The accomdation was comfortable and good location and spacious. The breakfast was excellent , the host at the breakfast was warm and friendly and always smiling and always efficient. The restaurant(saddles) nearby serves wonderful food, the lamb chops was the best we have ever eaten.

the reception was not very friendly and too helpful. We did arrive early and although we were allowed to leave our luggage in the lobby, my wife needed to change and freshen up after our journey and the lady at reception was not welcoming and not helpful, eventually my wife was allowed to freshen up, the reception was not knowledgeable to recommend places to see or visit, even just brushed the restaurant as serving fast food, but we discovered ourselves that the restaurant serves lovely meals, i would not recommended the place for the welcoming at reception, but past that the breakfast was worth staying there. Should you want to use uber to get around here, it takes long to get one

Location was fantastic if you are going to Stellenbosch for either a wine tasting weekend or else a wedding nearby like we did. The fact that there is a steakhouse on the same plot means that food is very close by if you tired on the day you arrive which is fantastic. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Beds and linen were super comfy. Aircon was great. Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was very nice, lots of options.

The only thing which might need a bit of attention in the room was the shower. The shower head is a poor choice for the angle which means most of the water just flows down the wall and makes showering a bit strange. A good old fashioned shower head would be a better choice.

The whole place,well laid out,beautiful gardens,well maintained.Was clean,neat and tidy with a lovely big clean pool.Aircon,that worked and big bed with big clean bathroom,with tub and shower.room also had bar fridge.the whole place was quiet and one could enjoy the private patio.The breakfast was good,hot and cold choices,there could however been some fresh bread or rolls.coffee was awesome.this place is really good value for money.highly recommended

Its a bit far,about 10kms from Stellenbosch and you need a car,no shops or supermarkets around.there is however an excellent restaurant(steakhouse)next to the accommodation.that said it is still in close proximity to wine farms(Hartzenberg)just up the road,Simonsig and close to N1 highway to get to Paarl..it also borders on to the Devon Vale golf course.

I liked the privacy of the unit. I also liked that if I called the cell for assistance or questions that ther person answered and was willing to assist at all times.

I would have like a little bit more coffee pods and milk in the room. The Cushions was not good at all. The towls was very old so it did not give the crisp feeling I would have liked.

Very friendly staff, cute veranda, very large bed, spacious bathroom, tennis court (you can get balls and rackets for free), a (small) pool and mini golf. But what's best is the breakfast!!! Just loved it - fresh fruit salad with yogurt, freshly baked croissants, cheese, ham, different types of juices. Everything available+ good coffee. And on top you can order egg specialities or bacon etc. Just great. Ah, and a coffee machine and water kettle in the room and a mini bar!!!

Location is not super central so one definitely needs a car.

The room was very comfortable and we had our own little terrace to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order. Celine, sorry if I get the name wrong, who served us breakfast in the morning was so nice. Greeted with a smile and seemed to remember what people took in the morning! She is a keeper.

The bathroom shower could be up dated but aside from that, very enjoyable.

Second time staying here and would certaily come again! Perfect location close to the farm where we had a wedding. Very comfortable, and ultra clean. Their generator keeps the power on during loadshedding. They have started to renovate/update the bathrooms (a couple of units have been completed). And breakfast was top notch!

Two minor things: (1) The wifi was slow while load shedding, which affected my work. (2) The duvet inner is a bit thick and warm for summer.

The room and things to do was great. Breakfast was also really good. They went out of their way to cater to our needs. Easy access to the property from both an entry and exit perspective. Very clean and welcoming!

The airconditioner in the room was a little slow in cooling down the room. Could be due to loadshedding. There is a generator and it only takes a moment for the generator to start and everything to be powered up again.

A very enjoyable stay at Vine Guesthouse. The breakfast, particularly the Eggs Benedict, was amazing and surpassed our expectations. The rooms are generously sized and maintained with exceptional cleanliness. The comfort of the bed and pillows stood out, offering a level of coziness that is often overlooked in other accommodations.

We liked everything, it was perfect for our needs. We had a nice outside veranda, privacy and close to the lovely pool. The breakfast was great and the woman who served us was so nice. We also appreciated that it was a restaurant on the property so we could get something to eat and drink in the evening. Extra bonus was the lovely playground there which our grandchildren enjoyed.
