Beautiful boutique hotel in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. Friendly staff, nightly wine & cheese gathering, in-house restaurant, delicious hot & cold buffet breakfast. Small but very comfortable room (light & airy). Enjoyed the Turkish spa with relaxing massage, the 24-hour expresso machine, and the availability of a clothes washer & dryer. Great views from the rooftop lounge and pool.

Fantastic location with absolutely wonderful staff! The lobby immediately welcomes you with a signature scent and cozy and swanky vibes. Yurbban has two properties side by side which is awesome as the Trafalgar property has a wine reception each night and it gives guests the option of TWO rooftops! The staff in the restaurant at breakfast started our days off beautifully (Wendy and Marecki) The breakfast selections were great but their lovely greetings and quick service were truly exceptional. We will most definitely return!

The hotel room had little to no storage for clothing and personal items, which would be okay for a couple days but we found challenging since we were there for six nights. It forced us to live out of our suitcases and with the small space, that really had us feeling crowded and messy. The SPA was nice but not exceptional. Massages were okay and the room did not have music or lighting to set the tone so we found it difficult to drop into the relaxation. I tried a facial the following day which was wonderful!

I loved everything. The location is great, the hotel is peacefully beautiful, my room was perfect, the view from the terrace was exceptional, loved that there was a laundromat that I could use and with detergent for me to use, the spa was perfect, and the gym was really good. The service was the best of the best. All the staff was friendly,welcoming, and helpful. There was a young lady who answered all my questions and gave me dinner suggestions. There was one staff in particular that I am forever grateful and his name in Edgar. Edgar helped me at 2am to purchase tickets for the trains I needed to get to my next destinations. I know it’s not part of his job description but he went above and beyond and made sure I was taken care of. Out of all the hotels I stayed in Spain, Yurbban Passage was the best hotel in every aspect and I strongly recommend this hotel and will always choose this hotel every time I visit Barcelona.

The hotel and staff were great, we stayed in September. The room was a good size with a nice balcony, very clean and well equipped. It was also very quiet. The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Barcelona, The Reception staff were always happy to book any tickets and recommend places to eat, all of which were very good. The hotel is in a great location, easy to reach all the main attractions and there is a metro station at the end of the road. The pool area was nice and has great views. The staff could not have been more welcoming. I have to give a special mention to the team around the pool area and the breakfast team, they could not do enough,they were superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended to friends who are visiting in two weeks time. We did not use the spa as the weather was too good but it looked very nice

There was nothing we disliked

The hotel was modern and stylish. The staff were amazing - I speak limited Spanish but all of their English was amazing and everybody was glad to help. Also the smell of the hotel was really nice as it was very relaxing and spa-like. Very comfortable bed and really nice shower. Modern room with chrome cast TV. Also the robes and towels were soft. Breakfast had a great selection of colds and the hot food came plated nicely and had the extra effort put into it. Being able to have sparkling wine was also a nice surprise. The pool and terrace view was also very special as you had noone overloo you or anyone to overlook in front of the hotel. Plus the view of the city was quite something.

It would be good if the rooftop terrace bar was open earlier in the day for drinks during the afternoon. This was our only observation.

Great rooms, good atmosphere, loved the roof top terrace and the bar. The cute touches like the fortune cookies etc were great. Martin the barman was especially good, looked after us really well and remembered our drinks throughout the stay and always asked us how we were doing etc. Loved the wine and cheese, great way to start the evening and good wines as well! Location was excellent and the maps and guidance from the front desk staff were really useful. And of course Harry the legend. Highly recommend this place if you're staying in Barcelona.

Nothing really. If I was being really picky I'd say having the bar open earlier in the afternoon. And a bit more drawer space for clothes.

It was an amazing stay! We stayed for my brother's birthday and the communication beforehand was great. The cake and fruits they prepared were delicious. The staff there are super friendly and went out of their way to assist you. I loved that everywhere there were clever sayings and you could tell every detail was thought through. The rooftop and pool are really amazing, a great view! Something else which really added to the experience was you could also go to the hotel next door, which was part of the chain, and use those facilities. (rooftop & pool) They also had bikes for rent to explore the city. Can honestly recommend this hotel,stayed in a 5 star hotel in Barcelona before, but this was better!

The lady at the spa treated us a little strangely it seemed.

The hotel was in a great location, close to central metro stations and a short walk from tourist attractions but quiet. The staff were fantastic, welcoming, helpful and attentive. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection of food and juices. The spa and gym were good and the free cheese and wine o’clock from 1830 a nice touch. I’ve been fortunate to stay in top hotels around the world and this was some of the highest standards of customer service. We had a courtyard room which was quiet at night.

If I had one gripe it was that the bed was quite hard. Okay if you like hard beds but not great if you don’t! We asked for a topper and that made for a better night sleep.

We booked a triple room. The first room we received was small and not with a comfortable layout for a 3 person family. Initially the hotel was not able to change the room. Unfortunately my family got sick in Barcelona and I have asked the front desk again to look for a more comfortable room. The Front Desk Manager, Marjore was super helpful and showed me another option for a room which was a lot better for us, especially going through the sickness. Apart from that I have found the hotel to be well designed with a beautiful comfortable breakfast area. We enjoyed the atmosphere, which was laid back and easy.
