We loved the pools. Breakfast was amazing! My omelettes were 100/10. Roomserves was done well. Security was on point - Lovuyo Mcephe escorted us across the road and stopped traffic to get us across the street everytime we crossed. We also could relax knowing our vehicles were behind a secure fence with Security guards at night. Location was great, we enjoyed walking to the water front. We loved that swim towels were provided and that the wifi was strong and actually usable. We LOVED all the wood and the history displayed of the Inn.

The staff were excellent and absolutely gave their best however in the evenings it seems the kitchen / bar is understaffed. The barman had to assist the chef in the kitchen and place food orders, leaving the bar unattended. A silly thing- but nonetheless less I feel worth mentioning... every morning our soap was replaced but it was barely used. Although we appreciate the guesture, we feel it was a bit wasteful and would have been happy to use the same soap bar for the duration of our stay - The same with our toilet paper, we were given x2 brand new rolls a day. We would have gladly used them from beginning to end. It would have been nice to have a bar fridge to keep drinks cold. Overall good experience and we want to come back!

The stay was good, we enjoyed the jaccuzi and nice swimming pool.

They can improve on security at the gate as we had to wait long when we want to enter and exit the premises as this poses a risk of being hijacked or robbed at the gate. There was no chef for two days at the restaurant that we meant we could not order from it even if we didn't want to go out. Overall the stay was good with excellent staff ready to assist

Well maintained facility,clean,checking in a breeze.Staff were great and pleasant to deal with. The breakfast for the athletes was a good gesture and appreciated.The breakfast for the general guest was well received.Overall a great time was had by all.Many thanks.

Maybe bottled water for guest in the rooms could be considered.A bar fridge in the rooms could be welcomed.

The staff were super friendly and helped us with questions. The location was near to the waterfront and perfect for exploring Knysna on foot. Breakfast was in the sister hotel across the road. It was pretty decent although there was no gluten free bread. There was on site parking which was really appreciated.

The room was fairly small and dark with no windows to the outside. It was fairly noisy early on the Friday evening (5pm) with people on the street outside our bathroom window but it was quiet later when we were going to sleep.

The hotel is in an excellent location, only a short walk from the nearby harbour. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was excellent and large enough for the family. Breakfast was very nice too with great selection and buffet style. The hotel is also nicely furnished and the log cabin feel is homely. It was also very safe.

The staff, they were incredible from the reception, to the bar to the breakfast. Everyone was just so welcoming and helpful.

There is no soundproofing at all, the walls are paper thin. So you really hear the neighbors.

We stayed in the 3* property previously known as the Graywood Hotel. The room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. Location of the accomodation was very good and it was walking distance to the Knysna waterfront. As for safety, the street towards the waterfront is safe to walk after it gets dark. Good to also check with the staff on the safety expect. Seafood at the O Pescador Restaurant was amazing.

Due to loadshedding, electricity gets cut and thankfully the property has generator to ensure we still have electricity. However we were given the room beside the generator (Room 50) and it was noisy for some hours during bedtime and the early morning hours.

Can you please put in a bar fridge in the rooms and perhaps more dstv channels, because there was nothing to watch on tv

The hotel was lovely, and the rooms were nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast was provided and the food and service was excellent.

The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was that the shower was over a bath which was rather difficult to climb into and out of. We are both in our mid sixties and would prefer a seperate showers cubicle.
