Axel is an amazing host and he re-designed the whole place with such sense of taste in Interiors. The communal area is very cozy and the perfect spot to have breakfast, which has been carefully prepared by the host and could be purchases on premises for an on-spot price! I loved the small pool, where you can take a dip in the early morning to wake you up, a cold plunge always works! The exterior spaces and garden are kept in immaculate conditions following the Lanzarote’s standards of beauty. I will definitely be back to Magma rooms, can’t wait for my next stay. Thank you Axel!

The bathroom key is placed in your room, but it took me good 10 minutes to understand which one was the bathroom and how to get in as it was not written in the welcome sheet. It was probably me as I did self check-in at 2am, but for future guests it could help to have a note about how to use the bathroom downstairs.

The Place was amazing! Unfortunately we stayed only one night and had to catch a flight early in the morning, but we felt really comfortable. It is super nice designed and super clean!! (And I usually rarely consider a room to be clean :D) Also it is a very good price. We had a 3 bed room that cost us the same amount or less than other places around the island that have been way less fancy. On the surroundings I cannot tell much, but Playa Honda is bigger than we thought, we passed by several nice looking Cafés, a big supermarket and the beach is also not far away. One thing that we also noticed very briefly, that there have been offers on tours and other things in the hallway, for people that did not rent a car this might be a big plus. :) We can highly reccomend the place! ☺️

The doors are a not super sound isolated, so you hear if someone else comes home. For us this was not an issue, but as a light sleeper it might be. But other than that we did not hear the other guests or the music from the living room. Also we had a room on the ground floor, maybe on the 1st floor you would not hear anything at all and you could ask for one of those. :)

The hotel advertises an airport shuttle. Upon booking and then requesting the shuttle I was informed that it didn't operate early enough for a 7am flight but a taxi would be no problem. Once we arrived the manager said he could call us a taxi so that we would be picked up at 5:15. This taxi never arrived and as a result we almost missed our flight. We were lucky enough to find a taxi on the street. Despite numerous phone calls and text messages we felt the manager left us on our own at that early hour. He finally responded to our contact attempts about 6 hours later placing blame on the taxi company.

Brilliant shared facilities, room and amenities. Wifi superb - 3 different routers across rooms and floors. The best bathroom and shower I've had in years. TV had no English channels but this wasn't expected, just an observation. Would definitely come back due to proximity to the airport - 20 minute walk to the terminal along the shared cyclepath/footpath along the highway. 2 nights was just about right.

There wasn't anything wrong with the property. Perhaps having a coffee machine in the bedroom could be an idea. Location was fairly quiet despite being near the end of the airport runway, but there were flights in early hours that woke us up.

Rooms are very well thought through. Nothing was not thought of or left to chance - for that i have much respect. Chosen materials good quality and matched. Light switches, hooks, lighting, trash bins, electrical outlets and so on were conveniently placed/located. Textiles were top-notch from clean towels and sheets to the comfy cushions for the outdoor seating. Blackout curtains, wow (THANK YOU for considering our sleep quality)! Complementary items that made the overall stay practically comfortable so it's almost impossible to not feel relaxed. The entire house and area felt secure and our host was just so helpful and lovely. Thanks for having us.

The location was great and it was very easy to reach. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They gave me directions and tips for the nicest restaurants and other recommendations. Everything is well arranged and perfectly clean. Also the place is very nicely decorated. I stayed here for the last two nights as it is very close to the airport, but ended up really liking to stay in this place. Playa Honda is also quite nice, with some nice restaurants and a quiet beach. Also, when I asked for an airport shuttle, they were able to arrange it for the next day, and I arrived at the airport timely.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place, but I just did not expect this to be more of an hotel, which just isn't my personal preference. The place is decorated homy, but the lobby is mostly just a lobby. I felt somewhat uncomfortable chilling or eating in the common area or at the pool when the place was being cleaned, and felt I was expected to leave.

5 stars place, cured in all details, room design and style, towels an superconfort mattress, u can choose your cushions style !!! supercozy garden with swimming pool, stylish dinner room with sofa amd many books, perfect and abundant breakfast. 30 min walking to the airport on a safe cycle/foot path. in the center of the island so it can be a base to visit all the island. Playa Honda is a super nice local village, with elegant and good restaurants on the beautiful big beach, totally different style from playa del carmen or playa blanca (no trash shop or junk food restaurant) Thank you to the super professional and gentle Magma managers

I booked this property as a last minute place for my elderly mother and her friend to stay as they had missed their flight and it was very close to the airport. I rang the property to let them know the two ladies would be arriving about 9pm, the staff were so friendly and helpful. They were treated very kindly and said that the place was beautiful and spotlessly clean, the staff booked a taxi for them for the next morning back to the airport. Thank you for looking after them as they were both very stressed after missing their flight and they felt very comfortable in your hotel.

If you are looking for a room near the airport, Magma is quite perfect. Although it is not really close to the beach, they have two bicycles and so you are quickly at the seaside. The seaside promenade is lovely, a nice area. Magma has a beautiful court, where you can relax. They offer to store the luggage after check-out. It is impeccably clean and check-in was easy.

We only stayed one night in Magma room (literally to sleep before our flight the next day) so this review reflects a one night experience: the place is super tidy, pratical and clean, nicely decorated! Staff also really friendly and helpful. Loved that it was a 5min drive to the airport which made it easy for us.

The only downside for us was the noise: evidently next to the airport and a pretty big highway (but it quiets down during the night thankfully), and we also got to enjoy our neighbor’s very loud snoring the whole night.. This is a personal preference but the pillows were a little too hard and big to our taste, I slept without mine.
