The hotel is located perfectly close to the lake. We had a very nice view from the room. Staff was super nice and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Spent Christmas eve running after and killing bugs in our room. Size of keychain was huge, it was a bit challenging to open the door.

Location is amazing. Great that there is a parking space on the back yard. Nice breakfasts. And very friendly staff.

Lot's of little things in the apartments are very uncomfortable. No electric socket next to the bed - it was somewhere under the bed, where i needed to crawl. Toilet flush button was broken and often stuck and I moved the cover aside to fix it. The shower was leaking- the sound of falling water drops is pretty irritating at night.

The location was perfect with breathtaking views. What’s not to love about a waterfront hotel? It’s also very nice to be able to walk around the lake from here as well as hike up to the castle (you can also drive, if you wish). The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Parking was a nice bonus. If you’re looking for an authentic Slovenian meal, go to Gostilna Kurej, in the countryside a short drive away. Very tasty food and excellent service!

The room was much smaller than we were lead to believe. We realize rooms are smaller in Europe, but this one was the smallest we had come across. We travel with carry on luggage only - and we barely had room for them. The chair and desk were so close to the bed that you could not pull the chair out. Not enough plugs for devices and the hairdryer didn’t work. I guess you’re paying for the location. Those are minor complaints compared to the smell in the hallway. It was awful and very strong. At first, we wondered if it was some kind of cleaning product, but soon realized it was the essential oil diffuser on the entry table. It was too strong for anyone with a sensitivity to scents. It made my eyes water and gave me a headache. Something to be aware of if you are sensitive or allergic.

The location is wonderful and the breakfasts are great. The shower was really lovely and powerful!

Small room and we were a little uncomfortable with the number of insects/bugs in the room.

We arrived four hours early and asked if we could park in the car park. We were told not only could we park in the car park, our room was ready so we could check in and we had been upgraded to a beautiful room with an amazing view. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and polite. The food was exceptional and I think the staff could read my mind. If I needed another drink they asked before I did. This wasn't my first visit to Bled or Slovenia, but it was one of the best thanks to this hotel. Thanks to all of the staff, you guys are the best in the world.

I could only stay for two nights as I had to go back to work.

Right in the center of Bled with a great restaurant, the lake is literally 3 steps away from the apartment. The breakfast is table served and you can choose from apx. 7 type, but the quality is over the top. Parking is comfortable. The staff is so nice and attentive.

The time is coming for another renovation in case of the rooms. Carpet floor is not the best option in an apartment, and the lack of electric socket made charging 2 phones and using the kettle at the same time impossible. Sometimes the sewer smell came up in the bathroom. The walls are so thin that you hear when your neighbours upstairs turning around in their bed.

I loved the location. It was right on the lake with a lovely restaurant patio. It is on the edge of town that is very park like and therefore, I think, seems less touristy. It is an old villa and feels like a B&B, verses a normal hotel. Breakfast was very nice and served on the patio. You could order anything off their menu which was a very pleasant change from usual buffet fare. There is parking right out front for a few cars which is very convenient. Probably a good idea to reserve parking when you make your reservation. We were very happy that we had chosen Pension Vila Preseren!

The location is perfect, directly near the lake and castle is over the hill with a perfect view from hotel. Restaurant is nice, food delicious and staff very kind

The rooms could be cleaned a little bit beter. Too many insects in the room.
