It was clean comfortable and the location was great. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

The night included breakfast the next morning and the place and food was lovely but when something says breakfast is included, you think its all included in the cost. We got a R60 per person voucher but nothing on the menu is to that value forcing you to pay the difference. I feel this should have been communicated to us before.

Great location in the centre of town. Staff very accommodating with our late arrival when they hadn't been able to get hold of us easily! Breakfast was served at a cafe across the street & was delicious. Staff we meant the following morning were all very friendly

There were a lot of doors to lock/unlock to get in. We found this OK for our 1 night stay but could have got annoying if we'd had a longer stay

The owner Marieta was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and very helpful. She wanted to create, for us, the best experience by providing hints and tips about what would be a soul-satisfying trip for us. Her friendly demeanor our stay a pleasure. The room was clean, neat, and cozy. The location was perfect to feed our desire for easy access to the whale festival as well as some nightlife. The breakfast was yummy and healthy. It was value for money.

I was satisfied. I wanted basic accommodation with easy access to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. All my needs were met.

Very neat and functional. Comfortable bed. Bathroom had everything you need for a comfortable stay.

There was not sufficient coffee sachets and NO sugar. There was also only one wine glass, although the room was marketed to sleep 2 people. I would rather market the specific room where we stayed for one person only, as the sleeping area was very small. The mounting angle of the TV was awkward, but you could still see.

the small balcony with the picknick table of room 1 was great! We could park te car below our room behind the fence what was very convenient. Breakfast was basic but very nice.

Our bed was old and made a lot of noice but the owner bought a new one but unfortunately it will be delivered after we left. The loud music coming from the neighbor can be quiet irritating some night as it stays open until 02:00 am.

Located in the centre of town! Short walk to the main attractions and restaurants. Off street parking available. Friendly and helpful staff. Good bed. Breakfast was arranged at a local restaurant and was excellent.

Our rooms (2&5) did not have air conditioning and the ceiling fans needed some repairs (noisy). Owners committed to have it fixed.

Pricing of booking.com was confusing .Paid R5500 for 5 nights as was adverised R1100 per night .Was told by owners that was the price for only four nights which was very embarrassing.Venue was perfect and owner and staff was very accommodating and good host.Will recommend and will definitely be back to Twentyfour 17.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating - assisting us with our early arrival & rearranging the room for twin beds, as requested on booking.com (which she wasn't notified of). The location was fantastic and so central, easy to get around & within walking distance from all the hotspots. The first breakfast venue was excellent - great food, lovely cosy setting and very friendly staff. Ronald the caretaker /manager (from TwentyFour 17 Inn) was outstanding, SUPER friendly, extremely helpful and such a joy to be around.

The room could do with an aircon or a decent fan (that isn't so old, as it made such a big noise it's impossible to sleep while it's on) - especially for the hot summer months!! The "including breakfast" option should not only be limited to the value of R60 per person, and then having to pay in if it exceeds that amount, as it really limits the breakfast choices on the menu. The first breakfast venue was great - but the second breakfast venue (on the Sunday at "The Wine Glass") had very limited breakfast options and we had to pay in, even for a coffee.

Friendly host and staff. Excellent position in town around the corner from the sea front. Parking is good too. Plenty of good local restaurants to visit!

Not much ventilation and load shedding (which is nothing to do with the hotel). No in house catering, you have to visit local restaurants using vouchers for breakfast.

The only minor thing: it is a bit loud because of the diesel compressors nearby (load shedding, ugh!)
