Very pleasant room, warm after the young lady on reception explained how to operate the heating! Wonderful evening meal ... extensive buffet & show cooking of a wide range of meats, fish & vegetables. Delightful restaurant staff ... couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Bonus point for British visitors ... there was a kettle with tea & coffee in the room! Directly accessible from the motorway, very easy to find, lots of parking. An unusual hotel with facilities to entertain lone travelers: good bar/café, gymnasium, games room & library. We only stayed one night on our journey through Spain, but we will certainly plan our journeys to call again.

This is the best accommodation we have stayed in on our journeys through France and Spain it has everything you need rooms are brilliant value for the money top recommendation but the thing that impressed me the most was their fairness we could not make the night booked but with a phone call they carried over the stay so when our car was fixed we were still ok to use the credit Brilliant why can not more hotel do this 10 out of 10 top hotel for stopoverm

Staff very helpful. Room lovely, comfy and clean. Extra little treats for my dog were a fab touch, and she 'woofed' them down ;0) The ease of dinner was great, choosing your food and having the chef cook it suited us. Have now stayed here three times, and am sure we will be booking again when we next travel to Spain. Very impressed.

Nothing with the hotel at all. Struggled a little trying to register online, but that was a minor glitch.

We stopped in on our way from France to southern Spain and El Ville Castejon was perfect. It was just off the main highway so easy to get back on in the morning. We had dinner and breakfast in our tariff, both of which were absolutely fantastic, especially the buffet style dinner which included a huge array of fish, shellfish, meat, salads and a very helpful and skilled chef to cook for you on the hotplate. The room was large, with a fridge and really modern. It had air conditioning which was a blessing and the bed was really comfortable. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely helpful and lovely and cheerful. It was a real pleasure to stay there.

It was all perfect!

I loved the room - it has a kettle for making hot drinks and a fridge for keeping things cold. The bed was large and comfy. The air conditioning was great - which we needed. I like the fact that our two dogs are allowed to stay with us. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so.

The televison had very few channels. It was a very large television but nothing to watch. I did manage to get France 24 news in English after much trial and error. It was not easy. There were no films - and sometimes you can get the film in the original language which would have been really great.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The salads in the restaurant were amazing and a good selection of desserts.

We found the food was slightly undercooked eg the freshly cooked fish and the meatballs from the hot counter. The cooked breakfast was only lukewarm despite eating when the restaurant had just open.

The hotel made it easy to check in in advance, so that I didn't have to hang around in the lobby. The cafeteria is efficient if a little cold. Juan who was running the cafeteria is great and was really helpful. Breakfast was very good, if a little chaotic

The rooms are comfortable but they are getting a little tired

Great service. I had a problem with my car and they were very flexible with the dates of the stay. Breakfast and dinner buffer are excellent value for money. Comfortable rooms. My dog was welcome even in the cafeteria.

My room had a bit of a weird smell and the kart racing was right outside it. In theory the kart place is only open Thu-Sun from 11am, but I was woken up by kart noise at 9am on a Monday. Not so great. The motorcycles on the kart place are very loud even with closed windows. There is no good place to walk your dog. The signposted area is full of trash and as it is next to the motorway you don't have other options.

The comfort in the deluxe room was excellent, particularly good air conditioning as the temperatures were exceptional. Would probably book a suite if staying again. The dining and breakfast buffet experience was good value for money (if a little bizarre!) The restaurant staff did very well in managing a coach party who did not quite have an understanding of the word "gluttony".
