A small hotel in the center of Gothic quarter, on a perfect location for tourists! The service was amazing, everyone was so kind and generous! The rooms were a so clean and had everything you need. The WIFI was perfect and always reliable! All in all very happy with my stay at Hotel El Call!

The staff (receptionists and cleaners) were all very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent - in the centre of the old town (Barri Gotic). The hotel was very clean.

The general hotel facilities are very limited. My room was also very basic - with no window and was next to the lift (with some low level noise - but nowhere near as bad as I had feared). I am not complaining about any of this because I was informed about the situation beforehand, and my stay was very good. But the basic amenities and room mean that I cannot describe the hotel as excellent.

location was 10/10, staff were friendly and helpful, it was clean and well decorated, felt safe as someone was on reception 24/7, great for a city break

we only had windows that faced to other walls so no view of the outside and very little natural light, bedroom was a little bit small for the price

The location was in the Gothic Quarter close to many amazing sites! The staff provided great recommendations and were on-site 24 hours a day! It was a short longboard ride to the beach, and even shorter to La Rambla!

The walls are very thin, so I was lucky to have earplugs to sleep with. Most guests stayed out until 2 or 3 am and you could hear them walking around their rooms as well as shutting doors or watching television.

Perfect location, walking distance to many attractions and 2 metro lines. This was my second time at this hotel. Same staff as my first time in 2016. Staff is welcoming and assisted us with our questions as well as our restaurant reservations, also provided some tips on what to do around the city. Hotel rooms are clean and has basic amenities (hand soap and shower gel only). Secure - always has someone at the front desk to open the main door for you.

Hotel does not have a fridge which was not ideal for us. The rooms we got on the 3rd floor did not have a window opening to the outside, in fact you could barely open it. With the colours of the rooms painted in red, we felt slightly claustrophobic. Unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and we were unable to change rooms, despite our daily requests and seeing rooms freeing up. Also note that the rooms are not sound proof., especially if you are a light sleeper.

Location is good, central location for most known touristic locations. There are nice cafes and restaurants around the hotel and the metro station(green line) is close.

In general, every sound in the corridor was inside the room. The sound isolation of the walls and door were not so good. You can wake up in the night becuase of the sounds of other rooms or when someone walks on the corridors. I don't know there is any solutions for the walls (because it's an old building), but at least room doors can be more effective.

Interior room with no window or view really. Functioned perfectly for a place to sleep, shower and dress. But not a room to hang out in at all.

It was clean and nice, furniture was not old or broken. Really close to everything, so we haven’t used the transport card even once to move around. Staff were nice and let us leave our bags after we checked out.

the room is very small, which is fine for this neighbourhood. not critical. at night the neighbourhood looks pretty scary, plenty of “deviant individuals” around, strong smell of smoking substances on every corner. also, soundproofing is bad, so BRING SOME EARPLUGS WITH YOU and you’ll be fine, not critical

Location was great. Room was clean. Very convenient in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Room was very quiet...and dark.

The room had no windows to allow in natural light. The hotel did send me a message to let me know this after the booking was complete, and said I could receive a refund if I requested through booking. I just wish this would have been stated clearly in the room choice so I didn't have this surprise. In the end, I decided to keep the booking for the location.

The hotel’s location is really great, you are close to everything and can just walk around to popular attractions. The room was clean but a bit small, the staff was friendly and very nice, they kept our luggage with them after we checked out and let us use the washrooms to freshen up and change. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and if you are looking to stay somewhere central, this is a good place. Thank you! :)
