The owner was super friendly and gave recommendations where to go eat and what to see. the room had everything one needs, the bathroom was pretty clean, and the free breakfast was pretty good and handy. Location was also great as it was close to the hanok village, to the main road and the supermarket. I guess it was everything you might want from a hostel.

The whole building reeked of mould. Most people won't care, but i'm allergic, and it made me worried i'm gonna get sick. Luckily, i was there only for 2 nights. The problem is that the room and bathroom were truly clean, and it wasn't coming from the aircon either. It is probably in the walls, so there is no escape. For the offer, the price was a bit high, as you can get hanok room cheaper and probably in even a better location - for which i opted out as a solo female traveler, knowing hanok rooms usually don't have locks.

location is good, near bus stop, walking distance to the hanok village and other point of interest. clean, good breakfast and very kind hosts.

the bathroom was really small and you couldn’t take any clothes inside without it getting wet if you use the shower.

Comfy bed and very cosy. Great shower pressure and spotlessly clean everywhere. Quiet a night. 10 min walk to Hanok village, 15 min drive away from train station or 5 mins away from the bus terminal. Breakfast was fine, you could help yourself to tea and coffee, eggs and toast with butter and jam. Definitely saves you having to go out and find something for breakfast. Close to 7 eleven and a big supermarket called Homeplus. We stayed 2 nights and thought this was a great amount of time!

Not sure if it’s a Korean thing but we only got small hand size towels and no large size towels for your body!

Our host was most impressive. Friendly and helpful. Quietly available to assist guests with local knowledge, navigating Korean life with ease (apps, buses, trains, taxis, directions). Guests are invited to enjoy eggs, toast, tea and coffee, and orange juice for breakfast. It is a lovely way to start the day and chat with other guests. Check-in - Our host accommodated our late arrival. The location is perfect. Quiet, close to main attractions, lots to explore on your doorstep. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Bed was also comfortable. We would definitely stay again. The guesthouse has a homely, welcoming feel.

Everything was excellent.

One of the few places in Korea with almost propper bedding, like a duvet cover, which makes sleeping really comfortable. Clean, quiet and compact room..Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast area with good coffee. Hanock village within walking distance. Ps: Don't miss the cool semi-secret cocktail bar 100m away on the same street.

Just some minor things; It is a little far from the main bar/restaurant area next to the village, still walkable but it takes 20 minutes or so. No real cosy place to hang out in the evening to meet othe travelers, as the outside "roof top" area is compleatly view less.

Easy to find. Friendly and informative staff. Nice breakfast selection for a hostel. We very much enjoyed being able to fry up our own eggs in the morning. Spacious room. Nice and light decor. Bed and room was OK clean.

Mattress was incredible hard and not comfortable at all. No shower cabin in the bathroom, so everything was soaking wet after (and all things had to be removed before showering). Towels were TINY but at least they gave you plenty. Walls and ceilings was screaming for a fresh coat of paint - even though the room was clean - the marks on the walls really did give a dirty vibe.

Charming and clean hostel, a home away from home. We loved everything about this place, especially the early check-in, well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and breakfast. The kind owner is welcoming and helpful with directions. There are convenience stores and good local eateries nearby which you can search on Kakao or Naver. Better than a hotel stay which can be impersonal.

No elevator to third floor. May be challenging for those with mobility issues but probably you can request to stay on the lower floors.

The property is situated in a very good location, a brief 5 minute walk from the popular Hanok village. The place offers free breakfast, and the owner is exceptionally kind. The owner recommended some restaurants around to eat at and popular touristy areas. He also held my friend and I’s luggage, even after we checked out. 10 out of 10 customer service!

The bathroom door is pretty much see-through, there is a large gap between the door and the walls which can make it uncomfortable to use.

I stayed in a room with a double bed and a private bathroom with a lock on the door, and this was one of the most spacious and comfortable hostel rooms I’ve stayed in while in South Korea! While I was traveling with only a backpack, this is a room where you could probably open a suitcase in. They allowed me to check in a little earlier since the room for my two night stay was cleaned already. The owner was exceptionally kind. His English is very good, and when he figured out I could understand Korean, we had a really lovely conversation where he recommended me delicious restaurants all over Jeonju and where I could get a discount by showing the hostel’s business card. The bean sprout soup and bimbimbap places he recommended were some of the most delicious food I’ve had on my trip so far! The room itself came with a television, mini fridge, ample towels, bottled water, a hairdryer, and basic bathroom amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste. AC worked great in the hot South Korean summer. Simple complimentary breakfast of toast and eggs (you fry them yourself with the provided pans and oil), coffee and juice. This all came at a great, affordable price!

While there were enough outlets to charge all my devices, their location was at the foot of the bed under the TV. Not a big deal at all, but just a little bit inconvenient.

E.X.C.E.P.T.I.O.N.A.L we will never thank the host and his wife enough, they made our stay absolutelly unforgetable. Sure the bed are not as comfy as other, rooms are small (like really small) and there is no LIFT/ELEVATOR (which we did not know and it was a bit problematic as we had really heavy suitcases) but we managed thanks to the host. The Hanok village is 15 minutes walk, shops are close by, restaurants too, and again ... the hosts are probably the most helpful and sweet people we met in South Korea ! Thank you from the bottom of our heart !

- everything that could be seen as "negative" is insignificant when you see how the hosts are helping us making sure everything was ok
