We stayed in Premier Resort The Moorings, Knysna for two nights. Our apartment was huge, clean and well equipped! We had everything we needed. Great advantage was a power generator which gives you full independence from load shedding!

Very limited and simple breakfast. The quality of food was rather low. If you have more time in the moring just go and find better place in the city. Further, you should introduce a total smoking ban in an open space in your restaurant. We are living in the 21st century - smoking kills! Internet connection was terribly slow! What is more there was no information how to properly connect to your Wi-Fi. I accidently connected my phone to the slowest option and never managed to changed it and nobody could help me with that as this was in IT issue! My iPad was properly conected to your faster network. Neverthless it was very slow! I was sharing my private 5G as there was no way to use your Internet. Work on it, please!

Let's start by saying that I stayed here at the Premier Resort The Moorings twice in a row during a round-road trip from Cape Town to Addo Elephant National Park and back, despite having several other options. What I appreciated the most is the quality of the service provided by the staff. A little touch: on my second visit, they gave me the very same room I had the first time, plus they always remember and call you by name, which is something that I really appreciate. The swimming pool area is very enjoyable, and the menù provided for a lunch by the pool is various, and with a great value for money. The room is bigger than expected, spotless, and I did appreciate the terrace so much. The position is good as well, close to every main attraction you can find in Knysna.

Nothing to mention. Such a perfect stay.

Almost everything

1) Breakfast buffet had limited options. 2) Our apartment had a permanent Musty unpleasant smell. In the cupboards even worse. 3) Lots of mosquitos around and no Pesticide and Peaceful sleep/Tabard was provided in our room. It was very unpleasant if you went outside or sat on your patio, so we ended up buying our own. 4) We booked and paid for a Waterfront facing apartment, but it was double booked and they gave us a Garden facing Suite instead, which I noticed afterwards was slightly cheaper, but the difference wasn't refunded to us.

This incredible place is so special. I didn't really plan well, It was my wife's birthday weekend. The staff went out of their way to make it special. The Hotel is beautifully place on the lake which leads to the bay. Peaceful with clean crisp air mornings. The Hotels air-conditioning help with the extreme heat. Excellent and comfortable rooms with amazing bathroom. Lots of activities on the property or just a short drive from the Hotel. I shouldn't forget the pool area and bar prefectly located to eachother. All in All a wonderful experience for us.

We arrived at the Premier hotel Knysna shortly before lunch and we were greeted by super friendly and helpful staff. We were too early for check in, but we relaxed at the pool with drinks, entertainment (bingo!) and an awesome pool-side lunch. We immediately felt like we were finally on holiday. The room was massive, the food was amazing and the staff were incredibly attentive. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone searching for comfort, style and friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing and fresh.

Our stay was simply too short - wished we could stay longer!!!!!

Staff are awesome. Bed was amazing. Room is spacious with garden view. TV had suffiect channels for entertainment. We felt safe.

I booked the accomodation as I was doing the Knysna marathon but there was no cutlery in the kitchen. I couldn't prepare any of my own meals at 4am for my run. I suppose this isn't always necessary but maybe leave a bowl or plate for guests to use to eat from. So that was disappointing. There were cups for coffee though. The TV in the bedroom had no plug when we arrived. The shower is in the bath and I don't like this. Should just remove the bath have a dedicated shower. The bath is too shot to be comfortable in anyway. Otherwise everything else was great. Staff are awesome. Bed was amazing. Thanks for having us.

We really enjoyed our stay and the array of activities and entertainment, the whole family was entertained. The staff was very helpful and present.

The menu. Breakfast needs to be a little more interesting, it got a bit repetitive after the second day. Oh and an upgrade on your tvs. One of our rooms had a tv with access to netflix whilst 2 rooms didnt. Needs to be consistent throughout the rooms for the same price.

Location is perfect: 5 minutes to the Heads, 5 minutes to Thesen and WFront. By the water though not windy. Grounds are beautiful. The cottage was so spacious and convenient, lights were well thought over, bathrooms were spotless. We were on a long route through the Garden Route, and that place was the best place we stayed in terms of comfort for us and for the kids.

Laundry service was questionable, but that was such a minor thing compared to the advantages of the place.

The rooms were big with kitchen, lounge and dining table. The staff were super helpful and friendly. And the kids club was so awesome! So many fun activities for the kids. My daughter could not wait to go every day!

The Wi-Fi was terrible and inconsistent. There was also no cutlery and crockery in the kitchen which was a pity. Expecting guests to bring pots and pans is not realistic especially those flying down from Joburg or overseas.

This has nothing to do with my stay at the Premier hotel but I would like to express my disappointment with what has subsequently unfolded. On the 24th of March 23 I could not swipe my credit card due to loadshedding in Knysna and I went to the city centre to withdraw the cash, and paid the Hotel R992. On the 8th of April 23 my credit card was debited for the same amount. After numerous emails, phone calls and sending the invoice for the stay as well as emailing my bank statement to the following persons at the Hotel group.Olwethu at the Premier hotel,Wayne and Ethan at the Premier Knysna(10 days ago)I haven't heard from anyone as yet. This smacks of either total disregard or 'not my problem'
