The full kitchen, friendly staff, the location, the beautiful decor and communal spaces. The included breakfast was a nice surprise. 24 hour reception is always helpful.

It was a little tricky to find at night as the location on google maps was a little bit off and the sign out the front wasn't easy to see at night.

This was one of the nicest experiences I've had in a hostel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bunk bed was private and comfortable. The bathrooms had enough space for everyone. The kitchen was well maintained and help-yourself breakfast was really nice. The location couldn't have been better. There were quiet areas in the hostel for spreading out in solitude and the kitchen area was friendly for meeting people. I can't say enough about the staff! They were awesome - they answered all my dumb questions with kindness and patience. I would definitely stay there again.

The only very minor thing I can think of was the room was in the back so it didn't have a great view. But, hey, you don't go to Barcelona to stay in your room, right??!!

Place with a great vibe, feels like home. Very close of the Sagrada Familia, the bed room very good .... Breakfast was a great surprise.

On very hot days it is boiling inside and doesn't have air conditioning.

It is a very homely hostel. We booked a private room with an attached bathroom, which suits our needs. There is a very nice shared kitchen and other common spaces where you could hang out. The breakfast spread is a good idea where you could prepare your own breakfast at a reasonable price. Not that many guests using the common area while we were there so it didn’t feel crowded. The reception staff was very helpful and she even helped me print some tickets without any fee. The location is not perfect but it’s walkable to some sightseeing locations and near to the metro stations if you prefer to use public transport.

We used the airport coach from the airport to the city center and had to walk about 30 minutes to reach this hostel. On our return journey, we chose to use the metro to go to the airport which I think is easier.

The place is very charming, with a lot of well-equiped common spaces. Everything is at hand and the location allows long walks to different parts of the city. The staff is really, really, really kind and at service all the time. Thank you for a warm welcome.

One little thing: the windows in common spaces are completely covered so that you cannot really see the sun, natural light and what is happening outside. Probably it's only me, and probably it's for a specific reason, but I think that it would be very interesting to see the 'unpolished' side of Barcelona's inner courtyards.

Absolutely gorgeous wee hostel in perfect location for us. In one direction the Sagrada Familia is 8-10 minutes walk and the other way 12 minutes to other Gaudi buildings on Pg de Gracia. Plenty of buses nearby for further exploring. Super cute layout and decoration, each room has a balcony with double shutters (so room is completely dark and very quiet at night). The bed is huge too! Kitchen and bathrooms are spotlessly clean and well laid out. The breakfast is best bargain you'll get in Europe €4 for "help yourself" eggs, hams, cheese, cereals, coffees, yogurt, fruits, and selection of breads etc. All nicely presented in the homely kitchen every morning. Staff very helpful. This is a small friendly hostel that feels like home :)

We didn't plan to stay in Barcelona longer..it's a fanastic city and this is fanastic hostel.

The staff of the facility are very friendly and try to help. Of course, leaving my luggage was an ordinary opportunity. I came after midnight to enter the room. The attendant did not allow me to turn on the light. I had to place my luggage and belongings using the phone light. He said it was quiet time for the hotel, but the next night my roommates did not turn off the light until 1:30 at night and continued to make noise. I wish everyone had been more careful and warned about this. The kitchen and its facilities were very good

When I went to the toilet at 10:30 the previous evening, there were papers on the floor. The next morning, those papers were still there. In fact, I went outside. When I went back to the hotel and used the toilet again, it was 1:30 in the afternoon, but those papers were still on the floor. As far as I understand, cleaning is only done once a day. It would be better if they increased the frequency of cleaning. The curtains are old, torn and let in light. I recommend using blackout curtains. Other than that, I liked it, but this much money is too much for this performance.

I believe this is one of the best hostels in the city, and this is evidenced primarily by its overall rating. I'll start with the location, located in the center of the Eixample district, in one of the 8-gonal rectangles, a 15-minute walk from the Sagrada, Casa Mila, Casa Battlo. There is a metro station and a bus stop nearby, you can get anywhere. The staff inside was top-notch, friendly and polite. The room was clean, comfortable, the lockers were spacious, the bed was large, the bed linen was made, the mattresses were comfortable, and even the duvet cover was in flowers, a reference to the name of the hostel, it’s really always spring there. A spacious lounge area with guitars, a kitchen with everything for cooking, breakfast for 4 € (as of January 2024). Bathroom/toilet were clean, gel shampoo was available in the showers. It was a pleasure to return to this hostel after a busy day in the city.

We were delighted by the ambience of the Primavera Hostel. The staff were amazing. The location was perfect, 10 minutes from the Sagrada Familia! Also, it was spotlessly clean. Our room didn’t have an en suite bathroom but it wasn’t a problem as there were plenty of bathrooms! It was torrential rain on our last day and we were very grateful to be able to relax in the comfortable lounge until our taxi at 4pm. Breakfast also great value at 4 euros . We would most definitely stay here again!!!!

Liked everything!

Very friendly 24/7 reception, happy to help with practical questions about the stay in Barcelona. The place is very clean, good beds and cute boutique vibe. Lovely small balcony in the room. A great common kitchen. The breakfast 4€ / person if bought on site was very affordable. A 10 minute walk to sagrada familia, and very easy to explore Barcelona from here. Kiosks and shops, restaurants and cafes, everything close by.

The only possibly negative side is that it is located next to a busy road so if you are very soundsensitive, sleeping could be disturbed. I was not at all disturbed, on the contrary, I liked the sounds of the city.
