Incredible location in the gothic quarter. Balcony that opens up above the tight narrow streets. Just off a main street so felt safe at night and early in the morning which is very appealing. Hotel staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in early when we arrived.

Room was quite small but had everything we needed (bathroom, desk, wardrobe, safe) and was great value for money.

Great location, comfortable room, quite spacious. Stay also included breakfast which meant we did not have to go out and find something to eat early. Breakfast was far better than we expected, lots of choice!

The property was great, despite seeing what I would now say are some unfair reviews we were extremely happy with our stay. The location was perfect for us, staff could not have been more welcoming, the air-con was great. Had seen reviews about the noise level but once the balcony doors were closed we didn’t hear a thing. We had fresh bedding and towels everyday. A nice little touch was the hotel keep your room keys when you leave the property so we had no chance of losing or forgetting them. Overall this was a pleasant stay and when we return to Barcelona we will book here again

The location is perfect. Free minutes to metro and Ramblas, close to beautiful Placa Reial, and just steps from charming streets od Barri Gotic. This Is the best location i have ever stayed in Barcelona. The hotel Is not big, staff very kind, polite and helpful. The room was small but cosy, window leading to inner court does not bring enough light. The bathroom was comfottable and very clean. The electricity asi well the heating was not working without room card and the room was quite cold, meaning when I returned after whole day spent outside, it was a bit cold inside. Thé breakfast was generous, lots od sweet pastry, juices, ham and cheese, fruits. I can recommend this place to anyone who really wants to enjoy thé city.

The location is very central, a few steps from La Rambla and hence from the Liceu metro stop (L3 - green) with which you can reach pretty much any part of the city including Sants train station if you ever need to take a high speed train, without needing to change metro line. Not much further you can reach Catalunya square which is also connected to the airport terminals via shuttle buses. The room was very clean when I arrived and was cleaned daily to a spotless condition. It was also silent considering the vicinity to a very crowded area. Soap, a clean large and regular towel, and a shower carpet were replenished every day. Breakfast is from 7.30 to 10.30 in the morning and offers both sweet and savory food as a self service buffet. Among other things you can toast your own bread and have several warm drinks like coffee with automated machines. To maintain social distance during the Covid pandemic every other canteen table was intentionally left empty. Due to the limited amount of tables available caused by this temporary situation I was asked if I preferred to have breakfast before or after 9, so they could better serve every guest. The checkout is at 12 on the last day of your stay and if needed you can leave your luggage at the reception, they will stash it in a room right behind the counter

During a rainy night I could hear the water dropping inside the skylight in the middle of the building (the opaque window of my room faced this empty space in the center of the structure which is meant to let natural light in. Keep in mind that the view from the window was not a problem for me since I feel that having had a window on the outer side of the building would have led to more noise). Due to the small size of the room some of the cleaning product used for the bathroom bleeded into the sleeping space and left it with an unpleasant smell, but I could solve it by remembering to keep the bathroom door closed. In a few occasions half used soap bars were taken away and replenished with new packed ones, which to me felt like a waste, but it only happened for the first two days.

The hotel is top notch. Everything is great, starting with the administration. The rooms are not very bright, but the room has everything, right down to the dressing room. very high quality bathroom accessories (shampoo, soap, gels). Breakfast buffet in a cozy restaurant. All service at the highest level!!! The hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona.

This place was great! I went with my son for his 20th birthday. Folks, you are in the heart of Barcelona. Smack in the old maze portion of town. We took a taxi from the airport and we’re dropped off a Block or so away. Short walk into the hustle and bustle. If you want action, shopping this is the place. The ocean is a short 15-20 minute walk. Great price for the room. Our room was clean and everything worked just fine. I’m looking to stay here again the next time I come out.

The room.and Hotel were spotlessly clean. The bed was relatively hard yet comfortable. The pillows were absolutely perfect. Breakfast was adequate for our needs and breakfast room very clean. Air-conditioning was very effective and quiet.

The decor was old and looked dated. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been good. A bar would have been nice for the evening too.

The hotel is located just off the busy Rambles and is close to local transport (L3), the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was basic but adequate. The breakfast room was small but again adequate with a reasonable breakfast selection. The hotel now benefits from lift access.

The hotel is looking dated, although reception area looks fresh and updated. Noise from nearby bars and cafes was an issue that caused disturbance in to the small hours.

the location is what makes the hotel great. it’s super close to the ramblas. the staff was very friendly the room was clean and cozy

the mattress was terrible. I could hear the inside spirals cracking every time I or my boyfriend turned around. it wasn’t comfortable. the hairdryer was a mess. didn’t work properly. i was able to blow dry my hair for 20 seconds and then I had to wait 10 min until it cooled down in order to use it again. it was loud at night. some weird people were making loud noises and screamed in the hallway.
