furnished, its colourful, its interesting and it feels like a home you'd just love to live in. And that's the magic that Sue and Chris have created, its feels like home. Beyond comfortable and relaxing, its perfection if there ever was perfection.
Having to leave...very sad to have to leave such a haven of peace, quiet and perfection and of course having a beautiful breakfast being cooked for me each morning.

The owners were friendly and very nice The place was so beautifully decorated and furnished to a high quality, spotless and homely, we have stayed in so called high end hotels in the past but Blaisdon house surpassed any of them ,5 * is not close to enough of a high rating for this establishment , would recommend a visit as u will not be disappointed and such value for money, the breakfast was amazing, well presented and prepared, everything fresh

Very welcoming and personable owners. The room and bathroom were spotless, and we didn't want for anything. There's a lovely little pub right opposite with good food and ale. Beautifully cooked breakfast, with a wide range of choice for all. A lovely location, very close to the Wye and Severn Valley Smokery, which is well worth a visit, especially if you like fish. We had a very enjoyable few days. We will be returning. Thank you.

A very lovely period home with a stunning sitting room, with a great selection of books and art. The garden is beautiful, full of flowers and pretty features. My room was lovely and bright, with very nice fabrics and wallpaper and with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely touches such as home made granola bars and chocolates.
With the windows open, the traffic noise was obvious in the morning.

We loved everything about the property. The amount of love and attention to detail is visible everywhere. The house is tastefully decorated throughout. There are so many beautiful pieces of objects and art to look at that I am dying to spend more time there. It was so lovely to have real plants in the room as well as fresh flowers, beautiful touch indeed. Breakfast was scrumptious. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on a lovely local sourdough bread. The scrambled eggs were beautifully cooked. We also got to sample the local red plum jam which was yummy. The owners were ever so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back there again.
Parking might get a bit challenging if they are fully booked.

Best ever breakfast served with a smile in elegant surroundings. Most comfortable bed and beautifully decorated room equipped with everything one might need. Lovely garden for outdoor relaxation. Peaceful location; a car is pretty much essential - part of the pleasure is driving round the lanes in the beautiful countryside. Our second visit and we will return.

The location is great, the house is lovely, the people are very friendly. There's lots to see in the area, but it's also a great place to just relax for a while. There's a great pub literally on the other side of the street.
