The breakfast was excellent, with the widest choice I have seen anywhere. Lots of fruit, deli foods, cheese, patisserie, eggs cooked to your liking, bacon and non halal stuff on separate counter. Could have been more choice of teas, and better fruit juices. The infrastructure of the hotel is very impressive. The rooms are well designed and spacious with adequate storage The staff throughout were friendly. The receptionist who greeted us was outstanding, a management trainee, I believe. The equipment in the gym was top class and abundant.

The catering facilities are lacking. Whilst breakfast is great in the Cucina,, the only dinner options are the Sports bar, which is noisy, with music, or getting a shuttle down to the clubhouse at the golf club. You can get room service food, but i dont want to eat where i sleep.The food there is excellent and reasonably priced, but I don't like trekking a couple of miles from my hotel to the dining room. The hotel is showing signs of wear and I don't think the maintenance budget is big enough.

Staff were very friendly and helpful Breakfast was excellent. Options included omelette on request, fruit salad, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, dried fruit and nuts, muffins, scones, danish, waffles, pancakes, different breads, juice, coffee, tea, and more... Location was great for a break away from the hustle and bustle without feeling secluded. Just a short drive away from the beautiful beach at Herold's Bay. The fresh ocean breeze, the sound of birds chirping, no noise pollution at all that I can remember. The bathtub and shower were awesome. Usually I miss my shower when I leave home but this was a great shower.

The jacuzzi/splash pool in the spa was filthy. I cannot overstate how dirty it was. There was a thick layer of a sand-like substance along the floor of it. The rim was brown with dirt. The walls were covered in mould and limescale up to the ceiling. The aircon wasn't working in our room. We just left the door open but that's not always ideal.

I actually paid for seaview and received garden view, i was too tired to go downstairs so I just accepted it however my heart is not at peace about it. The shuttle driver was speeding, when asked to slow down he said I am overreacting and stuck to speeding

We had been there for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly the awesome breakfast. Overall, it was a good experience, but one drawback is its distance from the centre, requiring us to travel a considerable distance to purchase necessities.

We stayed at the accommodation for almost ten days. However, when I requested an extension for an additional two days, I was informed that it was not available. Consequently, we had to proceed with checking out. Given our extended stay, it would have been appreciated if we could have been given priority consideration,

The property is undergoing some refurbishment. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. The staff in the hotel were all friendly and helpful. Food in the clubhouse at lunchtime was very good.

The only on site restaurant open at night was Herolds which was not very good. It was expensive for what it was and the food was very average. We ate there the first night but went into George for dinner the second night. Booking golf before we got there was difficult to say the least. The golf shop phones don’t work during loadshedding and the email address on their website doesn’t exist. Apparently it has changed but no-one has had the sense to update it on the website. In the end I got the hotel reception whose phones do work during loadshedding to arrange it for me. Frustrating.

The room was spacious and clean. The views are absolutely amazing. We received exceptional service from the shuttle driver, who also gave us guidance on the hiking trail. The hiking trail is a must, and the views are spectacular.

The rooms air conditioner was not working, however, the manager notified us in time and also reimbursed us for the inconvenience. There were not sufficient signs on the hiking trail. I would suggest adding signs as it becomes stressful with no direction to guide you. Especially where one enters the estate. The beach is not within walking distance.

The place is stunning 😍 ✨️ The view is unbelievable. The place is extremely clean , just simply stunning. The staff are extremely friendly and very supportive . The manager, Arbie Petersen, is very friendly and helpful.

I liked everything. In fact, I loved it. The place is stunning 😍 ✨️ The view and the food are exceptional. I would definitely be back. The manager that was on duty Arboe Petersen is such a wonderful person with a beautiful soul. All the staff were extremely sweet . We wished we could have stayed for a few more days. The rate they charge is much cheaper considering the beauty of the facility.

How professional the operations manager, Tumelo, was in handling our situation. Our room had a door that would not lock from the outside and would only lock from the inside. We only found out on the night of our check-in, when we were going to go to the only restaurant at the hotel for dinner. After informing reception, the maintenance technician appeared at our room within minutes but unfortunately after almost an hour, he was unable to fix the problem. The only solution after asking to speak to the operations manager, Tumelo, was to move rooms. Tumelo was calm, understanding and apologetic. He listened to our grievances and in the end, we were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade we received - we moved into the penthouse suite.

Although the upgrade was lovely and not what we expected, the air-conditioning was not working. Some general maintenance and upkeep of the exterior of the building is in need.

The room was beautiful, as seen in pictures. The staff, while checking in and out, was helpful, and the process swift. Good WiFi, which worked during loadshedding. Big bathtub, great for a couple. Don't forget to pack your bath bombs and salts :).

The TV did not have DSTV and was not a smart TV. The AC was not working, the first night was really cold. However, the hotel staff did bring us a heater and offered to take us to a different room with working AC on our last night. There weren't options to choose from for the included breakfast, and the food was not the best. The staff at breakfast and at the restaurant were slow in responding to our orders.

The rooms are stunning! It was extremely comfortable and spacious. It has a very spacious glass-enclosed Bathroom and Shower. You have lots of space in this room available to you. Our breakfast experience was also very pleasant. A wide variety of foods to choose from. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

There are minor upgrades that need to be made in the rooms, but I am sure that will form part of their routine maintenance plans. It did not have an impact on our stay.
