Very good location near the old town and supermarkets; train station less than a 10-minute walk away; basic but pleasant hotel; absolutely loved this one guy working at reception (too bad I didn't ask for his name): his English was very good and he knows so much about the area - and he was so happy to share his knowledge with the guests! Big thumbs up!

The road leading to the hotel (coming from the train station) is a bit dirty and there are quite a few shady-looking people around; there is a bar down the road and people are drinking and laughing outside until very late - so if you have a front-facing window make sure to keep it closed.

Excellent location, between the old city ('Casco Viejo') & the modern extensions of Bilbao. Impeccable bed-linen. Helpful, English-speaking staff on Reception.

The hotel exists in something of an oasis, in an intermediate area, part respectable, part rough. Around the corner is an excellent restaurant (Peso Neto), & another in Calle Arechaga nearby, down the slope towards the river. However care should be taken especially at night/weekend when walking along Calle San Francisco or Calle Cortes, which are the the 2 most direct streets which give access from the modern city to the hotel on Calle Miribilla. The former street was described to me by the local police as 'un poco conflictivo' !

Excellent stay. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, quiet, 10 minutes walking distance to the centre. Great Aircon after hot days. Rooms a decent size and good TV package for a bit of football watching on a break from seeing the very nice city of Bilbao.

The location is a bit sketchy - the red light district and a rather run down area is only a couple of hundred metres away with groups of men hanging around. But it didn't feel unsafe even at night during the festival and it didn't impact the hotel itself. Just always turn left out of the hotel and you'll be fine.

The staff, who unusually in the Basque region spoke English. They were welcoming and exceptionally helpful giving information about events happening in Bilbao voluntarily. We had arrived on foot, tired after finishing our last stretch of Camino Del Norte, and they made our bedroom available to us ahead of normal check-in time. Our twin room was bright and fresh looking, efficiently laid out making it appear spacious and more comfortable than normal for hotels in that price range

The floor area between the twin beds , hidden by the beds but revealed when beds were moved apart, was a bit dusty - understandable cleaning oversight by cleaning staff and not a big issue,

The property was great value for money. It was in a good location although coming back up the hill is daunting at the end of a long day walking around the city. We also like having a balcony and secure parking nearby.

The room we were allocated was very small and the double bed was touching the wall on both sides. As we are not as nimble as we once were it was hard crawling out of the foot of the bed for the toilet etc Also breakfast isn’t available at the hotel but we struggled to find any breakfast to buy locally.

Great location - 10/15 mins walk into the old town with loads of bars/restaurants/food market Really friendly helpful staff - we arrived late, and they gave us a great dinner recommendation just 5 minutes walk away. Reception open all night, so you can arrive late. Room really well designed with loads of plug sockets, space to put cases and bags, blackout shutters and good, but quiet, air conditioning. Comfy bed. Large powerful shower. Safe secure parking right opposite - easy to access.

The location was fantastic, just across the river from the old town. Everything was walking distance. As for food, there were few bars in the vicinity if you didn´t want to venture anywhere. The hotel is dog friendly, although you do have to pay a bit extra.

Although I didn´t have any problem, there were two things that could be improved - the shower head - it was just a streak,; and pillows - they were non-existant. Even with two pillows, I felt like something is missing. They were very thin.

Great hotel in Bilbao. Fernando was so helpful - wonderful information with great tips for eating and sight seeing. His knowledge of the city was first class. The room was clean, comfortable and serviced daily. Shower had good pressure. Beds were on the firm side but not a problem for us. Location was close to the market and old town.

The air conditioning was a bit hard to control

Very clean and tidy with lift to all rooms. Parking was avaiable across the road at a small charge. The room was a fair size for the price and importantly for me the shower was excellent. Spoke with 3 members of staff at reception all were extremely helpful and supportive.

My only concern was we were on the wrong side of the river this was only a problem for us because my wife has mobility issues any able bodied person could skip up and down the hill to a lovely bridge and be in the heart of the city. We booked this hotel nearly three years ago before lockdown. We didn't have mobility issues then.

Cute little hotel in an okay area. The staff were super nice especially given that we drove in really late and the guy was super helpful at the front desk. I think this is a cute place to stay when you just want a place to crash. I didn't really check out any of the other facilities but the beds were pretty comfortable and the views were great.

We arrived to rest and then we left in the morning so no comments here.
