The morning breakfasts left outside the door were fantastic and they were served in a picnic style basket which was a lovely touch. I stayed in a top floor corner room and had good views down the street from the huge floor to ceiling windows. The large bed and duvet were very comfortable and the bath was a nice addition to the shower. There is a very nice coffee shop downstairs within the building and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is very good, Haeundae, Dadaepo and Gwangalli beaches are all easily accessible using the local metro station. Lots of places to visit locally and not too far from the main Busan train station either. I'm really happy I stayed at Good Ol' Days in Busan, I would definitely choose to stay here again. Thanks.

We found the housekeeping times from 10:00-12:00 a bit unfortunate. Breakfast arrives at 08:30, so enjoying all the amenities of the room and maybe sleeping a bit longer puts you soon under time constraints here. Of course it is not a huge hotel with a lot of capacity, but already shifting the time to 11:00 - 13:00 or 12:00 - 14:00 would greatly ease the situation.

The hotel was so detailed. They provide you with postcards that you can send to yourself, along with notepads and a hand written note to welcome your stay. They give you breakfast in a picnic basket with delicious food every morning. All the snacks provided in the room and refrigerator is free and they refill it everyday. They give you free coffee in the morning at their coffee shop in the lobby. You can upgrade to their speciality coffee and just pay the difference. The hotel location is walkable to shopping areas/markets. The staff were so nice and attentive. The rooms were beautifully decorated. The beds were cozy and comfortable.

Every morning, there's a breakfast basket outside your door. It's simple, but delicious and enough to get you through the morning. There's water, coffee beans and some snacks in the room that are restocked during housekeeping. The room was big and clean. Bath robes and enough towels were provided, and the bathtub was stocked with MALIN+GOETZ products. The general manager runs an Instagram account (@checkinbusan) with great local tips, and very kindly helped us get a reservation at a restaurant nearby. There's a lot of good spots within walking distance, and access to public transportation is also very easy!

- The temperature in the room can be a little hard to control.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and THE BEST hotel of the 8 I stayed in on my trip. I almost don’t want to express how amazing my experience was as it likely means the hotel will be too popular for when I want to return. However, the design of the hotel rooms, the bathroom and attention to detail is exceptional. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. And the experiences such as the breakfast delivery, the personalised gifts, the food and drink available in the mini bar etc is priceless. I appreciated the request to take off your shoes when entering, and how comfortable the room immediately made me feel as well as how accommodating and friendly the staff were. If I could stay at this hotel over and over again, I would. Also the drinks from the cafe are great.

The hotel was really trendy and the room was super comfortable. It felt like the staff had thought about every aspect of the hotel experience and provided a bunch of super cool free amenities. The location was near many of Busan’s top attractions.

The breakfast provided was a little bit disappointing, considering all the amazing items the hotel served at the cafe downstairs. Also the hotel provided us with free coffee coupons but the cafe only opened at 10:30am, which may be too late for tourists raring to see the city.

This hotel was so charming. All the little touches like the memory books, maps and history of the area. A great thing was the built in universal adaptors as Korea has sunken outlets that don’t always suit our Australian global adaptors. Loved this feature! The bed and pillows were also super comfy and the location was so convenient. The staff were very helpful with suggesting restaurants and things to do. Breakfast was also delicious. It was a wonderful room to relax in as well as we had a couple of rainy days that weren’t optimal for outside adventuring

The hotel is located at the downtown area away from the hustle and bustle of Haeundae Beach, we appreciated the local vibe. Our stay was really comfortable, we enjoyed the room very much. It was made extra special with a complimentary upgrade too! Thank you the GOOD team! The overall vibe and decor was on point, the room was clean and spacious, everything from furniture to bathroom amenities was very well thought of. Complimentary snacks, instant noodle, beverages, coffee were provided in room. Each morning at 830am, a cute picnic basket, with scone and jam, granola, juice and milk was delivered to our door. The hotel is surrounded with great local restaurants and cute cafes to be discovered. Fashion street and Lotte shopping centre was really close by. Public bus and train was super accessible and easy to navigate around Busan.

Nothing to dislike. Really loved the record player and vinyl selection provided in the room. It was a nice exchange for a room with no TV for background noise.

Everyone working at the hotel is exceptionally nice, polite, and helpful! Having genuinely friendly staff (not the stiff, perfunctory politeness I often encounter at Sofitel and similar hotels) put me and my husband in a great mood during our stay. Due to poor navigation on my part, I was hopeless lost while finding the hotel and its parking. There are many one-way streets and it can be a bit challenging. I called front desk and the nice young lady offered to come and meet us and did. She rode with us to the hotel parking. By the way, it should be noted that the parking is across the street in a private parking facility. Once I new its location, it was easy getting the car in and out everyday. The hotel has a fantastic cafe right by the front desk. Everything there is delicious. The baristas are friendly and the coffee menu is exceptional. The hotel has a nice, clean, slightly retro vibe. We enjoyed walking through the cafe/lobby to access the elevator. The room was well designed, clean, and comfortable. We liked the extensive use of wood in the room. The shower pressure was good. The bathroom was spotless, and a big plus was the Dyson hair dryer! The hardness of the mattress was just right. The hotel delivers a simple but delicious breakfast every morning around 8:30a. I don't enjoy an American breakfast typically, so the continental breakfast consisting of scones, yogurt, etc. was more than sufficient. The room has a manual coffee grinder and equipment for pour-over coffee and also has excellent loose leaves tea. The location was great as it was close to the main roads. If the travelers are into shopping, there is a nice mall nearby. The street with various shops is only about 5 to 6 minute walk from the hotel. There are multitude of restaurants nearby as well. My husband and I plan on returning to Busan next year and plan on staying here again.

We had an amazing stay at the good ol days hotel. We were delighted by the hotel’s beautiful room, friendly staff, and overall charm. The room was clean, spacious, and well designed. The interior was modern yet classy with wooden cabinetry and finishes which added warmth and plenty of storage space. The bathroom and shower/tub was spacious and clean stocked with high end body and hair products. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and were able to communicate in english. The thoughtful details are what made our stay special. When you enter the room you are greeted with a handwritten welcome note and a gift bag with notepads, a map of Busan, postcards, and stamps. Included in our room was a drawer full of high quality stationary, colouring pencils, stickers and tape for you to use to craft your postcard. The room also included a record player and a pour over coffee station, with detailed instructions on how to brew. The bedding was custom made and comfortable. Every morning free breakfast gets delivered to your room at 8:30 in a mini picnic basket. Our breakfast had a soft boiled egg, juice, granola, and a warm scone. These details added a unique charm to our experience. We had a hard time leaving, wish we could have stayed longer. If you’re looking for a unique experience this hotel is for you. 11/10 would recommend.

Be careful not to hit your shin on the bed frame. Otherwise, nothing we didn’t like.
