Very central, within a 10 min walk to Placa Catalunya. We received a free upgrade to a Junior Suite, which was a very welcome surprise. Breakfast was lovely, with a great choice, including cooked food and continental including fresh fruits. We had a meal at La Plassohla one evening, which was excellent. And the hotel also has a Michelin starred restaurant, which we didn't try, but appeared popular. All the staff at the hotel were excellent, very helpful and pleasant.

Not the fault of the hotel, but right now and for a long time they have road works going on right outside the hotel. It is extremely noisy between hours of approx. 8.30am and 6.00pm. And this looks like it will continue for a long time to come yet. We also heard occasionally, very feint rumbling from the Metro line below the hotel. We were on the first floor, so would recommend floors above that to help avoid this. We didn't mind all the noise too much as we were out most times during the day, except during breakfast obviously.

Breakfast was very good to eat that was included in price. Location was in heart of Gothic Quarter, close to great restaurants and city sights. Easy to get to and from. Rooftop pool and views were exceptional.

Beds were way too hard. The rooftop pool was closed for a private function one night - look after your guests staying at the hotel, not external guests wanting access to your amenity.

The Hotel Ohla is located in the best part of Barcelona and is superb. The staff were exceptional the most helpful and pleasant that we had encountered on our European trip.

We had a fantastic stay at Ohla for our anniversary. The location was amazing, really central to everything we wanted to see. A short walk to placa de catalunya, la rambla etc. The staff were really friendly and willing to help you with anything, we didn’t come across one rude or unfriendly staff member. Alba went above and beyond by leaving us complimentary cava, chocolate and rose petals in our room when she was unable to upgrade our room. The rooftop bar was great and we loved having access to it as hotel guests (a little pricey but I guess these things are). Very clean, not one complaint to be made about cleanliness be it in our room or around the hotel.

The gym was a bit rubbish so I’m glad I never took my gym clothes! The open shower in the room would be a little weird if you weren’t a couple (it didn’t bother us though)! Road works on Via Laietana outside the property but obviously this is not the hotels fault and previous reviews mean we were already aware of the works going on.

The location is perfect within walking distance to the Cathedral (not the Sagrada), la rambla and many markets. The rooftop pool and bar offers stunning views.

The concierge will send you to restaurants that are not necessarily the best but that he has a connection with. Do your own research.

The apartment was very close to central Barcelona. It was very modern but still comfortable and welcoming. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very stylish and the bath was a good size with nice hot water. The staff were extremely helpful. We had transferred from another hotel and were early. We were able to leave our luggage and go exploring. When we arrived back it was still only about 1pm and check in is normally 3pm so the staff suggested we go up to the rooftop bar which we did. They even provided us with a cup of tea to go with the cakes we'd bought. Then at 2pm we were able to get into our room as the manager had asked housekeeping to do ours early.

Myself and a cousin stayed for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. The room was fabulous. Food was excellent. Couldn't of enjoyed it anymore. Thanks to all at Ohla Barcelona

The room was spacious and comfortable. We were on the 7th floor and there are only two rooms on that floor. The rooftop pool and terrace are on the 8th floor. The buffet breakfast has a nice variety (though I would like potatoes as an option). We asked for an omelette and it was available and cooked to order. The staff are friendly and professional. The hotel is nicely decorated and in a central location. There is an excellent gelato place right near the hotel. We walked to La Rambla in less than 10 minutes. It is easy to get a taxi outside the hotel and the hotel staff arranged a taxi to bring us to the airport (45 euro for a large van). We stayed in another hotel in Barcelona on La Rambla for part of our vacation. When returning to Barcelona, we will only stay at Ohla Barcelona in the future. We really enjoyed our stay and the rooftop pool and terrace are the best.

It would be nice if the pool would stay open later for hotel guests. They close the pool at 6 PM to allow the rooftop area to open to non-hotel guests in the evening at 8 PM. Would like to have potatoes on the breakfast buffet. The rooftop bar prices are quite high (31 euro for a hamburger) though the quality of the food is excellent.

Excellent staff, friendly and smiling. They gave us champagne and chocolates as a gift the first night we stayed there, while they upgraded our room because we were celebrating something special. In a very central location, with very good sound insulation, and first quality breakfast. Only dissonance, cielis, the restaurant with michelin award that is on the 1st floor of the hotel, that made us pay for the reservation even though we cancelled three days before the reservation.

The highlight of our trip! Ohla Barcelona is truly phenomenal from the second you enter the premises. The *entire* staff were attentive and warm with the front desk staff being exceptionally animated and friendly. Special shout-out to Salvatore. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade for our stay. The Penthouse room was one of the most fantastic spaces I have *ever* seen - we had a duplex space with a lounge, a terrace overlooking magnificent Barcelona, and a spa-like bathroom. A fantastic blend of luxury without any compromise on comfort. The bed itself was like sinking into a cloud. Everything was magical - with so much attention to detail and special touches. I loved little things like a card on your bed after turn-down giving you an indication of the next day's weather forecast, and a call once we were in our room to ensure we were happy. The area around the hotel is charming and wonderful with tons of shops and places to eat. We ate at the restaurant on site which was superb. Breakfast too was fantastic with tons of options. I only wish we had time to make it to the rooftop pool and bar.
