The hotel is located about 7 minutes walk from the center, the same time it takes to get to the beach. We appreciated the location in a quiet area. Car parking is possible in the adjacent streets (we could park here without problems even late at night). The hotel is very pleasant, nice and well maintained. The rooms, lobby and other areas are tastefully decorated. The cleanliness of the rooms and the whole hotel is of a very high standard. Staff always smiling, friendly and helpful (with exceptions). I must highlight the hotel restaurant. All the food was excellent. Fruits and vegetables always fresh, great choice of main courses but not overdone. Every day there was fish or seafood and another choice of meat. From the hot side dishes potatoes, rice and hot vegetables. There was also a choice of soup, pasta or fried foods like chips, breaded cheese,.... For dessert, cake or ice cream, fruit. Drinks are ordered for the table. When the restaurant was "fully booked", the service was a little bit lacking. But that was about the only blemish on the beauty.

Slower service in a fully occupied restaurant. But that's understandable. Otherwise, everything is fine. :) The price-performance ratio is more than good!!!

I personally don’t understand why anyone would complain about this hotel. It’s a lovely place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere to relax with a partner or friend. I stayed with my boyfriend for 5 nights and have had the best time. The staff were amazing. When we first checked in, our room wasn’t ready and they showed us to the restaurant for lunch and said to come back after our food. After food we then went to get our key and we were off to the room which was beyond my expectation! It’s even bigger than it looks on the photos and was extremely modern. They were cleaned everyday and the beds were made for us as well. There are a lot of complaints about the food but again, I don’t think it’s an issue. You get a buffet to pick from at breakfast and lunch and for dinner you can pick off of a menu, this changes each evening, or you can get something from the buffet. The food choices may be limited but there was something for everyone to eat, you just can’t be picky. The pool area was a great place to lunge around the pool itself was clean and warm, but a good temperature to cool off. The beach is 1km away but there are short cuts past other hotels which take you right onto the beach so you don’t need to follow directions on Google because they don’t take you the quickest way. Costa Calma beach was stunning and the water was so clear.

I would have preferred for the all inclusive drinks to be something you poured yourself rather than having to be served as this caused queuing and there wasn’t always someone around. The dessert choices weren’t the best, only some little cakes but that’s probably the only thing I would complain about for the food. This hotel also doesn’t have any entertainment if you are someone looking for night time entertainment. It is just a quiet hotel great for relaxing.

Room was very big and spacious, very clean. Whole hotel was clean and nicely presented. Loved the swimming pool although could have been a bit warmer. Staff were very friendly.

Evening meals weren’t as good as I’d hoped from the pictures I saw online beforehand. One night my dinner (mussels) came out cold. The mattress/mattress topper wasn’t comfortable, felt like a cheap topper. Would definitely recommend changing them for guests comfort. Also I ran out of soap/body wash and they were never replaced by the cleaner but surely they could see they were empty, usually hotels replace things daily. As well it would have been nice to have the option for a fresh towel. Restaurant was a little cold and lacking atmosphere, would be good to have some music playing there, maybe background music. Also the music playing at the swimming pool was awful, why soft rock? Surely play some fun spanish music, something to make guests feel more like on holiday

The staff, facilities and selection of food for breakfast and dinner was excellent. We opted for half board. Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower. We arrived late due to a flight delay. The lady at reception(Anya) had already contacted the kitchen so that we were able to have a late meal. She is an asset to the Hotel. All the staff were attentive and friendly. Given the price, standard of accommodation, food and service we thought it was excellent value for money.

This wasn't anything within the control of the hotel. Costa Calma seems to be composed mostly of self contained resort hotels like this hotel. I'd recommend car hire as it's an hour from the airport (we used Autoreisen never any problems) as the flight delay could have really messed us up if we had opted for a bus transfer. There doesn't appear to be much of a 'restaurant/bar centre' as such where people congregate in the evening if you want a bit of variety on your trip. There are a couple of bars within a 10 minute walk and a handy little grocery with good sandwiches 500M to the left of the hotel entrance just for a bit of variety.

I came here looking for a quiet place to relax. Although the hotel was full, i barely noticed it. The staff from reception to bar to housekeeping were exceptional. I want to Thank Vincent, Juan and ALBERTO especially for making me feel at home. These guys made a solo traveler feel welcome and helped me find my way around town. They also showed ve some cool spots to hang as well 👍🏾. Also thanks to Julio who always remembered what i wanted. I got exactly what I came for and more. The all inclusive was definitely worth the price. I am a very picky eater and always had something good to eat. With the help of google maps you will find everything you need. A car here will be helpful but i didnt mind the walking and there were always Escooters close by just in case. All in all i was pleasantly suprised. If your are a couple you will live the place, but also as a solo traveler you get your privacy and barely notice the couples. The rooms were large mordern and comfortable and the balconies were an added plus. 10/10

When checking in, we were disappointed that we had been unable to get to our room at about 2 PM, because we were told that the cleaning service was still at work, but that efforts were made to provide us access to our apartment (008) before 4 PM...... The facility is quite new and located on the Southeastern Coast side of Fuerteventura at "Costa Calma", which is mostly visited by Germans and Spaniards, while the Brits prefer the northern part of Fuerteventura (especially Correlajo). The natural sand beaches are in close proximity, but most of the hotel's guests were using the rather nice pool at an elevated level. We had booked the breakfast and evening meal as part of our meal plan, which permitted us to do our own scheduled excursions with our CICAR rental car during most of the day. Breakfast buffet was alright, although I had expected for the fruit juices to be directly pressed juices---rather than heaviliy watered down juices, prepared from a concentrate---given the fact that Spain is a major exporter of a variety of citrus fruits. For the (rather boring) evening/night buffet, the guests were expected to pay for their drinks, which was kind of disturbing, with a nightly rate of about €170 for a couple, incl. our particular meal plan. Although the levied surcharges were modest, a better arrangement could be made for the hotel guests, whereby a couple of soft drinks & beer/wine could be included, with extra charges only for high-percentage alcoholic beverages and an excessive consumption of the normal drinks. Three nights at this facility were just enough for us, as we became aware that we really don't have much in common with the average "package tourists" that were staying at this apartment hotel. Immediately after the Christmas Holidays, many guests had departed, though, and it became a bit more comfortable/relaxed, with shorter lines for the evening meal.....

There should not be any additional charges for a couple of soft drinks per couple for the evening meal. And orange juice for breakfast should be a directly pressed juice, rather than a watered down juice, prepared from a concentrate, since Spain is a major exporter of oranges, with the "Lidl" stores of the Canary Islands selling a liter of directly pressed orange juice for only €1,45/liter....... Parking our rental car in close proximity to the entrance had been a problem for us, depending on the time of day/night we decided to return.

Great and lovely hotel with soft and quiet atmosphere. Staff was professional and always ready to help. Room was spacious, and clean. Bed was big and comfortable, although pillows were in the form of sausage, quite unusual. Meals were delicious and well served. There was always plenty of food. The most of the visitors were aged couples, therefore it was very quiet in the evenings. Overall, great place if you looking for serenity and tranquility.

Our room was not cleaned when we moved in, however, the staff eliminated the problem shortly. Sometimes we had unexpected visitors as cockroaches, but they were outside the room in the most of the time. In mornings, there was always a long cue to the coffee machines, however, if you like to wake up early, should not be an issue. The cafeteria had no tea spoons, not even single one! Maybe it is a kind of local tradition. ;) There is a path to the local beach trough the local park, however, I would advice not to go there after dark, locals are gather at the park benches to smoke some weed. Overall, good hotel to chill out!

The hotel is modern, spacious room with balcony, big bathroom with walk-in shower. Food is in buffet form with plenty of choice. Poolside area is good with a bar and lots of sunbeds. The only thing I would say is invest in another music tape as it's on a loop and I must have heard it hundreds of times.

Breakfast got a bit boring after a few days but that's personal as I don't like to eat cooked food every morning. There is muesli but no plain yogurt. Also the queues for coffee were in a most peculiar place and in the way. Probably better to put the machine in the back. Same with desserts in the evening. To put that in the middle of the salads and hot food seemed odd and maybe better on the island or where the bread was. The area is so run down but that's Fuerteventura. No investment at all which is a real shame.

- The bathroom concept (a swing-like door between the toilet and the room, the washbasin directly in the room). All the toilet sounds were disruptive in the room. - A semi-open-air canteen (In January /February we felt cold at some places of the canteen.)
