Swimming pool and surrounds were top notch. Breakfast was the best spread we have ever seen and we have seen a lot. Access to a very clean and attractive beach was easy. Room was fine with a great sea etc view. Would stay there again.

Lack of hotel faciliites information eg did not know there was a lounge, library or spa facilities until discovered days later. Need a book detailing the info. like you normally get in a hotel. We thought the towels were cheap in fact the pool towels were better. Despite the superior breakfast the one evening dinner we had was not very good and no flexibility on how many courses ie 30 euros for 3 courses whether you want them or not.

Breakfast was excellent - could not fault the choices available and service of the staff...10/10 - they even allowed us to go to restaurant to have a coffee and some pre-prepared cold meats,bread,fruit before we left for the airport very early on day of departure Location was superb - close to everything...10/10 Room was clean and with good storeage space - and a great view of the sea...but a kettle would have been good to have . Minus - having to pay Euro 2 per day to use the safe was a bit 'cheeky' - and which was not working properly...come on if it is in the room - let guests us it..after all it is to protect both parties

This was my first time in Mallorca, so I was doing a lot of research beforehand to try and find the perfect place to stay. Hotel Cala D'or was everything we wanted it to be. My partner and I wanted somewhere with free breakfast, a gym, and near the beach and restaurants. We didn't rent a car and that was fine because there are so many cute restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was one of the best included breakfasts I've ever had. They had fresh fruit and all different cuisines, freshly made eggs, bacon, meats, and pastries and they were constantly refilling whenever something was finished. The ambiance of the hotel is wonderful, very intimate and quite and in the beautiful white minimalist style of many of the villas in the area. Our room was always clean and simple and everything we needed including a balcony with a drying rack for towels and bathing suits. The connecting beach, Cala Petita, is as the name says petite. All of the beaches in the areas are coves and quite narrow if you are used to very long beaches, but in my opinion that is what makes these beaches charming. We preferred to go to the beach 5 min away called Cala Gran. It was a bit bigger and so even if it got crowded there was always space for us to go. All of the restaurants are about a 5 minute walk aways and they are all delicious. My partner is Spanish and even though some places looked very touristy, they had delicious tapas. We took the bus several times and it was super easy to buy a ticket on our phones, we did a day trip to the national park and beach Cala Mondrago, it was about a 30 min bus ride and the beach there is stunning and much bigger than the smaller calas by the hotel. The hotel also offered excursions as well as pilates and yoga classes but my partner and I decided to pass on that. They also offer massage and facials. I read that the masseuse is great but make sure you make an appointment once you arrive, he books up fast.

The gym is a little small with only the basic machines but it got the job done.

The hotel is located on Cala Petita, a really nice beach. The sandy area is smaller than Cala Gran which is also 4-5 minutes away on foot. The location of the hotel is particularly good, as you are only 5 minutes away from all the restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets on Cala d'or. The hotel has a free parking space, very close to the hotel, where you enter with an access code. Breakfast was quite good with both international and Majorcan alternatives. The pool area and the pool bar is also nice and very clean. The hotel has daily activities and excursions if you are interested and staff is very helpful.

This is not something the hotel can change or improve but it's still good to know for future guests. This is an adult only hotel and really very quiet and peaceful. But the beach of course is open to everyone. And since it's a nice sandy beach, there're a lot of children running, swimming, playing, and sometimes crying and even screaming. It wasn't really a problem for us, as we preferred the pool area to read/relax.

The location is amazing - so close to all the restaurants, shops and bars. The hotel is lovely, great pool, so close to the beach and lovely breakfast. The rooms are basic but comfortable and very clean.

No policing of towels on sunbeds, people were reserving them from 6am which was ridiculous. Our room door wouldn’t close unless we slammed it and the toilet flush had issues as the water would run non stop.

Location was excellent - both to the lovely cove and to the bars/restaurants. It was quiet and the food served in the beach bar and restaurant was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. Everything was super convenient

A very, very minor point but we were not sure why there were random sofas in the corridors and the carpets in the hallways were dated. Hardly something to complain about but I had to write something!

Stay was great. Breakfast had a great selection. Pool was prefect. There is a private beach right beside it and is perfect for swimming.

Noting really. It was a great stay. Maybe the travel from the airport. We ended up renting a car which we didn't plan to but made good use if it.

Great location. The ability to swim in the sea and access a lovely hotel pool. A very relaxed vibe. Fabulous breakfasts, offering an option to eat fresh local dishes by the pool bar during the day, or at the restaurant on the beach in the evening. The staff were "super nice" and very helpful.

Too much music... the beach bar played music from 0800 until very late... this impacted on all guests relaxing around the pool during the day, enjoying a sea view room balcony or in the pool bar in the evening. The beach bar/restaurant staff were "distracted & naive" & showed little interest in any hotel guests. The hotel owners were visible & identifiable but chose did not engage with guests, which is not a positive vibe.

Great location directly on Cala Petita, with a restaurant that belongs to the hotel. Renovated rooms are nicely decorated and they all have a balcony. Free parking. Breakfast has lots of options, it was ok. Staff was great too. The hotel has a nice boutique atmosphere, different from these packed excursion-like resorts on the surrounding area.

We stayed in a renovated room and the bed looked too small in length. I had my feet almost out. Everything else was very good. Totally recommend it.
