The location was perfect, lovely quiet hotel, the spa was so relaxing at quiet a good cost compared to spas in Ireland. The indoor pool was lovely and I was surprised to see how quiet it was in the morning loads of spaces to chill, by 12 noon we moved to the sun loungers out on the deck to get the sun and there was still lots of availability. Great music at night with a full band. The buffet for breakfast had so much options. On àrrival we were given a glass of wine, and the hotel dropped champagne and a small cake to my room when they notice my birthday date from scanning my passport. We really wanted to relax for a few days, one night we traveled to Puerto del Carmon which is a lot more lively, the ride cost €20 in a taxi and was 10 minutes away. The area around the hotel is quiet...the beach is amazing and you have the option of renting loungers for the beach. It was such a fabulous hotels views from the 17 floor cafe was amazing. Will 100% return

Nothing it was amazing

It’s central location, not in a resort but a living city - the carnival was taking place. Yet still has a pool and sun deck, and close to a beach, and the pedestrian/cycle way you can take traffic-free all the way to the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen. “Intercombiador” subsidiary bus station is close by for cheap and easy travel. Lovely food (but the evening buffet could be served earlier). Our 11th floor suite was a knockout.

Stunningly designed as it is, our suite only provided 1.5m of shelving pp for our clothes and footwear and 1m of hanging space for us both. The full length window between the shower and spacious bathroom is a clever way of providing natural light but at the expense of privacy for a number 2. Also light from the bathroom shines into the bedroom, disturbing your spouse when you rise in the night. Would have included a photo but my wife was taking a shower. A curtain or blind would solve the problem.. You get to know your fellow guests intimately in the busy lift. It stimulates conversation!

Background music at buffet breakfast and often in the pool area was quite awful. Management seem to have an obsession with jazz music and sometimes quite loud. We did all our eating in the hotel never anywhere outside we felt the bar meals at pool and floor 17 could be better although an excellent Pizza by pool and always larger than needed helpings there

The hotel was absolutely lovely. Room was spacious with seating area, clean and well presented. Breakfast wonderful, I don’t mind a buffet selection, this one was super! yes the lifts are at times slow but I have legs and relatively fit so I enjoyed the exercise! Hotel was wonderfully situated next to a well cleaned beach and cafe/restaurants/shops within a walking distance.

Blue 17 restaurant -service at times slow and food wasn’t special. the other restaurant was expensive , bit over rated but lovely setting and relaxed atmosphere.

I had a fantastic time in this hotel, the location, the room and the food were great. I had great night sleep and I enjoyed the bars, restaurants and the hotel comfort. it was a lucky choice for me and I would go back if I ever visit Lanzarote again

the lift was the only disappointment, for such massive hotel, they have only 3 small and slow elevators, people wait for good 20-30 min to get the lift to the upper floors. I hope the management look into this

We stayed on the dinner, B&B option and it was good value and quality. The staff were so lovely and able to accommodate a specific request for my 1 and 4 year old which was not included in the buffet. The hotel room was lovely and my daughter particularly liked the curtains opening when you entered the room. We had drinks at dinner, pool bar and at front bar and all were really nice and drink prices reasonable for hotel and quality.

The fact the pool was indoors so we would only stay a few days.

Fabulous view - just as I had hoped. Room spacious and well laid out, lovely decorations and facilities. Really felt luxurious and comfortable. My teenage children LOVED it, esp the automatic blinds! Hotel pool was gorgeous. Restaurant food excellent. Views from 17th floor bar exceptional. All staff helpful and friendly. Very accommodating and hospitable. Well worth the money - felt like a real treat. Also a few steps from a very pleasant beach, which you can look at from the (covered) pool terrace, or walk to for a swim.

The special restaurant was terrible - the head waiter rude the food not good and very disappointing as saved this for our last night as it was advertised as being special - the hotel needs to sort this out

Great location, around 7-10 minutes away from Arrecife Airport. Loved how there was a small beach just outside the hotel too! Also massive thank you to Alex for being so sweet/helpful upon my arrival, he recommended places to go and what to do within the hotel. Another thank you to Veronica (think that was her name) and Hugo as well, fantastic service overall.

The lifts often took ages! There was one night where I tried to get to the bar (on 17th floor) and it took me all the way down to 0, whilst stopping at every single floor between 7 and 0. 🤪

The Alarz restaurant was excellent, as was the buffet area for breakfast. The swimming pool was fine and we enjoyed the Eric Clapton tribute band who were warming up while we were swimming! On leaving, when our hire car failed to be delivered, Khalid was very helpful and found out what the problem was.

In a hotel of this class, the lifts were really poor – not big enough, not enough of them, and with a bizarre algorithm that caused them frequently to miss out the floor where we had called for the lift.
