Philip's service was top notch. The breakfast was always splendid and he also went out of his way to give a lot of useful tips to make the trip even better when we went sight seeing and were looking for new dining experiences in the area. It's quite close to White River and approximately 20 minutes from Mbombela(Nelspruit). Sabie and Hazyview are also not too far off from the premises. The staff were also exceptional in sharing tips about staying safe in the region. There were a lot of different birds on the premises, a few antelope that we spotted,one encounter with a tree snake and a few geckos,but all in all a great experience. If you want a break from the city life and be in natural environment (semi-wild),then this is for you.

An unbelievable breakfast in a truly beautiful setting. A lot of care and love went into making a delicious breakfast ..... lots of little extras, that just made the breakfast and the setting something special. Wish we had had more time to savour such a special start to our morning! The bed is very comfortable, and the pillows were wonderful. Best pillows I have ever slept on in a guesthouse!! Stunning garden with large trees and lots of wonderful birds. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature.

The breakfast was very good served on the deck with attractive views over the pretty garden. The paintings on the walls and in the nearby studio were super and very accomplished. Philips wood furniture in his workshop was really good too. The bed was nice and comfy as was the sitting area and there was a big table with chairs in the dining area. There was also a good shower.

There was a microwave but no cooking facilities. The toilet cistern took a long time to fill up and the lighting in the sitting area needed some attention. Electrical sockets and wiring seemed rather antiquated. It was somewhat open to the elements, a bit like bush camping but is due to be updated in the near future. The new studio apartment will be wonderful when finished. We experienced a lot of outages which was not the fault of the owner but would benefit from an inverter. Nevertheless we enjoyed our visit and all the arty ceramic quirkiness and friendly conversation.

Great location with a stunning view, very friendly owner (Philipp is a warm-hearted guy and open for an intersting chat if you want), great breakfast, luxurious rooms, stunning artwork from this artistic family. All in all I recommend staying here 100%. The new 3-bedroom add-on is just about to be finished. Views are even better from down there and the industrial design looks fantastic.

we loved being so close to nature and the beautiful location - The ELOFF Family story is one for the record and we left feeling privileged to have shared there magical world! Do you self a favor and include there new STUDIO in your next visit to Nelspruit / White River / Kruger, you will be blown away....

The view out over the bushveld from the rooms is wonderful. You really feel as if you are in the middle of a beautiful game reserve. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast served on the deck. The fruit salad with about 10 different fruits was just the best!

That we were only able to stay there one night!

The place is beautiful, the paintings and ambiance of the Eloff Gallery is so special and got more out of it than expected. So clean and comfortable. A magnificent breakfast, delicious and super value foe our money.

We enjoyed the venue and the surrounding, the nature surrounding the venue met the expectations we had and what we wanted to get out of the venue. The space was also big enough and we enjoyed the comfort and warmth we also received from the hosts.

Everything was great with the only two points we would share which we did not like much was having to watch the tv in the other room when our beds are in the other room, it was hard to use it at night when tired. Also we spent three days at the venue using the same towels, bedding and no cleaning done for all three days.

Surrounded by Nature, big old trees, awaken by the songs of the early birds and the peace of tranquility - what an awesome place. Thank you so much Mrs Rene & Phillip for your hospitality. We will definitely visit again.
