Very comfortable hotel with excellent friendly staff. Room clean, quiet. Excellent location to explore the main sights in Bilbao. Very good breakfast ont he 6th floor

Some confusion with the Booking.com booking. WE paid for a city view, but started in a room with a view of a wall. Turns out we had to book a superior room for the city view - not mentioned on the Booking.com website. The excellent manager moved us for the 2nd night to a superior room with a city view. This issue need rectifying by Bookin.com

The location is PERFECT. You are right in the Casco Viejo, so you have shops, fruit stores, supermarkets, bakeries, cafés, restaurants, etc. within minutes. You also have very easy access to public transportation, trams, buses, metro, taxis, and the train station. Moyúa Square is a 15-minute walk away if you want to take a bus to the airport. Within walking distance are also Ribera Market, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Arena Bilbao if you are attending a concert.

The room was not quiet. I heard the noise from the street and the noise from the rooms around me, toilet flushes, showers, talking, walking. It is the oldest hotel in Bilbao, I was told, so I guess it's to be expected.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Bilbao for three nights and my experience was fantastic! The hotel's reception personnel Diana and Ingrid were very welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. They provided us with great recommendations on things to do and see in the area, as well as tips on the best restaurants and pintxos bars to visit. Our room was also very comfortable and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the city. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to all the main attractions and just a short walk from the city center. The hotel amenities were also great and the staff was always friendly and accommodating, and made sure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible.

Tram-train passing can be considered somewhat noisy.

Always wanted to stays in a Pension and this one was perfect. Loved our room (Chardonnay 21). It made you feel at hotel with a private bath. Wasn’t expecting amenities yet they had them and more… toothbrushes and bath salts. Frig and coffee maker in the room with a common room with espresso, micro, etc. Bed was comfortable with a top sheet and american pillows. We rented bikes and went to wineries. Great for a run on the Camino de real. Lovely public pool for laps as well. Cute bar downstairs and great restaurants on the plaza. A must stop for Rioja. We will be back!

Nothing except AC doesn’t work from 3am to 5am.

The location couldn't be better! You have nice stores, great cafes and restaurants and public transportation within walking distance. The staff couldn't be more agreeable and helpful. A shout out to Sonia and Naty who are absolute saviours and are always ready to help and answer every question with a smile! Breakfast is varied and delicious. Breakfast-time staff are also the best!

The pillows could be firmer and the AC more user-friendly. We had an interior-window room that was quite warm despite the cold outside. The first two nights, it was a little uncomfortable. None of it was a deal breaker, though!

The location was excellent. On the edge of the old town. A tram stop outside the door, train station just over the bridge and a 3 minute walk to Plaza Nueva. The best thing about this hotel though was their staff. They were all incredibly helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend the people of this hotel highly enough.

I heard every footstep outside my room.

The hotel is in a great position on the edge of the Old Town by the theatre, near tram and metro stops and also the City View Hop on Hop off bus stop. Spacious room, comfortable bed, kept very clean. Delicious breakfasts on the top floor each morning, plenty of choice and cheerful service from Maria and her colleagues. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful, especially Nadia. Very close to lots of eateries.

The only slight negative is that the floors are boarded and you can hear the guests in the room above moving about.

The location was perfect, in the heart of the old town. The breakfast by Maria and Ruben was incredible, the room was clean and had everything we needed. Angel at the front desk was kind, cheerful and helpful. We will definitely return.

There was only one occasion when a busker was playing 70s ballads on an electric guitar with an amplifier very loudly in the street below our room. He could not play well, but we could not escape the noise. It is actually funny now.

Great central location for sightseeing and pincho eating. Friendly staff. Good room, ok bed, ok shower. Airconditioning. You can borrow bicycles for free. Good breakfast (not included).

Only minor things. They offer only shower, I would have liked to have a bath. I didnt like that the cleaner entered the room while I put up the "NO disturbing" sign. You must enter and exit the building using your keycard, gets a bit annoying.

We had a great family time in Bilbao, everything was really clean and the bed was really comfy. Reception 24h, staff was really helpful all the time and the buffet breakfast was amazing with plenty of variety and good quality. The buffet staff were really friendly and welcoming every day for our breakfast, especially thanks to Maria. The location was super, really centric next to the center, underground, restaurants and shops.

Nothing
