Location is fantastic, close to the old town and the market with best pitxos bars. Close to shopping area too and a walk to Guggenheim is nice enough.

1) The roof terrace was closed which was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel having seen the photos on your website. 2) The breakfast was bland and there was limited choice for a vegetarian. Scraps of fruit, not very good pastry. The cereals were also not the best (no granola for example) and the coffee from the machine was terrible. At 15 euro per person in a city where you can eat like a king for that money I felt this was really poor. Plus there are places on the doorstep of the hotel with much better breakfast options at a fraction of the price.

room : nice, comfortable and quiet breakfast : tasteful and ample location : excellent for old and new city staff : not overly friendly especially one barman except the cleaning staff (very friendly) cleanliness : ok but we found nail clippings from previous guest on the floor (rectified by nice cleaning lady who was just hoovering the hall) but except foor that very clean Excellent value for money!

The location is amazing, and I doubt you would get anything better in the city. The design is flashy and odd in a good way, very interesting. The staff is very friendly, helpful and polite. The bedding was very clean and comfy, high-quality.

For a 4-star hotel, I believe the service was rather cheap and unattentive. Given how much you'd spend during low season, you would expect them to have more attention to detail. There was only one coffee capsule per day, and one toothbrush though we were two guests, they didn't change the mugs throughout the whole stay nor provided anything to wash them with. I've stayed in 2 or 3-star hotels with more infrastructure and care. Also, the rooftop bar - which is their flagship and advertised in their photos - is actually only open for like 3 months a year, so it was closed despite being 27oC and sunny outside. The bathroom door is very heavy and impossible to be opened by people with disability, children, or seniors.

Location was excellent so close to the tapas bars in the old town, the market and a lovely walk along the river to the Guggenheim. The suite was spacious with huge corner balcony and good views. The hotel bar was great. Staff helpful and friendly.

We stayed 3 nights and only had 1 small bottle of water on arrival and 2 coffee pods. The next day had to ask for more. Got 2 coffee pods but no water. We didn’t want breakfast as prefer to eat later but we were told we couldn’t get a coffee as it’s only for those having breakfast. We stayed in the penthouse suite and although the balcony was fabulous, the soundproofing was terrible and we could hear traffic, people shouting and bins being emptied all night and early morning.

No kettle ,and they wouldn't supply one as room had a coffee machine. Stayed 4 nights but nothing got replaced when the room was made up each day (sugar, milk capsules, soap etc). At these prices I would have expected 'proper' spoons.....not silly thin wooden strips, and who thought it a good idea to have mugs for boiling hot drinks - with no handles!?🙄🤷‍♀️. Had to 'steal' milk, spoons, mugs etc from breakfast! Lovely hotel otherwise.

The locatuon was perfect , right atound the corner from casco viejo and a few steps away from Martin Berasategui's restaurant, which we recommend.The meeting point for the free guided tours were just across the street from the hotel. Also, the electric bus that we took to go to the Gugenheim museum was just steps away. The room was big and comfortable. It was very quiet up in the 6th floor. Breakfast was very good.

The fact that the hotel didn't have parking , but they offered a discount in a nearby parking lot.

The location was absolutely incredible right next to the subway and the Plaza Nueva, Casco Viejo. The hotel was very well decorated but also very simple. It didn’t have many amenities but it was ok for a simple comfortable stay.

The shampoo and body wash were the same product which I believe is the most lazy thing a hotel can do. Also it was not easy at all to take out from the bottle probably because they left an almost empty one in our room. And just a detail about the facilites - the bathroom door was really heavy which wasn’t really an issue for me (a healthy 20 year old) but my grandma could never open it…

There was a problem in room 211 With the shower. It is leaking through the base of the external glass surround. There is water under the floorboards between the shower and the bed. If you press your foot on the floor panels water can be seen in the bedroom between bed and shower. There is a small area of black mould on the wall at the back corner of the shower and bed which indicates this problem is not new. On the first night the shower door stuck, would not slide open without force. This was reported and dealt with but it may well be that the base of the shower is no longer secure.

Out of all the hotels I stayed at in Spain, this was the cheapest, so I didn't have super high expectations, but somehow this was the best of the hotels I stayed at in my 3 week trip out of 5 hotels. They had complimentary fresh lemon water at the front constantly which was so nice, the air conditioning worked (which is something that hasn't been the case for the other hotels), staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is just wonderful. We really enjoyed walking the streets around the hotel and there are a lot of restaurants and shops. There is a main square that your room looks out on and you can see all kinds of things going on. Perfect!

I can't think of anything, except that the lady over the breakfast area wasn't very friendly.

1. Great location, 2 min walking to the old town and great places to eat and 15 min walking to the bus stop to get to the airport 2. Stuff is very friendly 3. Room comfortable and clean

1. Windows of our room faced the road and the square which is quite noisy due to public transport and people. As I like sleeping with the open window, the noise was too disturbing for me. 2. Unfortunately, the rooftop terrace was closed to public. Such a pity as that was one of the features like about this hotel when booking 3. Stayed for 3 nights, water compliment was provided only once (i.e. no re-fill)
