Everything was great. Beautiful location, very welcoming staff. We spent 3 nights in a junior suite, which is on the Black Parrot side of the resort. It’s an adults only side, with a quiet pool and plenty of Sun loungers and seating in a covered area with fans. The room was just beautiful, we were in room 502 which had a beautiful balcony, perfectly situated to watch the sunset in private every evening. The wooden fittings / doors etc are slightly dated, but it didn’t take from the luxury of the place at all.

Nothing really - except we love to snorkel and found out that the best side of the island to snorkel on changes every 6 months - at the moment, this side has rougher seas and sea grass, visibility was effectively zero, we couldn’t even see our hands in front of our faces! but Anse Lazio on the other side of the island was fantastic for snorkelling, and although it was booked out before we got there, the resort does offer a free shuttle bus there 3 times a week.

We visited on our honeymoon and had a wonderful stay. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and we felt like they really went out of their way to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. We also loved the food at the hotel, particularly the breakfasts, and also the complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits offered every afternoon which we thought was a lovely touch. The sunsets from the pontoon are also fantastic! At the time we visited (in early September) this part of the island was very windy and unfortunately it was not possible to use the hotel's beach or swim in the ocean, however I imagine this would be lovely at other times of year. I would also recommend hiring a car if possible, because there is not much within walking distance of the hotel - however many places are just an easy drive away. Stunning property, beautiful facilities, some really lovely helpful staff! Coco de Mer absolutely lived up to our expectations! Food quality was also very good. Services were well done, fantastic massage. Also really enjoyed the excursions, especially to Anse Lazio and the nature hike! Overall I highly recommend this hotel!

It's tough to get around Praslin without renting a car, something we were wont to avoid, as we don't drive on the right hand side. Taxis are also kind of expensive. Thus it would be nice to offer some more excursion trips, maybe to a few beaches. I also think a pickup at the ferry upon arrival and departure would have been nice to have, as some hotels do offer this service. Checkout time is very early at 10am. Most hotels allow until 12pm.

This was our second time at Coco de Mer, and we'll definitely be back next time we come to the Seychelles! Most of the staff were the friendliest people we met in all of Seychelles during our 3,5 week stay. They went above and beyond to help (especially Harry!!), and were always happy and smiling, polite and kind. They were so attentive to our 11 month old baby as well, and he loved all the attention! Our room was great, the premises were great. Unfortunately we had pretty terrible weather, and there were a LOT of seaweeds on the beach and in the ocean, however this is not exactly something the hotel can control - just our bad luck.

The room cleaning could have been a little better. For example, it didn't seem like any surfaces were cleaned or wiped off during our 5-night stay. To be fair, it definitely wasn't terrible - but could be a little better too.

We must also commend your entire staff for their constant smiles and willingness to accommodate our every request. Such exemplary service is truly commendable, and we couldn't have asked for more. I really liked the location, beach facilities, design, the room and breakfast. SPA is scenic and luxurious. Food was very nice although if you could add some smoked fish for breakfast it will be even better. Lunch is fantastic, dinner buffet is a bit worse.

I asked for the blanket but they never brought me one (maybe they just don’t have it but they could say that instead of ignoring). Also we asked for the early breakfast, they promised it will be in our fridge before 9pm but brought it after 10pm and woke us up. That was sad. But overall impression of the hotel, staff and room is still positive, I believe they did their best. What upset me the most is that there is no master switch off the lights and when you go out you need to turn off all the lights one by one. And conditioner too. So when you forget the electricity don’t stop running and that’s not good for Seyshelles ecology. I hope you would manage to do something to improve that and stop wasting nature resources.

Hotel is really nice and offers a variety of excellent services. Rooms are specious and very well equipped. Food was excellent, there was a good variety, great taste and new things every day. Deserts were the cherry on the cake. Hotel offers many extra activities free of charge. If you spending time there do not miss the hike tour, fantastic. All staff was very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The staff helped us and organised for us other great tours which fitted our needs and requirements perfectly. If we return we would definitely stay again. As mentioned before the whole team of people made our stay and holidays special.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel for my husband’s 60th birthday trip. The staff are all wonderful. We had a lovely bedroom suite with a beautiful view of the sea and palm trees so tranquil. The air con was excellent. The bathroom was so nice and spotlessly clean. We had a nice outside area with comfortable soda and chairs perfect for just relaxing. We booked bed & breakfast basis but when there we had the pleasure of meeting Ahmed on our first evening and he very kindly helped us with options on having half board which we took up and so pleased we did. The food was very good the choices every night were brilliant. We loved the food traditional creole food as well as Mediterranean, Asian so much choice. The facilities were great we used the little gym a few times. We did a day trip which Ahmed kindly arranged for us to visit La Digue a fantastic day trip loved every minute. We also did the nature trip which was arranged by the hotel with the wonderful guide Daniel he was so knowledgeable and we learnt so much on this hike. Thank you Daniel. The bar was great right next to the swimming pool the lunchtime menu was varied and good food. The staff were so lovely Joe was so helpful and equally Anura & Aden were so attentive to us. We had a fun time being in their company. Two wonderful waitresses Natasha & Collette were both so good. All the staff are a credit to this beautiful hotel. We had such a great holiday and hope to come back and visit you again one day. Thank you Dawn & Steve 🇸🇨

That we had to leave !

The breakfast was good. Slightly different each day. The dinner was very good. Lots of options. The fish was very tasty. The staff very friendly and always asking what you want. Room was very big and nice view. Powerful air conditioning. Free tea/coffee between 4 and 5. Free water activities like SUP and kayak. Free library and gym.

The beach is not very good for snorkeling. Currency exchange is not the best at the reception. The infinity pool in the middle, is nice to stay on and see the sunset. But from a bit further away, it doesn't look so pretty and you're wondering how it was built there. I recommend having a car instead of taxi in order to reach Anse Lazio, airport/port. If you travel more than 3 days (so 6 trips in total) you already have almost one week of rental price. (This is not hotel's problem. It's just a remark)

Stunning decor, pool, Sun deck. The rooms are amazing very comfortable and well decorated. The attention to detail is perfect and the hotel manager is on top of his game.

The restaurant food was pricey and not excellent, the waiter was rude at dinner and told us to hurry up they want to close. And basically kicked us out.
