The best thing about this hostel is that it combines party and family, you can easily party with them because of the amazing everyday-plans and at the same time meet new people with the staff that are really friendly and make you feel like a family! Its more of a family-party-hostel that is not big so its not chaotic and you can get to meet everyone more than once when you hang out in the kitchen. I loved the idea of the curtains so you can have your privacy even if you are in a hostel. Also the hostel is quiet during the night because of there rules to keep everything quiet after 11 pm so you can have a relaxing sleep. The price is also really good compared to why they offer. All in all, it’s the best hostel I have ever been to and I would recommend it always to any solo traveler or to people who wanna meet new fun young people with a party vibe!

I loved the staff and the good vibes that welcome me from the first day. A smaller hostel than usual, but run by an amazing and dedicated staff that is there to make your stay comfortable and safe, full of entertainment and laughs, but always there to support you in case you need. A true family spirit. A big shout to Jona, for taking care of my comfort and well being during my stay, doing the best to help me to find items that I need and forgot, giving me the best eating tip in the neighborhood, went there several times after. Really nice talking with him and share the experiences from our travels. A second big shout to Cami, a lovely lady, who diligently took care of all the chores in her night shifts while taking care that everyone respects the sleeping rules after the night party. She is a great party leader and a great cook, while being very helpful with medicines for my back pain. Cheerful and good energy all around. A big thank you to the rest of the family: Captain, Berto, Lolo, Keri, Ilke, Chris. Sorry if I missed anyone.

Some guesses would live the window open during the night and in February can be quite chilly.

I would highly recommend onefam ramblas! It was a good location at the end of La Rambla, near Montjuic and the beach. It was close to public transportation and the gothic quarter which made things pretty accessible. The staff was super nice (especially Ylke and Chris, who particularly went out of their ways to make our time in Barcelona amazing)! They gave good recommendations and were super welcoming and helpful. The hostel was also great for meeting people as it provided free family dinner, group tours, and going to the bars and club with no cover as a group. We would totally stay there again or another onefam around the world!

It was definitely cleaned regularly, but there were some parts (like the sink area in the kitchen and the bathroom floors) that could be a little gross and could use a deep clean. Also, this was not a problem for us, but the walls are quite thin so you can hear a lot through them and people get back late at night and the rooms are a bit small, so it can be loud.

Staff was very friendly. They have me maps and earplugs (best thing is to have earplugs on your sleep!). That is a place to go if you're looking for party and high energy events. Pubcrawls are all included and you can easily get anywhere by bus.

Room was cold and it was winter, so it wasn't very comfortable to sleep. The blankets were super thin.

The staff in the hostel was really great, friendly and helpful and part of why it was a really great trip to Barcelona. Due to the daily activities it was so easy to meet other travellers and the free family dinner was always an amazing way to get to know each other and start the night right! I liked that the hostel was on the smaller side, so "family dinner" was actually a perfect description. Also there are free earplugs to grab and free coffee/tea in the morning to help get you up for the day, which is a small but really nice thing to have! Also: despite being able to be described as a "party hostel" the age range of guests wasn't just early 20ish but from 20 well into the 30s so a great mix if people!

The room was quite noisy cause, as others have stated, the 8 bed dorm is actually 16 beds. So way more frequency than I anticipated.

I highly recommend OneFam Ramblas -If you are new to the hostel life(like myself). You are welcomed and greeted by a friendly face, for me it was one of the awesome volunteers Lolo. Check-in is an absolute breeze and you are informed about the daily activities as well as how things work in the hostel. ( I’m obsessed with this place- honestly!!) The dorms are neat and tidy, you have your own “drawer” that can lock and the bathrooms are also clean! You are invited to participate in the daily activities (guided tours). You also have the option of joining in for family dinners (vegetarian) and I’d highly recommend you giving it a try! The nightlife is honestly a once in a lifetime experience and you don’t want to miss out on the awesome places they take you too!! You get to meet the sister hostels and it’s a awesome vibe, with people from all walks of life. I left with a sad heart, only because I wanted to stay longer!! I suggest going for a week , so that you can really experience this Real Family vibe they have. To each and everyone of the volunteers I have had an interaction with namely : Lolo ,Captain Chris,Jona,Keri,Cami,Berto, Chris and Dani Thank you for the laughs and unforgettable memories. I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can . I left feeling like I have my own family in Barcelona. Thank you all!!!

Everything! facilities are super nice and clean, the lockers are big and they also have a storage room if you need more space. Location is great, there is a bus station really close by (2 min walk) and a minimarket on the corner whenever you need anything. I definitely recommend it as a solo traveler, every night there are free family dinners where you can meet everyone and plenty of activities where you can socialize. The staff will make their bestest to make you feel as comfortable and secure as they can, they will always be reachable via whatsapp if you need help with anything. Overall, im sure everyone will have an awesome experience staying there. I wont hesitate to choose it anytime i go back to Barcelona.

The whole atmosphere, the activities that are organized, the dinners (some really good cookers there) and the games, the care for the well being of the guests. You always find a smile, a good word, a tip, there is good vibe all around. The rooms and the bathroom are clean every day, which always make you feel comfortable. I really liked that there are rules for when to party and when to be quiet and sleep. The check in done by Jona and the support throughput the stay was ease like a breeze, everyday I was asked how I was feeling, whenever I needed something, I was helped. It was really great! Thank you to the whole team: Jona, Captain, Cami, Berto, Lolo, Ilke, Keri, Chris...and the cleaning crew. for such a nice stay with you!

I loved the social area which is the first room you walk into , as it immediately looks fun and comfortable . It was right next to a supermarket , and a lovely walk away from the centre . It was so so clean , brilliant bathroom and shower , amazing facilities with towels being so cheap to rent , and Beer only being 1.50 . The staff were absulutely amazing , me and my friends genuinely miss them . In particular I want to say a big thank you to Ylke , who was so welcoming and helped us surprise our friend , and she was so up for it ! She told us everything we need to know and had such a welcoming personality she was amazing . And also Mateo who we became friends with over the two days and he was just amazing . So funny and up for a laugh , he had 25+ people following him when he was leading us all on a night out and he had it so organized . He was a great great guy . The other staff also Can’t go unmentioned as they added to the comfort of the place . This is a genuine review and I mean all of this . I definitely 100000% recommend staying here , couldn’t recommend it more !

Second time staying and here just very briefly! However a very pleasurable and comfortable experience. Dorm beds are excellent, cozy and comfortable. Location perfect. Great communal feel and they have events every night, dinner and bar crawls, walking tours etc. As a concept it's a very cool idea and it understands the fuller role of the hostel "experience" Staff are warm, professional and attentive, special shout out to Ylke who was very helpful and friendly during my last morning coffee, when about to leave for airport :) Anyway, as before, I strongly recommend this hostel and the chain in general.
