The location of the hotel, breakfast, and the room were amazing. The quality of the linen bed, and the mattress was beyond my expectations. Honestly, I was not expecting such a good breakfast. Truly awesome. I had a problem with my door-locking device and the staff fixed immediately. Shout out to Robert for ordering a sandwich for me at the checkout, because I had to leave before the breakfast hour. Amazing staff indeed.

I consider that the acoustic insulation from the room I've stayed in (5th floor) was pretty bad. You could hear people's conversation on the upper floor. Fortunately, people respected the quiet hours, but still, this is something that should be addressed considering how much you're paying.

We arrived by car and easily accessed the car park, having pre booked our parking space. The room was large, clean, full of light, well air conditioned and very comfortable. It is located very close to the city centre. The buffet breakfast, which is included in the price, has a good choice and includes dietary requirements. We were allowed flexibility to take our breakfast in the breakfast area or on the terrace. On the terrace the options are limited, however, one can choose items from the main breakfast area and take up the relative plate etc to the terrace. The Staff were very friendly, helpful and prompt. We needed an ironing board and iron and they brought them to our room immediately.

I like the location. Convenient for the main three bridges area and the rail and bus station. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is of a high standard. It is the self service set up which is common but they do it very well. The lobby bar staff wereì particularly attentive and worked very hard indeed. It was my third stay at the hotel which says it all really.so

I think they could improve their evening snack meal menu although most of it is pleasant one or two dishes were ghastly. But one would normally eat out and I happened to stay when there were two or three very wet nights and couldn't face going out.

The location of the hotel is a few steps away from Ljublana's old town, making it perfect for exploring the city's main attractions such as Ljublana's castle and the city's vibrant Old Town. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained. The room we had wasn't particularly spacious, however it was more than adequate for a city stay. The staff at City Hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet featured a diverse selection of fresh local and international dishes. The onsite bar also serves a decent snack menu and a good selection of drinks. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Ljubljana.

It is in a perfect place located very close to the city center. The staff and the breakfast is fantastic. Everything is clean and neat. The parking is also a plus.

I'm very satisfied with the hotel because the two minuses are something that building related and cannot be upgraded easily, but it's worth mentioning. It was probably a fantastic dream hotel a few years ago, unfortunately the building and the interior didn't age well. The -2 floor parking is something of an adventure, only use it if you don't have to run to a meeting. It takes 10-15 minutes minimum to park inside the elevator and to park out. Plus out of the 3 elevators only one goes to -2 if you wanna get your car in the morning, better take the stairs.

Hotel offer underground parking and you can reserve a place. Not cheap but very convenient. We enjoy a design and room standard. Hotel breakfast was pretty nice (with one exception that you can read in negative section of my feedback) variety of meal has been available. Next very positive thing is the localisation of the hotel, just at the border of old Town. In general we enjoy our short stay.

Unfortunately there was one matter that was not nice at all in the Hotel. This is a big hotel with a lot of guests. Unbelievable but during breakfast there was working just 1 coffee machine (like in small pension). So there was a long-long queue! When I ask they say that other machine is out of order and due to holiday they cannot fix it. However in such Hotel there shall be like 5 coffee machines, so if 1 or 2 will be out of order no problem ..... (that is why I score hotel for 8, otherwise score will be better) PS. parking lots are not so large, so do not expect easy parking if you have big car ;)

The location was excellent, next to the main sightseeings and the bus station from/to the airport and lake bled. The breakfast was enormous and the staff very friendly

Location is the best not far from bus station and just a short walk to all attractions in city old town. We came back from Lake Bled and stayed here again for the second time. This time we got smaller room but enough space for us. The hospitality and professional services were still outstanding and we recommend anyone to stay here if you come to Ljubljana.

No air conditioning (only centrally set up by hotel) or fan that worked (we tried to follow the instructions that clearly tell us how to set up the fan). We had to open the windows to let the cooler and fresher air in otherwise it was no circulation in room. Outside air was cooler that help us slept comfortably. We booked twins bed and we got 2 beds that next to each other with no space in between. We found this a lot in Europe when we booked twins,

Location was very nice, breakfast was exceptional good, and overall rating for this hotel is high from us. Even though we liked the Hisa Pod Gradom a little better, we would not hesitate to stay at the City Hotel again. The secure parking garage across the street was a nice perk too. You can easily walk to the main plaza area is to indulge in all of the wonderful bars and restaurants, Triple Bridge, boat rides, etc. Don't forget to stay in Ljubljana on a Friday so that you can attend the fantastic farmer's market and local eatery's booths setup. Great food aplenty!!

Can't think of a thing that we disliked. We would certainly stay here again while visiting Ljubljana. Just make sure that you stay in Ljubljana on a Friday to take in the weekly food market event.

We traveled with a couple of friends, and all of us got a free room update. Room was very spacious (as was the bathroom), it appeared to be quite freshly renovated(or just well maintained). There also was complimentary bottle of water. Great location not far away from the main train station (less than 10 minutes on foot) and from the old town (less than 5 minutes on foot). Great variety of dishes for breakfast, including some exotic choices like Russian salad.

Questionable hardness of bed and pillow (and its size), but that's a really personal thing. Maybe not the most convincing value for money. A bit crowded breakfast room (which is partially solved by the terrace, where one can find a few things to eat without going downstairs to the main buffet). But overall, our stay was very nice, and we will definitely recommend it to everyone and consider the property again should we be back to Ljubljana.
