The bed!!! Its the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel.

The “apartment” has no cutlery. You have to pay extra for those. If anything include those in your prices. A plate is R15 for crying out loud!! We were asked to pay R500 for two plates and forks 😭

I really love this hotel, the cost, the location and its facilities. Whether I'm traveling alone or with my kids, it really is a pleasure. I also have never had safety concerns. It really is like a home away from home. One really gets value for their money.

It's always the same thing, cleanliness. Housekeeping are really dropping the ball. My room again wasn't cleaned as it should have. I can't be checking in but the bathroom has hair everywhere and the carpet is dirty. The bed being made and the counter being wiped doesn't equal a cleaned room.

My last stay the receptionist held us there for 2hrs because he said we needed to pay 100rand per hour until check in at 2pm and we got here at 12 which was really unpleasant

Front desk staff are excellent. Breakfast was great. Dinner options were great as well.

Security guards and Waiters at dinner did not seem to understand English well enough and were confusing. I booked breakfast with my reservation but the Breakfast Staff on entering did not have me booked - so a little confusion but they were helpful. My biggest challenge was the bathroom. My room had a bathtub with a shower in the bathtub. The shower rose was so close to the front of the bathtub and the water would not reach the center of the tub comfortably. Which meant I had to stand really close to the front of the bathtub and with the slope at the front it was dangerous. The tub did not have any anti-slip mats. The actual tub is also very high and to step in and out was dangerous. Water was not very hot as well.

Buffet breakfast -Excellent selection and varied. The omelet station was always welcomed and busy. Lots of fruits and juices to choose from, plus items for vegetarians. I actually looked forward to starting my day there with a cup of cappuccino! The grocery/liquor store directly below the hotel was great. We popped in there for a bottle of wine/snacks while in the room making calls, buy bottled water, etc. Very handy & quite large!!!

We were often confused by the sausages as there were no labels....pork? beef? It would have been very helpful and easy to put signs below the silver containers to assist. Some foods were new to us, too! The shower came over the floor enclosure and we needed to put towels on the ground. It never was caused by too much water at one time, but that it wouldn't drain in the proper direction. Washing machine was an asset, but when loadshedding starts, the machine stops...clothes are wrinkled badly hours later when it turns back on again...found out the hard way. A note on the front of the machine to advise us of this would have helped.

Everything about the place is amazing

One Big inconvenience.. They charge for early check ins per hour, check in is strictly 2 pm and we traveled from Botswana so after a 4hr drive and a fully paid room for 2 nights it would have been nice to check in upon arrival.. The room was available! I can understand charging for late check outs because rooms Need to be prepared for the next occupant on time, but charging a client for a room that's available is quite unfair

The place was absolutely well located with walking distance to different food options. The rooms were very nice and quite spacious and we loved the view from our room.

The first gentleman who helped us with our luggage was rude. We recognize that he helped us with lots of luggage. However, at the time of tipping he looked into my wallet to see what was inside and, when he spotted dollars, he demanded that we give him the USD 50 dollar note that he saw. We told him we would not give that but would tip him later once we had Rands. However, the next time we saw him in the entrance of the reception area he gesticulated very rudely (could say aggressively) that he was waiting on his tip - making us feel not very safe. Otherwise, this bad experience was cleared up with another gentleman who supported us when we checked out and was extremely supportive, funny and friendly.
