The hotel is situated within a short walk from the main train station as well as from the Ljubljana historic centre, it's well connected by public transport with the rest of the city. The staff is helpful and professional. The room is well equipped, clean and pleasant. The breakfasts are very good. The communication with the hotel was easy and efficient. I would highly recommend it for both business travel and leisure trips.

There are recycling facilities outside, I had a bad luck of being there on the morning there was a collection, it was early and it was loud. This is not the hotel's fault though.

The best part was the staff. So friendly and helpful. On Sunday many restaurants are closed, but they volunteered to pick up any take-out that we wanted so we could eat in the breakfast room. (We went and got it ourselves!) Our last morning we had to leave very early before breakfast, so the night before they made us a travel picnic. The location is perfect, a quiet area with a short walk to the beautiful river area.

First impressions count! Fix the terrible, beat-up tile in the small lobby area. The rest of the hotel seemed well maintained; why have your small lobby look like a dump? Daily cleaning was only OK..failed to empty trash baskets or remove dirty glasses.

There are many things I like about this hotel and highly recommended. Breakfast: Many different choices. For example, four different ways of working eggs. Different warm dishes to select and different fresh fruits. Location: Great location and walking distance to all the attractions Room: A lot of spaces and very clean. Bathroom: a good size too. The basic needed are all met: nice space for shower, hairdryer, and one-time slippers. Stuff: they are all super nice and helpful

Parking is 8 mins walking distance, not nearby the hotel because the hotel is located in the city, but you will get a parking deduction from the hotel price when you check out.

Location was perfect we were never more than 5-10 minutes walk from any of the main attractions. Tivoli park was practically on the doorstep. 1 minute walk and we were sitting on the roof terrace of the Skyscraper with a cocktail. The pick up points for our trips were very central too. So I Loved it. All areas of the hotel were clean, very modern, bed and pillows amazing. For me the staff were incredible and made this hotel so personal. Breakfast boxes were offered on our day trips out, I asked so many questions and not one member of staff made me feel like a pain. They always had time and were so very cheerful & happy. Thank you to you all for making us feel so welcome in your country.

Nothing I did not like

We had such a wonderful time at Urban Hotel! Our room was beautiful, modern and really clean. The beds and the pillows were comfy and, for a light sleeper like me, being able to make the room completely dark at night with shades and curtains is a huge plus. The staff (especially Sara at the front desk) was so lovely and helpful. We had to leave the hotel quite early for our flight back home so we missed the breakfast but they prepared sandwiches, fruits, biscuits and drinks we got to take with us - so grateful for that. The actual breakfast we got to enjoy at the hotel during our stay was sufficient and delicious. The location was perfect - everything was within a walking distance.

All in all, it was one of our best hotel experiences ever. Nothing to complain, we'll definitely be back!

Breakfast is great, location is in city centre, easy to walk to all the places and easy to drive out of the town as well.

The street rubbish collecting vehicle making noise in every early morning because there are several rubbish bins just outside of the hotel front door. There is free night time street parking ( 19:00~07:00)nearby, after 7am it will cost 1.3euro/h Monday to Saturday, which I think the hotel staff should recommend it first to people. If you need to park your car for 24hrs without moving it , then it seems more worth it to choose the parking faraway for 15 euro.

Perfect location, well organised and delicious breakfast.

Cheaper rooms look out to an rough looking building, with a lot of air conditioner boxes that buzz constantly during the night. Some wierd design choices, but I’ll allow that’s just my personal taste.

We chose a Standard twin room with 2 separate beds, with a private bathroom and a balcony. The beds were not separated upon arrival in the room, but the staff had no problem with us separating them. They even offered to prepare our room to our specifications while we were in town. I haven't seen such a rich breakfast buffet in a long time. Everyone will surely choose from it. In addition, the hotel also offered a hot breakfast, eggs in any way, which they brought to your table. I fell in love with the scrambled eggs with grilled vegetables on the first day, so it accompanied me for the rest of the holiday. And if you didn't eat properly for breakfast, all day until 10:00 p.m. you could always find a bun or croissant to munch on with coffee, tea or chocolate in the dining room. I found my favorite hotel in Ljubljana.

We stayed for four nights and had an excellent experience. The staff were extremely polite and accommodating, the breakfast was amazing, so much choice! The snack corner where you can access free refreshments such as biscuits, croissants, tea and coffee etc all day long was a really lovely touch. The room was very spacious with a lovely view across the park. The standard of cleanliness within the room and the entire hotel premises was very high. The hotel is very well located, central but situated in a quiet, peaceful setting. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We required a two night stay at a hotel convenient for the railway station. Not only was the hotel reasonably located for that, but the cleanliness and comfort could not be faulted. Staff were helpful and pleasant, one recommending an excellent and busy nearby restaurant. Breakfast was very good, though one has to know that hot food is available and ask for it [provision of a breakfast menu would assist]. The hotel was very busy, our stay coinciding with Easter Sunday and Monday, but this in no way impaired the quality of accommodation nor the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. We would happily stay there again.

Nothing about the hotel, though regrettably the nearby restaurant was fully booked on the Monday.
