The property is situated in an enormous park with walkways in various directions along a river. The hotel can with some investment be fantastic. The outside areas let it down a bit. The rooms are very big and the dog was welcome.

The hotel is VERY Spanish with only a couple of personnel speaking a little English. They don’t serve dinner until 8.30-9pm and there are no options for a snack. Breakfast is limited and best is you are early as it is not supplemented for late arrivals. The hotel have a lot of stairs and no lifts so you will have to carry your own luggage.

The hotel is set within the pine forest and is isolated which for us was lovely. Wonderful views from the terrace and some nice walks. We particularly enjoyed walking along the river path with a number of watermills along the route - just fabulous on a sunny spring morning. Our room was spacious and clean. There are no lifts so all upper rooms are accessed by the stairs. The furnishings in our room were a little tired but we slept well. An interesting hotel that we enjoyed. It has some charm and character. It would not suit those travellers who are seeking luxurious, contemporary furnishings. Breakfast is help yourself style - basic cereal, bread, jams are available and you can request scrambled eggs etc. All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant, professional and helpful. We enjoyed our one night stay pre returning to the airport.

Called the hotel to see if they could reserve a taxi for us to Seville and they did graciously. When we arrived the staff knew of our request. Taxi came on time and we paid the metered rate. The rooms were super clean, the views from this hilltop hotel were very pretty. It is surrounded by pine trees and overlooks a gulch which has a hiking path. You can see the whitewashed houses of the town set up along the hillside beyond. There is a large veranda on one side of the hotel where you can enjo the view. Did not have time for anything but breakfast. But, the buffet style breakfast offered a tasty variety of choices.

There is cold bottled water available, but the kitchen is only open for breakfast and dinner (10:00 pm)

A superb location, so peaceful and relaxing. All of the saff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. All of our requests were met instantly. E.G. Our room was some way from the reception area but the staff on reception( different people on arrival and departure ) did not hesitate to transfer our luggage from the room directly to the boot of the car in the private car park Good selection for breakfast and reception made a booking for us at a very interesting restaurant in town, despite it being Sunday evening when the majority were closed. Will certainly return in the future.

The addition of a lift, while difficult in a building of this type, would be a major asset. However, see comments reference staff assistance.

Beautiful location, this small town is idyllic and within easy trip by car to Sevilla. The hotel offers good and peaceful premises to stay with children and relaxing for the travelers with pets, and there is a swimming pool. Tasty plentiful breakfast, nice restaurant to have dinner. We arrived late after the restaurant was closed, but the staff heated for us pizzas to take to the room. Most kind! Easy parking. The air conditioning worked well in the hottest summer season.

The hotel building is spacious and elegant, but our corner room was a bit stuffy and we could see the garbage dump from our window. But all in all, this was a minor minus in our otherwise pleasant stay.

However this hotel is set up for events, with poor offering for customers wanting normal hotel amenities plus poor parking on last night gave it a negative report from us.

The hotel was stunning. Built in 1929 this hotel is immaculate. Location has beautiful scenery and lovely river walk way. Situated a few minutes from town on a hill over looking the city. Very quite, great views. Room had 2 balconies. Priced very reasonably.

Location and ground are fabulous, green spaces, a big river, lots of walks! They provide dog treats for your dog on check in!

€10 supplement for dogs is a bit excessive. There were hairs on the floors in my room and not enough blankets for winter. Only 1 single sheet as a blanket on the bed.
