This place is absolutely breath taking,had a wonderful quiet time in the bush. So relaxing, I would come back every week if I could. Maxwell, the porter was an amazing host, my hubby and I loved him so much. He could sell out that place every week and weekend given the opportunity, such a bright young man. We were sad to check out on his off day, didn't get to say goodbye

We drove from Rustenburg, traffic was bad and checked in late around 09h30pm. The Fikile who checked us in was very irritated and annoyed and I was told there is 3 of them (Fikile's) working at reception. I didn't appreciate that at all, provided that I communicated through out the entire drive

The hotel is really inside a reserve, where some wild animals could be seen. We rented a tent and the facilities of the room are perfect.

The dinner included is ok, but it has a lack of vegetarian choices. The bathroom of the tent is not really private, without a real door. I prefer toilets totally closed to make a private environment. Lastly, the hotel offers some trails around the reserve, but those trails are tottally abandoned. I tried to go through the easiest one and it has big fallen trees obstructing the way. It is a nice idea but requires maintenance. I hired the hotel service to go to KMIA Airport (15km) and it costed 900R (50 usd). That value it is absurd considering the distance and is an abuse of being in a remote location.

ALL staff were very friendly and helpful. Fikile, was great with the Gin tasting, the chef's food was great, the porter Maxwell was super friendly, our tour guide Derek knew his work and was super kind and Thobile who's work at attitude were very welcoming.

2 out of 3 days we did NOT have hot water in the morning. The staff tried to put the geyser on manual, but it would not heat up before our activities for the day had begun. The staff tried their best to accommodate us, however, I expect the basic necessities when I pay around R9500 for a luxury vacation. This was not acceptable.

Everything was amazing about the place from how we were welcomed by Israel at the parking lot to the service we got when we checked in with Inno and Alice they were super lovely, a big shoutout to the servers Mercy and Carol they really served us with warmth and Bongani for checking on us every now and then if we’re still enjoying ourselves. The scenic drive was so amazing with Jabu, learned so much from him about the animals. I wish I could mention everyone, that’s how amazing it was and our room had such a lovely view, the food was amazing. I cannot fault you on anything guys👏

The surroundings absolutely gives the 'bush feel' and we could truly just come and relax! The staff were all eager to serve and help and we had a wonderful stay! Food was delicious too!

Despite requests from the Lodge itself, that one keep the noise level down, the Luxury tents are close enough that conversations in the surrounding tents could be heard at night. Also, early morning STAFF arriving or driving on the nearby roads on, I assume, open trucks/pick-ups, are very load and this woke us up both mornings, despite wanting to sleep a little late. Not sure that it is something that can change, as the Lodge is surrounded by working farms...

The tents were located well in the bush with views over the adjacent game farm and nearby farms , The beds were spacious and clean. Bathrooms were clean, basic for what you needed it and had all the bathroom things a fridge, hairdryer, and emergency lights and aircon, you needed to make your say enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and always willing to assist. The sinic drive was very nice with the lookout point , we got to see a few animals. The breakfast was really good with a good selection to choose from and different types of tea and good coffee. the boma dinner was really good and nice to have with the fire when there is a large group lots of meat and the RSA favorite pap with a braai . This is definitely an experience and a definite recommendation to do.very good security to the facility

The breakfast was ok, however you were out of stock of orange juice. During winter time could you please provide gas heaters at the lodge, and maybe knee blankets for your guests when they have dinner at the lodge. We were freezing! The tented lodge are really amazing, but an aircon is not helping if the bathroom's roof is open, was really cold. We requested a blanket for our room but did not receive one.

I loved all the amenities and the location of the tents which made it possible to see some animals from our base. Staff were quite friendly and arranged our excursions even at short notice

I did not appreciate that guests were allowed to smoke and vape in the common/public restaurant area during our dinner and breakfast meals. At one point we raised it to the waitress who was nice enough to ask the guests to smoke outside but the other times it just felt awkward to be a complaining guest. Would love the lodge to enforce the rule considering the law

The breakfast was exceptional and delicious with so many options, there is something for everyone! My favourite was the delicious pastries and eggs done exactly how I like it. Dinner was tasty filled with authentic South African flavours, we enjoyed the Potjiekos and Braai's, but done in a luxurious and uniquely delicious way. The location was absolutely beautiful, we could truly relax and unwind in the bush. We enjoyed the stunning view over the valley from the patio, drinking gin cocktails while laying on the comfortable daybeds outside. The staff is so friendly and helpful, driving you up and down with a golf cart to massages and helping with luggage. We arrived so tired, and left recharged and ready for the busy-ness of everyday life again.

The dinner and breakfast were outstanding. So was the accommodation and the beds were super comfortable. We wished we had booked in for more than one night. The surrounding area is also beautiful and would invite being explored. There is a walk that can be done on the reserve. Because we had originally been told it was only 1.5 km long, we didn't leave enough time to do the whole walk which I believe is about 8.5 km long.

We were a bit disappointed that the bar closed before 10pm when dinner was served until 9pm. We could have happily sat on a bit longer to enjoy the beautiful evening. We were however told the bar was closing. We were obviously able to take drinks to our tent, but that was not as nice as staying on the lodge decking.
