My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Camps Bay Retreat forest pods, and we can't stop raving about our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the attentive staff. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was exceptional. First and foremost, we have to commend the staff for their outstanding service during breakfast and dinner. The meals were not only delicious but served with genuine care and attention to detail. No request was too much trouble, and we felt incredibly well looked after throughout our dining experiences. A special shoutout goes to Sizwe, whose impeccable service made our meals even more memorable. Moreover, we were impressed by the tranquil beauty of the grounds. It provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. We found ourselves immersed in nature's serenity, which was exactly what we needed after a long flight. The proximity to shops and restaurants along the Camps Bay beachfront was another highlight. We enjoyed exploring the area and witnessing the breathtaking sunsets—a true treat for the senses. And let's not forget about the on-site spa! It was a haven of relaxation, and we indulged in some well-deserved pampering after our journey. Lastly, we want to extend our gratitude to Damian and Simon for their warm hospitality and ensuring that our every need was met throughout our stay. The staff working in the reception and restaurant is very nice and welcoming. The place is very beautiful and it exceed my expectations. The Garden, the view, the pools, the room, the paddle play ground ... They have different prices , and they care for attention. Recommended

It was very windy and we couldn't enjoy the beach. The showers didn't have much water

The room I was given was not a Forest Pod but a room in the Retreat main property. The room was nice and closer to pools and Retreat restaurant but less private. I was disappointed that I didn't get what the pictures looked like but it ended up being fine. Positives to the room that the Pod wouldn't have had.

Beautiful accommodation, love the fact that we could go for forest walks/trails on the property, and get to the beach easy the views are amazing.

The container room did get hot during the day and needs a aircon, the fan did not do the job to cool it down. The blender was broken at the restaurant so most of the drinks menu for cocktails amd milkshakes could not be made, and the tiramisu dessert we order was not good at all was mostly just whipped cream than a actual tiramisu my wife was disappointed as that is he favorite dessert.

The buitengewoont hot tub situated at the lovely mountain pool. The forest swing and the bridge. The tranquility of the forest. The restaurant and the spectacular food with such well-mannered staff. Overall, we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

The staff was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. The views & the property are super diverse and beautiful - and the food was exceptional (dinner & breakfast)! We only stayed for one night but would definitely have loved to extend it! Can recommend it 100%! ☺️

we stayed in a pod inside the property: everything was excellent, I think they should just specify better the difference between the pods (economic) and the alternatives in the property (much more expensive)

Great location

As we were staying in the pods I don't think we were treated as proper guests. The waiter for breakfast wasn't overly polite. We also had to ask for water for the room on numerous occasions.

The Scones & Tea were a lovely inclusion. Such lovely Forrest walks and close access to Camps Bay Beach. So nice to have drinks included in the fridge and water was provided regularly. Warm and friendly staff

The place is amazing. It seems the classical house we are use to see in the movies. A lot of swimming pools, hot tubs, garden to walk by. The beach is 2 minutes away. I was super impressed by the place.
