the property was in the perfect location, very clean and comfortable

car park is very expensive it should be included in the price or at a much cheaper daily rate , I will probably look for something with free car parking the next time I’m down

Location is spot on, right by the harbour and within minutes you are in the main town, lots of restaurants & bars on the doorstep. Didn't use any of the hotel facilities, breakfast/dinner etc so can't comment. The room was unusual in its layout, but we had a huge balcony - a shame the balcony did not have more comfortable seating/lounge area/loungers and some greenery would have made it perfect, it was rather sparse! View was amazing though, overlooking the harbour. All in all a great little hotel, would definitely stay again.

The balcony was huge and could have had some nicer touches - literally just a table and 2 plastic chairs, a nicer seating area and loungers would have been fab, there is more than enough room to do so.

The hotel was in a great location in the centre of Cartagena, easy reach for the shops, bars and restaurants. You wont be disappointed with this hotel location/ staff wise. The staff were excellent, friendly and very professional when checking us in. Our room was excellent, a lovely view over the marina and the bay, it was clean and was spacious for the two of us. Would definitely stay here again.

The entrance to the car park lift is very tight, had to turn in my mirrors. Our SUV did fit in but there ain't much room. Breakfast, was good and bad. The food was presented well, a very good selection of fruit, cold meats, juices, cakes etc. We were really disappointed with the hot food selection. The sausages were terrible, tasteless and soggy, the bakes beans and vegetables were cold even with them sitting on a hot plate. They came in serving pots but when you lift the lid off the portion size was tiny. We also had toast but the bread was bone dry. This was the only thing we found disappointing with the hotel which was a shame as we would have given it 10 out of 10. Hopefully the next time we stay the hot food will be a lot better.

We loved our stay at the NH Cartagena Hotel. You couldn't get a better location for sightseeing around Cartagena. The hotel was spotless and the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. It was our first year wedding anniversary and the hotel surprised us with a bottle of cava and some chocolates. We paid for breakfast and the choice was fantastic. There was variety of cheese, hams, pastries, fresh fruit, cereals and you could even ask the hotel to make you eggs or omelet's. Would highly recommend this hotel

Nothing, everything was perfect

The beds were very comfortable and the room extremely clean. The breakfast was fabulous, easily the best of our five stays on this trip. We had a great view of the harbor from our room and the location of the hotel right in the old town is fantastic. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

The room would get too warm during the day and we had difficulty cooling enough to sleep comfortably. We could open the window to cool it down to a comfortable level but we had to close the window to sleep because of the street noise. Within a short time the room would heat back up to an uncomfortable level. The hotel has air conditioning but apparently was turned off during this time of year (end of February) as only warm air would blow from the system no matter what the setting. We had to leave it completely off. We loved everything else about this hotel.

100% in every way .The Staff so well trained so helpful/smiling. The smell in the Hotel is just amazing I loved it.The breakfast selection the best I have ever seen in a hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite which had stunning views..Location also spot on100%

The Townhall Clock chiming every hour/quater/half was very annoying 😒 it disturbed our sleep 😴 Not the Hotels fault but that was a real disappointment as not having a proper sleep for 3 nights even in a fantastic room was not what we expected.

Upon our arrival the receptionist greeted us and wished myself and my twin sister a very Happy Birthday which was lovely. When we went into our room there was two trays with beautiful chocolate cakes and strawberries and Happy Birthday written in chocolate on each plate with a large bottle of water. A very nice touch. We were given a lovely room with fabulous views and the beds were very comfortable. Amazing breakfast choices and everything is fresh and delicious.

Absolutely no complaints!

Excellant location. The hotel is on the edge of the historic Old Town. We have been travelling around Spain for the last 7 weeks and definetley the best reception staff. They were friendly and helpful from arrival to departure. Breakfast was excellant. Breakfast staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel also as parking.

No real complaints. The rooms and corridors may need a lick of paint.

What was there not to like, everything was as you would expect, cannot find a fault, would recommend this hotel to anyone. From the location to the friendly staff, as I said everything was perfect. We spent our 49th wedding anniversary there, had such a great time, we decided to go again for our 50th, and we were not disappointed. Thank you again. Malcolm and Diane Morris.

Gorgeous property, friendly-outstanding staff, fabulous location. There was a place to temporarily park my car right in front of the hotel while checking in. Then I had the choice of parking in the tiny-car onsite parking (via tiny-car elevator) or nearby garage. I chose the garage, close and easy. I had a beautiful view from my room and easy walking to everything I came to see. Thanks to the staff—my stay was idyllic.
