- room looked very nice, clean and well lit - complimentary minibar (cookies, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, ice tea, cola, sprite) - bathroom items - shower AND bathtub - how the building was re-done from an old colonial building (keeping the structure, but adapting it to the modern days and necessities) - there is a mini-pool & outside lounge area

- outside view/neighbourhood (constructions sites) - both room keys were not working (demagnetized?!) in just a few hours - very weird (and no, were not kept near a phone :D ) - nespresso machine not working :(

The hotel is located 7-8 mins walking from Lavender station. Next to the hotel is a small bar so you can chill at night. I asked for 30 mins late out and they agreed which is a big plus. The staffs also friendly. Room is small but for tourist like me go out most of the time wont be a problem. cleaning service serves everyday . You’ll need to pay deposit 100 SGD when check in.

Can hear outside sounds pretty clear. Like people talking or housekeeping cleaning. Near hotel having construction site so around 7-8am will be pretty noisy.

Overall, this was a comfortable stay. I booked this accommodation on very short notice due to sudden changes in my schedule, but was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness of the hotel. Room was not big (which was to be expected, granted its price point), but it had everything I needed and the layout was intuitive. I also appreciated the little perks such as local snacks at the lobby, postcards detailing how to speak "singlish", and posters explaining the hotel's heritage (it's a restored colonial building)! While I didn't indulge in any of the snacks, I imagine that this would be quite a unique stay for tourists.

Room felt slightly different from the pictures — there weren't any blue cushions, which wasn't a major issue but it did somewhat take away from the original vibe I expected. I kept my curtains closed most of the time because the location of the hotel was slightly dodgy (near bars), and we were on a lower floor facing another building so passers by would have been able to see into our room otherwise. Towels were also a little worn out, but generally everything was clean.

It was compact yet had everything needed. I loved the way my room was done up.

Wish there was a hair conditioner to use after shampooing. The shower area floor got slippery while shampooing, needs shower mat. Wish they had some basic over the counter emergency meds, such as (Panadol & Nurofen) for pain or fever, or (Imodium)for diarrhea, available if needed by the customer under real emergency, as first aide. I am sure the customer would willingly pay for it than go out looking for it. I desperately needed some pain medicine and wasn’t able to go out to buy some, had to spend the entire night in severe pain.

This is a fine, but mainly unremarkable place to stay. Staff is fine. Location is fine. Facilities are fine. I guess the free minibar thing is cute, but I didn't really use it anyway. Be aware that the room is very, extremely small, but its reasonably priced in Singapore, so I think that's to be expected. There is a laundromat a 5 min walk away, which was very helpful (and shoutout to the desk staff who suggested it, as its way cheaper than using the in house service).

No real negatives. Bed is a little firm. Soundproofing could be a little better. All in all I was pretty happy with it.

Location was good esp for veg indian travellers as its closer to many indian restaurants. Rooms were clean. they also did provide early checkin. Free wifi was good. if you are looking for rooms with balcony go for the suite rooms, Even the non balcony rooms had windows that you can slide open. I liked the ease of entering and exiting the hotel as it was small 3-4 storied building unlike the 20 floor hotels which take up time to just exit & catch a taxi/MRT. Its 10 mins walk to the nearest lavender MRT.

There are no door locks to the bathroom in suite rooms :)

This hotel room was one of the biggest I have stayed in in Singapore so that was a nice change. I also really enjoyed the location as well as the small pool- even though this was small, it was a perfect place to unwind after a day of walking. As well as this, the location was very convenient indeed and close to many cafes, restaurants and Arab Street. Finally, a word for the staff- they were very helpful and allowed me to check in early as well as helping to print an important document for me. Thank you for your help during this stay.

The room unfortunately smelled of smoke when I arrived. Over time and with the air conditioning on this improved and I didn't feel like I needed to change rooms. The biggest issue was the outside noise- the windows are not the thickest so you can hear a lot of building noise during the day and some traffic during the evening. The road outside isn't a main road so it might not affect your stay but I recommend bringing some ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise.

The family suite is excellent and super good condition. The location is great. Staff are friendly but professional. They provide all the necessary information eg travel sim , convenience store, local traditional food, taxi information and also contribute the travel the list of attractions in the city. The nostalgia is that some traditional tiny ice biscuits are available for kids. The suite makes me feel like home after a long business trip in India and family medical care.

I loved everything about the hotel (very clean, discreet and calming, quiet, A/C everywhere), the services provided (especially for the cleaning one and the mini bar resupplied every day during my staying - I really appreciated it every time I got back to my room from the city and found it clean + the mini bar and its bottles of water resupplied), the staff that was always smiling and welcoming or the directions given when I arrived late at night about what was still open (the SherShiang convenience store) or how to get around the city (bus or train) :-) I'd recommend the Hotel NuVe Urbane to the people I know back home that would like to experiment staying in Singapore some days :-)

It was a bit far from the nearest MRT station (Farrer Park, if I'm not mistaken). But it has nothing to do with what the hotel provides. Anyway, it was 5 min away from the closest bus stop (Lavender).

Comfortable location, short walking distance from metro line from the airport, and also from districts with bars/restaurants. Clean and modern room, tea/coffee set available in the room. Single room very small - in the pictures looks much more spacious

No place to put your luggage in the room, so the suitcase had to be kept on the floor; small closet is available, but no hangers provided so cannot be really used. Very this walls/doors - you can hear absolutely everything happening in the corridor (including 7 am vacuuming cleaning)
