This is a super, inexpensive hotel. It is situated on a lovely square adjacent to the historic part of town, while also convenient for shops and restaurants etc. It has been completely renovated, and although the quality of the fittings is reflected in the price, everything works well and it is immaculately clean. Thoughtful touches to help to ensure a low noise level include carpeted corridors and spring assisted heavy doors which close quietly. I had asked for a quiet room (for five nights) and I had by far the best sleep in my three weeks in Spain. The new modern bathroom was well appointed with good lighting and plenty of hooks and a very hot shower working perfectly. Other nice touches were the microwave in the large sitting room for the use of guests, and the nicely decorated little interior patio area. I think that the owners have tried to create a welcoming and comfortable hotel, and have succeeded. Very highly recommended in its price range

A simple chair in bedroom would be useful

This is a lovely little hotel in a fabulous location! The rooms are basic but nice, very quiet and clean, with incredible views of the Alcazaba from the balcony looking on to the square. There is no option for breakfast at the hotel, but the bar beside the hotel does a good breakfast. Also there is a communal room with a microvave and a communal courtyard space for smoking. If you're looking for value for money and the perfect spot to stay a few days to explore Antequera, this is it! We will definitely come back here again!

It would have been good to have a small refrigerator in the room, or some long-life milk... and coffee! The bedside lighting is far too bright!!!

The clerk was very helpful in helping me get a parking space near the hotel (when his shift ended I took HIS space). That saved me lots of time and stress as I had to leave quite early to catch a flight. There is a free parking area about 200 meters downhill from the hotel, by the way. I recommend pulling up to the hotel, offload your bags, leave them at reception and then park....the receptionist can direct you to where the parking is.

Only negative (and ever so slight, really) was some other room having the TV on just loud enough that my getting to sleep required earplugs (which I habitually carry anyway).

The check in and welcome at this hotel was great. The woman at the counter had no English and we have only very basic Spanish but we managed to check in with no difficulty whatsoever using google translate. The parking was a little bit complicated (mostly because the streets of Alora are mostly one way and a bit complex) but the hotel provided us with a Google link that made navigating to the parking super easy. The rooms were large and comfortable and included by far the largest bathroom we encountered on our 6 week trip around Morocco and southern Europe. They also had a lovely view out across to a square and church. The location was excellent with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and just a short walk up to the view points, castle, cathedral and other great points of interest. We really enjoyed the stay here and would recommend this hotel as comfortable, great location and excellent value for money.

Very reasonably priced hotel in the heart of town. Rooms were clean, although compact, bathroom modern and staff helpfull. Well maintained hotel in an excellent location. Although breakfast was not available, there were cafes providing it right next to the hotel. And many restaurants. In advance, we were slightly conserned about church bells, but they were stopped during the night, so no issues there.

Wifi and also mobile network didn't really work inside the hotel (thick walls?). Outside coverage was ok. Parking was not available when we arrived, but within 10 min walking there was a parking area (15 euros or so per night).

We absolutely loved this hotel! The location was fabulous, right opposite the church and below the castle. The room was beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean and with a fantastic view of the Plaza and church. The bed was huge and very comfortable. There was a kettle and teabags which was also very handy. The bathroom was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The hotel itself is really classy, it has a lovely atmosphere and everywhere is clean and fresh. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here next time I visit Antequerra.

Central location, super quite room due to the fact it didn't have a great view which meant it didn't overlook a busy street. Had secure storage room for bags and bicycles that was very helpful for us!

Located in Plaza San Sebastian, the hotel is located in a charming square and outside the front door is the beautiful church of San Sebastian. Its location allows for easy access to walk up the hill to see the Alcazaba and explore the upper town. I could get to most places I wanted to visit in Antequera in 10 - 20 minutes walking. The staff were friendly and helpful. For example, I asked for recommendations on the best restaurant in Antequera and the front desk attendant marked up a town map with five potential restaurants and their locations relative to the hotel. I also arrived in the morning and was allowed to check in early with no additional charge. This is not a glamorous hotel but I don't travel to stay in my room. My room was plenty large and did not feel cramped - I've had much smaller rooms in more expensive hotels. It was inexpensive and clean with comfortable beds and a great location. It met all my requirements and expectations. A convenience store is next door so I could buy water without going looking for it, and just adjacent to that is the Cafeteria Bar Chicon where I enjoyed an excellent Spanish breakfast just after I checked in early in the morning.

For the price, there was nothing for me to dislike. But if you seek a luxury hotel, this is not it. One small nit is that my room did not have a refrigerator, so I could not store a bottle of water to keep cool overnight.

Fantastic location right in the centre of Antequera within walking distance of the castle. Located in a beautiful square & nearby was a fantastic little bistro Loulu that served gorgeous tapas. Staff were so helpful & kindly booked me a taxi to the train station the next day. Would highly recommend this hotel & town!

Nothing. Fantastic stay at a very cheap rate.

It was a really nice little hotel, my bed was super comfy, they moved my room so I had a window opening to the patio, shower had lots of hot water, and it was quiet.

Their dining room had no plates, paper towels or napkins, cups, nothing. The room had a kettle for hot water and tea bags but no mugs or anything to drink it in. (Plastic cups were provided) And the toilet paper was rough and each piece came out individually. That was weird.
