The owner is very kind and hospitable. He responds quickly, can speak good english. There was a time when my husband’s tummy was upset and he was kind enough to even go up to our floor and provide the place where we can buy medicine and what type of medicine should we buy. The location is superb as it is near namsan and myeongdong center. The uphill was not a problem for us since my kids are grown ups and we enjoy outdoor walking. The family room is beg enough for 4 travellers. Will surely come back!

Ideal location as a base for exploring Seoul. Myeongdong is nearby, so there are plenty of choices where to eat, the subway is close and the historical centre is not so far away either.

You can hear other guests thru thin walls. The room wasn't cleaned well after the previous guest. I found a few half-empty bottles and other garbage almost everywhere in the room, where it was possible to hide it.

A really nice location, even tho you need to go uphill from metro station, this quiet place and Namsan park nearby really worth it. Friendly english-speaking owner, comfortable kitchen, everything was good for this price.

if you book this you need to be aware that there is someone on location only in the afternoon to check people in and you're on your own the rest of the time.

We really liked the location - a short walk to Myeongdong station and markets but far enough from the action to be quiet. It is up a short but steep hill, and the rooms are upstairs, so not a good option if you have difficulties with mobility. The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and there was a shared kitchen downstairs where you could store and prepare food. The mattress was very firm (as they were in most places we stayed in South Korea).

There were no chairs or a table in the room so if we wanted to sit at a table to eat or work, we had to go downstairs to the kitchen, and there was nowhere to sit except the bed.

The owner and also the place. It is very near to Muslim restaurant, Namsan Tower and also subway Station (myeongdong exit 3). The room is clean, conducive and nice. I like it.😊

The guesthouse is located up at the hill as the name 😅. But it is fine for young people and others who love to hike.

This is a very reasonably-priced guest-house in an excellent location. The proprietor was enormously friendly and helpful.

It was great! The location is very near everything. We basically just walked to the cable car for the Seoul tower destination. Down the hill is immediately the subway station line 4, exit 3. Myeongdong market is just across the exit 3. Many restaurants in the area, if you want convenience store only they also have. There’s water that you can get for drinking in the main hall. The host is very kind. Overall, our stay is awesome!

I guess the walk uphill was bit challenging for us after a long day walk… but it’s a good exercise though.

Great value for money. The room (2P) was a bit bigger than expected, and it had a well-sized window to open. It was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom. The location is superb (even though it's on a hill, which is no issue for a fit backpacker).

The only thing I didn't like were stomping noises, which can easily wake up a light sleeper through earplugs in the morning. On just one occasion they almost certainly came from the room directly above but were very brief. The majoirty of noise might have come from another room on the same floor (close to the staris), or perhaps even the next building...

The location is really good, just few steps away from Myeongdong, near subway and many resto and convenience store nearby. The hotel owner is very accommodating and very responsive. The cable car going to NSeoul Tower I s walking distance from the guesthouse.

Everything about the guesthouse and the owner itself is really good. The only thing I didn't like the place is the uphill going to the guesthouse, it's very tiring esp..if you have so many luggages to bring with you going to the guesthouse.
