Room size is very good. No effects of loadshedding. Has a fridge and freezer, oven, stove etc.. Great value for the price. Location is good too. Also if you're able to get a space, there's secure parking. I would definitely stay here again.

The King Size Bed/Double bed is just two single beds pushed together, and it splits in the middle quite easily. Also the Bathroom could be bigger. Quite compact shower and toilet space.

Breakfast was good. The room was clean and very comfortable. Location was amazing as it was accessible to shopping centres and restaurants. The location was also very safe especially for a woman travelling on her own. I really recommend this place.

The hotel itself had a cool and funky vibe. The restaurant was a laidback, wonderful addition. It's in a wonderful location--quiet and peaceful, but so close to Nelson Mandela Square (less than 10 minutes walking!)

We had booked a one-bedroom suite, and when we arrived they put us in a room through an unexpected door to the side of the reception. It was not comfortable, felt sterile, had a groundfloor view of the parking area, and seemed more like a model room, rather than one for actual guests. On the second day, they moved us to the first floor, into a studio (so not a suite), but it still felt nicer, more comfortable, with a warmer vibe and nicer view from our balcony.

I loved the interior design of the hotel and the room. I loved all the facilities and everything was in working condition. I loved the comfortable bed. The food was delicious.

There was no room service available. We had to request additional towels. We had rowdy guests next door due to wedding celebrations and all over the the property is was stated to be mindful of noise levels. It was disappointing that the staff said they had an event but no staff members told the guests to be quiet. I was woken up at 6am with loud singing and talking.

I liked the location very much and the staff was not bad.

The facilities were over marketed and the canteen was quite not impressive

Amazing value for money - the room itself was fantastic: spacious, quiet, aircon worked well, tastefully decorated, very comfortable (quite luxurious fittings) and very clean. It was also fitted with a full kitchen. The front desk staff were very friendly. The location is great for business travelers (central Sandton).

A housekeeper entered my room without knocking and was not all apologetic when I pointed this out.

The coffee and the restaurant The Staff Controlled access Security Location Library Meditation Spaces Boardrooms for office work

The A/C was fight a losing battle against the summer heat, even when I dropped it down to the lowest temperature and had it on high. Found it odd that poached eggs, weren’t a thing on the breakfast menu. The open bar on the 4th floor, most definitely needs new pillows on their day beds. I observed that the property is highly frequented by guests(during my stay), so the wear and tear is evident of that, so take the marketing images with a grain of salt.

It is close to sandton city mall, you can walk there! Loved the restaurant on the property, very convenient-could do with more modern furnishings though 😉 Front desk staff is might helpful, and the security too is very polite and helpful

The balcony had no furniture, just a lonely round table The bathroom lock was loose, which was a bit of a turnoff, I came back for a day of shopping and my room wasn’t made, I made the staff aware of which they apologized profusely, found housekeeping to fix the room , which was ready in 5mins tops! Talk about a rushed job, even the workmanship was poor, but hey, nobody likes complaining right 🙃 Otherwise great stay

The location is wonderful. The coffee at breakfast was great, but that's the only thing good about breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The special spaces in the Hotel like rooftop, meditation garden, library, meeting spaces are quite wonderful.

The noise is too much, they could reduce the volume so that the hotel lobby is not presented as a night club. The breakfast options for Hotel guests is not good. On top of that it came with missing ingredients. You should rather order directly from the menu and pay for your breakfast directly. The self-catering unit is not equipped at all, hardly a pot or glasses in the kitchen, and spoons had to be requested separately, that is a no-no.

-Location and proximity to 2 malls in Sandton -Quiet and very ideal for working -Cleaned daily -Large room -Not affected by load-shedding -Very polite, professional staff -Pedestrian gate hard to open from the outside. A guard always had to help me

-A bit over-priced as the rooms are very basic and dark -House keeping response often takes way too long and this was the same case at BlackBrick 2 where I stayed previously -my room was situated on a side of the hotel, where there were lots of people loitering in the adjacent plot, and this was very concerning, and felt quite insecure for me
