The room was clean and well decorated, with access direct to the car-park (albeit via stairs). The location was great for stretching my legs after the drive, as the Inn is set on the edge of a village green in an area with interesting architecture. I ate in the evening and really enjoyed the meal.

The room had its own fridge. This sounded like a plus-point when I booked, but it fridge made sufficient noise that I had to resort to using ear-plugs to get to sleep (thankfully they are a standard item in my travel bag). When I checked in it was not made clear to me that checking out was not quite standard, which left me wondering what to do with nobody obvious to ask.

The accommodation was very clean throughout and I had a great nights sleep on a fantastic bed with soft pillows. Bathroom was great with combo bath and shower. Plenty of hot water. Kitchenette was well equiped. I can't remember seeing a toaster and so just used the grill. Food from the Resturant was very nice, with both a Menu and Chef's Specials. I'd definately visit the Bell Inn again...

In the bedroom, it's either curtains open or curtains closed and lights on. With such a tall window it might be that a low net curtain or curtain across the lower sash window so you're able to move around the bedroom in daylight without closing the curtains.

The bed was comfy and the bedroom was cool in the heat. The kitchen/sitting room was excellent, appliances easy to use and chairs were comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the pub was delicious. I especially loved the cold bottles of water in the fridge (so welcome after walking miles in the heat). There is a lovely shop next to the hotel, it didn't show up in Google maps but be rest assured if you're not driving like me and you can't bring groceries, the shop is excellent.

The only thing is that I found both the shower and the bathroom floor to be slippy when wet. There was a towel mat for the floor but nothing for the shower. Im steady on my feet and I felt a bit worried, so I would recommend a non-slip mat for the shower.

Exceedigly comfortable room and very well presented. Food in the restaurant was very good, portions were large (probably too much for those that had been driving all day) and the staff were all very pleasant. The room had all that was needed to make our own breakafast and the shop next door had good provisions. The view from the window over village green was lovely and obviously enjoyed by the locals. A very enjoyable stay in all aspects. Thank you.

Not a lot.

I was with my partner, but am responding for myself. I liked the simplicity and spaciousness of the accommodation. I liked the fact that everything needed was in place and the instructions simply presented, with no "faff". It was good that the plumbing and heating in such an old building were inobtrusive and very efficient. I liked the fact that - even when busy - there was no citified obvious rush and pressure: everything occurred at a decent pace, even relaxed. The rooms were very clean. The staff were natural rather than obsequious. A very well-run establishment with good but unobtrusive security.

Would have liked not to be internally 'locked in' until 9am! I have vertigo and arthritis, so found the fire-escape a bit dodgy. But I understand the need for security. As paying overnight guests, we would have liked the bar to remain open later than some nights.

Stay here quite frequently and the room is ideal for us, excellent kitchenette. Special mention for the cleaner who always has the room spotless. good pub food but restraunt is very popular so consider booking.

The Wifi does need to be improved in the rooms for television App use as it not good enough as it is. I have mentioned this before but nothing changes, it does need to as it is an important aspect of our stay here.

The room was cool, comfortable with full amenities. The room was easy to access after hours due to arrive after 1am after wedding party. Will definitely recommend and would stay again

No breakfast but understand No security light at side of hotel when accessing outside stairs... the bit with the seating... need phone torch but that could have something to do with the drink hahaha

Stayed here before and it suits our needs. The rooms are spacious (except the small room that we have not stayed in), the booking.com description does not do the place justice! Accommodation is well presented with the rooms we have stayed in having a well equipped kitchenette. Location is perfect for us and some good local walks and central to thing we like to do during a short break, a short walk gets you to a well stocked local store for groceries, etc. The restaurant is excellent and a friendly bar to relax to finish the day. All in all a great short stay experience that we will definitely use again.

Other than room facilities there are no options for breakfast

Great location. Frampton-on-Severn is a lovely village, and it's only about 15 minutes from WWT Slimbridge. Nice food in the pub downstairs.

Shame that breakfast wasn't available during our stay. Loud conversations from pub-goers took place right under our window.

Friendly staff. Location. Cleanliness of the room. Kitchen really good with everything one needs. Milk, orange juice, tea coffee and water provided on arrival.

Kitchen extraction outside the windows - noisy and smelly on most of the day until 9:30pm. No hairdryer. Only seating was a bed settee which was uncomfortable. The 2 arm chairs shown in the photos were not there. Only coffee table to eat from despite a kitchen being supplied. 2 tall bar stools were surplus to requirements as you cannot sit at the work surface. The breakfast bar shown in photos has been made inoperable as an oven has been put under. The bed was a little lumpy but clean. Lighting very poor. Only one lamp at bedside with low power lighting. Unable to read anywhere in the rooms as lighting poor. Bathroom shabby but clean. Very noisy floor boards throughout the suite. (No creeping about at night!)
