Our Hermanus bed and breakfast is a beautiful outstanding place to stay. I have written over 2,000 reviews for TripAdvisor and can honestly say that this bed and breakfast is the most beautiful, exceptional, outstanding place my wife and I have ever enjoyed. I cannot praise the place too highly! Located within a few minutes walk of Hermanus town centre on a quiet road the house looks unassuming from the outside. (Easy free parking on the street) but inside the place is wonderful in every aspect. My pictures show just how beautiful the internal and external decor is. There is a relatively large swimming pool but instead of having sun loungers there are sofas to lie upon! The lounge area is a beautiful library, the dining area is light and airy, and the breakfasts were simply outstanding. My wife would recommend the fruit platter, personally I succumbed to the excellent pancakes! Our bedroom had a huge king size double bed with comfortable pillows. There was good wardrobe space, excellent wi-fi, a flat screen TV, a fridge, tea and coffee facilities together with biscuits and nibbles, an outside garden area private to our room and an inside patio also private to our room. The bathroom had a shower wash basin and toilet. Leigh also provided a laundry service to us for just a few pound sterling.at The style of the room was beautiful. The owner, Leigh, used to be an interior designer – and it shows. As if all this wasn't enough Leigh provides free chilled white wine during the afternoon as you lounge around the pool and together with her amazing assistant, Steven, provides for all your needs. We felt that we were sharing her house and yet it was free and easy! I don't normally write reviews which are so gushing, but this place absolutely deserves it. We paid £292 for a three night stay and my advice to anybody reading this review is to book early to avoid any disappointment.

Nothing!

This is a quite stunning property and one we would rush back to stay in again. It is like a little oasis in the centre of town. Leigh, our host was so friendly and helpful, as too were her staff - nothing was too much. Wonderful pool area with gardens and a patio and so secluded from the hustle and bustle just a few yards away on the streets of Hermanus. The rooms in the property have so many incredible artefacts, paintings and bits and bobs. To sum up in one word - WOW!

Absolutely nothing. It was a perfect 3 day stay

4 bedroom boutique B& B owned & very well run by Leigh supported by Stephen & Webster. The property is very well furnished and decorated with a superb swimming pool. Nice touches were the superb breakfasts, complimentary early evening wine & laundry service. Dined at The Rock by the New Harbour which was superb and La Pentola and Chard nearby were good too. Visited Kleinmond Beach with a nice lunch place called Sandown Blues.

What a stunningly beautiful place! From the gorgeously designed, and comfortable, interior, to the beautiful garden and pool area outside, this place definitely has the wow factor! We were made to feel so welcome and were truly spoilt, particularly by the absolutely delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, just a short stroll into town and the seafront. Thank you so much to Leigh and Steven who made our visit to Hermanus so memorable.

Absolutely superb property , beautifully decorated, exquisite furnishings, Leigh has a very good eye fir every thing right down to the sink plug , our room amazing with the biggest bed I have ever seen , we can not fault our stay here we have felt really at home and nothing has been too much trouble from leigh and her staff , we will definitely be back.

Couldn’t fault a thing.

We loved absolutely everything. A peaceful haven just a very short stroll from the town centre. Fantastic room, spotlessly clean, really comfortable, huge bed, lovely shower and bathroom. Lots of really nice touches which made our stay super comfortable. Fabulous breakfast. Very welcoming owner and staff. Exceptional. Would have liked to stay longer.

There was nothing not to like.

The breakfast was a work of art - starting with a bowl of about 15 varieties of fruit. followed by a choice of smoothies/fruit juice and 5 varieties of cooked breakfast. The rooms and general environment was stunning. Staff very friendly and attentive.

The decor was very artistic but some might think it rather cluttered.

Clean, friendly, very well equipped and lots of interesting artefacts. Very laid back, lots of different spaces to relax in and beautiful pool area. Very central with easy access to shops, restaurants and the cliff top walk. Great breakfast.

It all worked very well for us. Tall people might find the bed we had short, but it is very wide!

We loved everything from the atmosphere, the breakfast , the host was absolutely amazing and so welcoming, we loved every minute of our stay , it was the most comfortable and warm place to stay. The staff were absolutely exceptional! We can't stop raving about this place and so many of our friends and family saw pictures and asked us where it was. I recommend beyond 10/10. It was really the best stay ever, will definitely be back.

We loved everything!

The property was exceptional in all respects; spacious, quiet and beautifully decorated with art works. Check-in with Stephen was wonderfully smooth and Leigh was a joy to meet. Our room was huge with a lovely en suite bathroom and a Juliette balcony looking over the garden area. Outside there was lots of space to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
