loved the clean modern rooms and the availability of filtered water and ice in room area. pool staff were excellent and lifeguard very helpful. shower was excellent and bed was comfortable.

the noise from the street at 2.30am on some nights woke me up. food outlet across the road. the air conditioning was poor and did not cool the room down. couldn’t have window open at night due to noise outside so was very warm at times.

This was one of the best hotels we’ve been so far! Staff is amazing and helpful. There was variety of breakfast/dinner options (we had half board but I’m sure lunch was good as well). Hotel is part of the “wave of change” and very sustainability, eco-oriented - providing unlimited filtered water in hallways to be filled in the glass bottles. Swimming pool area is spacious and has enough sun beds and nice restaurant for afternoon snacks/drinks. SPA area is highly recommended for massages or facial treatments. Beach is nearby hotel, 5 min walk. Highly recommended is boat excursion Volcanocean that can be scheduled directly from the hotel - we saw whales, dolphins and one turtle, it was amazing experience. Recommendation to visit El Teide volcano.

No drinks are included for dinner, not even water, it is 2.95 EUR for bottle of filtered water which basically comes from the same filter you can use for free, so I really do not understand that policy. Hotel should reconsider to give water for free for dinner.

The exceptional attention to guests demonstrates the high level of training they receive. The hotel provides relaxation with lots of tiny touches that add to the wonderful experience there.

There was only 1 issue which the staff did their best to rectify and that was in the upgrade Prestige there were a lot of guests who put towels on loungers and then disappeared for the whole morning. It would provide a better service if they were to remove the towels after 2 hours.

amazing design and interior - beds are beyond comfortable - service and staff from cleaners to bar staff to management are so friendly and can’t do enough to make your stay perfect! high quality in every which way!

the usual hotel culture of ‘people reserving sun beds at 7am and not using them’ needs to be addressed

Greeted on arrival with a complimentary drink which was nice. We chose to have a few more drinks whilst we waited to check-in. Luis behind the bar was very friendly! Breakfast was nice with a vast selection of food items, fresh juices and hot drinks. Food around the pool bar was nice but quite expensive. Diego served us and was very friendly and chatty! Room was cleaned each day was beautiful.

The shower leaked into the small corridor to the room each time despite our best efforts to ensure the shower door was closed. We ended up putting our towels on the floor as it was completely soaked! Some guests get up early in the morning to put towels on sunbeams and reserve them for the day. This was frustrating on the days we chose to go out to explore in the morning and come back to the hotel in the afternoon as most of the beds were taken.

Everything, with one relatively minor concern about the temperature of some food dishes.

Whilst the food selection and service were of a 5 star standard, unfortunately, a lot of the food was not maintained at a hot enough temperature.

Breakfast was fabulous and had a lot of variety. There was a special dish corner every day. The fruits and fresh juices were my highlight. We booked the Star Prestige option which was definitely worth it. We had a priority check in and they let us park in the staff parking for the first night which was so convenient for us after a whole day of travelling. Star Prestige and Non Star Prestige Pool areas were immaculate! The room was very clean and I have to highlight the housekeeping! I have never had better housekeeping in any hotel. They came several times to make sure we had fresh towels the mini bar was restocked (free for star prestige) and they put a mini praline chocolate for both of us every day. The attention to detail was amazing. Although it’s high season it was so relaxing at the pool areas it didn’t feel overcrowded at any point.

The only minus point is having to queue in the morning to have a sun bed at the star prestige pool area. When you pay the extra you expect to have the facilities and not have to queue if you don’t have the facilities you should reduce the star prestige room numbers. That did not feel Star Prestige at all. There was one staff member who pretended to check the timing for the sun beds that were taken but the people actually never returned and he never did anything about it although he claimed he would take away the towels. Other guests claimed that that was done better in the previous years and it was more fair.

Following no holiday for two years we decided to stay for 4 weeks at the Iberostar Sabila in Costa Adeje. To miminise the covid risk we chose a 5 star adults only hotel.. We also upgraded to Star Prestige. This gave us dedicated pool areas on the 6th floor and around the main pool. Also rooms were on the 5th and 6th floors. The star service included an open bar from 10.30 - 6.00pm and snacks. If you can afford it upgrade to Star Prestige. Could not fault the cleanliness the hotel, guest areas were cleaned on a regular basis, including sun beds, tables and walkways. The room was kept spotless. We also had to wear masks in the hotel. Staff also wore masks. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was vast with a wide choice of good quality food. The hotel is in a perfect location for access to the restaurants, shops and beachfront. Overall well recommended and we will return.

The nearby hotels have outside entertainment which can go on until 11.00pm, so if you like an early night or are a light sleeper this could be an issue. There can also be noise in the hotel corridors into the early hours with guests returning to their rooms.We had the evening buffet once, but is quite expensive euro 35. The hot food was luke warm so improvements could be made there.

Thought the whole property was absolutely stunning, amazing attention to detail and really enjoyed the breakfast!

I didn’t think the pillows were very comfortable. You were given an option of two types that didn’t go well on top of eachother so couldn’t find much comfort.

Breakfast was excellent - huge choice, fresh produce & the staff were always so friendly and helpful. The pool area was lovely, although the hotel was much busier than I’d expected for March and we still had to get up early to secure a sunbed, despite there being loads around the pool. Our room was a standard double and was very modern with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was fab, with two sinks and a separate toilet & enclosed shower within the room. The hotel smells amazing, there was always a lovely aroma in reception and on the lower floor but I forgot to ask what it was. The location is great, with a private side exit to the beach, it takes approx 2 mins to get there. Or if you leave by the front entrance, you can walk for 1 min before getting to bars & shops. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful & it was a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. We will definitely stay there again.
