Our stay was awesome, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The chalet was well laid out, comfortable and clean, we asked to extend our stay and luckily we could. We enjoyed out time in Montagu.

Only thing that we didn't like is the toilet was broken in our chalet and we had to figure out how to flush the toilet. This should be checked and fixed before visitors arrive. We also felt that the staff need to be more attentive, some were very friendly.

The friendly staff and the way it was maintained in and around the place we stayed in .

The fact that the hot water pool was not working right and they did not inform us before we made the booking.But the staff informed us when we got here we had to go to avalon springs was a bit expensive to go in and the pools was also not up to the temperature we expect when we come to Montagu springs. The shop is expensive just a bit over price for your everyday things that you will pay half the price if you drive to the shops and that they by for less and sell to us for more much more.

The fireplace inside golden terrace was so awesome and the barbecue braai outside 😍. The chalet has everything that you need. From the bedroom to the kitchen. Cozy and warm atmosphere ✨️ 💕 💖 😍 The Avalon Springs was freaken awesome with a variety of hot pools to choose from and cocktails served as well.

Loadshedding was horrible coz it was on stage 6 and each night of my stay the power went off 20h00-00h30. No tennis balls available at reception for play. No cash available at ATM machine. Need to drive to town to draw cash. All these activities needs to be paid in cash.

The views were nice. The family pools, and the park for kids. The house was nice and big, both balconies were great to relax. We asked for a cot and they organised one which was great. The space in the house was more than enough.

There were a few things in the house that were not that great. The microwave did not heat up to standard, the bath taps were not up to standard, one single bed did not have all the foot pieces so it was unstable to lay on, the shower need proper cleaning because the water is unable to flow so u stand in a puddle of water in the shower.

The service that we got was really awesome. would come back anytime soon. the pool was nice and clean and would refer all my friends and family to go there. staff was really accomodating and helpful.

what i didnt like was the loadshedding but i know it was not the place doing and i know would be difficult but if they can make more arrangements that would better that perhaps to keep the people more happy.

The Aircon as old as it is worked thankfully. Loved the fireplace in the living area and open plan space. There were enough DStv channels to keep both husband and kid entertained. The space and resort are very relaxing and the poos were not over crowded

The unit we were in was somewhat outdated. The oven door was loose - had to lean a chair against it to keep it properly closed. One kitchen cupboard door fell off. The kettle was on the blink. The unit will benefit from panel heaters in the rooms as the main bedroom was very cold. There was no delivery option from the restaurant so we had to fetch food. WiFi signal is bad at the top in the villas. People staying in the chalets near the pools were allowed to blare loud music which was unpleasant for us trying to get away and relax

I like the nature and the environment All the people are friendly and there's something for everyone to do during the day . Lots of activities for the kids

The pool at the Golden terrace were green full of sand and leaves which is a disgusting to swem in . The wifi connection were poor had to walk to the office side to get signal. The fact you have to pay so much for the weekend and stil have to pay R20 for the warm water but you staying as a guest at the resort is ridiculous. Further on everything was good

The peacefulness. The cottage was clean and had everything and more for a self catering stay. The staff of both Montagu and Avalon Springs was tops, they were so helpful and kind.

We love playing pool but the set wasn't complete and there was no chalk. On our last night there we wanted to play a last set of table tennis but the ball was missing. Could there be more control of the game room. Like if you want to play, pay a fee to get cues or balls and when you return it, you'll get your money back. We had access to a pool but it was to cold. The main attraction and reason why we opted for montagu Springs,was the hot water springpools, we had to pay to make use of it. I was under the impression that if you stay there it's free.

We loved using the tennis facilities

we were not able to utilise the warm baths at Avalon due to construction. Property needs more warm pools and lacks water entertainment like slides, etc. The property should consider having a dedicated entertainment area ( table tennis, pool etc) and Conference room. The property should place stickers for visibility at the conference room sliding doors as I hurt my nose when I walked into it. ( I have not at that time have a single alcoholic drink…. for info).

you can say it went well theres alot that changed some are for the better but some things i do miss from wen i used to visit as a child but the place is so so beautiful i will try to visit once a year

that the hot springs was split the bikes with steering wheel i missed that and really wanted to show my kids that. where did the hiking trail go???
