Hotel Infante Antequera

Our double room was spacious and clean. We had a very comfortable double bed, and the bathroom and shower were excellent. Great view too. And although the pool may be small, it's on a lovely terrace and it's a nice place to relax and get some sun.

Our air conditioner could barely get the room below 28 or 29 degrees, and so we struggled to sleep. The staff worked hard to try to fix it, but eventually they had to move us to another room with an AC unit that worked properly.

All the staff there were very helpful and friendly. There was always someone on reception even through the night. Fantastic location right in the middle of the town, very close to the Alcazaba (worth a visit). We were offered 2 choices of parking - private in a garage nearby or in a public car park. We chose the former and the owner accompanied us there to make sure we found it ok. The room was fabulous - a good size with a fridge and tea/coffee making which is unusual in Europe. The room looked out onto the street and the square with a small balcony and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fine - they supplied me with some gluten free bread at short notice and there was fresh fruit/yogurt/ham/cheese etc. We were fortunate to be in Antequera over Semana Santa and saw some incredible processions and we would highly recommend this hotel to stay in over that period or at any time. In summary a lovely experience.

Somewhere to put toiletries in the bathroom would have been nice. Otherwise nothing!

The hotel is next to a beautiful open square with chairs to enjoy being outside and people watching. You are two blocks from the tourist information office where a wonderful staff person gave us many suggestions and things to see and do. A few blocks away is a busy street with interesting shops and restaurants. The outdoor terraces at this hotel are spacious with comfortable chairs and good views. Our hotel room was smaller. The bed was great.

The shower is very small.

The location was perfect, and access to free parking was very helpful. Despite our room facing a square with multiple restaurants, and having multiple churches, the room was dead silent throughout the nights. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, even helping us find a laundromat that was open on Sunday evening.

Everything was great.

The hotel is great and probably the best quality/price ratio I have ever seen in the last years. The location is perfect, close to the main attraction in Antequera (La Alcazaba). They have a really nice terrace with a swimming pool where you can drink a beer and see the sunset. I really recommend this hotel. The room was comfortable and the shower was great.

A bit noisy due a windy day, but nothing relevant to be honest.

My booking was a last minute one and I needed an extra day in the end also and the hotel were so very accommodating and kind. The location is excellent, on one of the loveliest plazas in the town and the views across the plaza and up to the castle are stunning. I will definitely be staying again. Thank you for being so kind during what was a visit for very sad reasons.

Modern-style hotel room, nice size room, comfy bed, and best - memory foam pillows! My room had a nice little terrace with a view of the pool and the Alcazaba above on the hillside. The staff were very friendly all the time. Breakfast was ok - about the same or better selection/options than you may find at local places but more convenient than going out and trying to find something.

Comfortable small hotel in a good location with free parking close by. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value, including the tasty breakfast. The pool was an added bonus!

Maybe a another umbrella or two by the pool. We couldn’t stay long in the heat as the only two umbrellas were already taken.

Nice location, in the proximity of shops and restaurants. You can start a nice sightseeing walk from there to enjoy the views. Room big enough and clean. Staff really nice and helped us with everything (parking spot, where to order food for takeaway, eating in the breakfast room etc.) It's handy that you can buy water or soft drinks at the reception.

The staff were very accomodating! I couldn't make it on my first day of the booking as I was feeling unwell so the hotel offered us a day after our booking ,which was incredibly nice of them . Lovely room with a functioning AC and a great shower and views from the balcony . Comfortable bed and well stocked fridge . Thank you and happy new year !
