VERY GOOD BREAKFAST, FRESH INGREDIENTS

The location is central between the City and Hazyview. I enjoyed it’s proximity to an ATM, a variety of restaurants to choose from, galleries and art shops etc. I liked that buffet breakfast was included with the total cost and that their restaurant which is open to the public also doubles as room service. The restaurant’s cappuccino is very good - that easily could have been my highlight. The customer service was really good.

I don’t have much to fault only that room 24’s wi-if connection was not that great. But it seemed fine in other areas like the pool and the restaurant. My room only had a shower.

We booked at the hotel with adjoining restaurant as we were arriving from a long car journey and we hadn’t eaten the whole day travelling. when we arrived at the hotel restaurant we were told by the restaurant staff they couldn’t seat us as they were full, and the restaurant reception staff made us feel most unwelcome. After some time they managed to sort it out and find us a table. the restaurant wasn’t full even when we finished and left, so we were not sure what it was all about ! I reccomend you ensure your dinner booking when you make your reservation !

Large rooms. Quiet. Beautiful pool and garden area. Air conditioning. Large shower with good water flow and water heated up quickly. Adequately sized desk and suitable chair with accessible plugs. Large comfortable bed with perfect pillows. Balcony. Suitcase stand. Lots of seating. Spacious airey restuarant in very easy walking distance.

No dedicated foot path to restuarant - walk up a section of road with no pavement. No bottled water.

I loved the cleanliness of the place, everything is as it looks on the internet and more. As someone who was going there for the second time, I wouldn't mind going back again or recommending it to someone else. The staff is superb, everyone greets you with a smile, they're welcoming.

The first time I went with friends, we had issues with the breakfast menu, because they're only serving pork/bacon sausages. So for us people who don't eat pork and enjoys meat, we are always left dissapointed 🥲.

We were welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff, as they were throughout the stay. We loved the location of the hotel; the rooms were exceptional, nice, and spacious, as was the pool—amazing!

The WiFi connectivity wasn't so great. The spacing between the water faucet and the basin wasn't well thought out; we could barely wash our hands in the basin. The showers could be cleaner, as we found hair in them.

I really enjoyed that we were in such a central location, there was so much to do and see. The staff were absolutely friendly and accommodating. They really made this a wonderful experience. The food at Gum Treez is completely worth it! Very affordable and delicious! Not to mention the excellent service and the wonderful staff!

The magnolia restaurant is definitely overpriced for the quality of food that is provided. Breakfast wasn't all that great as they only had pork options, other than the deli Turkey slices. We had to request a different option. The food is definitely more on the mediocre side. However their staff are incredible and accommodating, we had ordered the ramen bowl on our first day and it was so incredibly oversalted that we could barely stomach the three bites we took, however our waiter went out of his way to bring it to the chefs attention after having tasted it himself , he truly was a star and made our experience much better.

It was in a great location, the grounds were very well maintained and the rooms were neat and tidy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We went for a few days to get out of the city and came back refreshed and rested.

Some maintenance is needed in the rooms like plugs for the bath and basin not fitting properly kind of things. But honestly it’s so minor that’s it’s not an issue.

The hotel's restaurant, Magnolia, has an excellent menu and the staff are super! The Casterbridge Hotel is in the Casterbridge "Lifestyle Center" with its own cafés, restaurants, pubs, and even a cinema! One can spend days relaxing without venturing out into the "real world".

Although the property looks old but it smells good and very clean .The breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly.

The shower was not good , the door did close properly and the bath tape did not close properly.
