the room was spacy clean and nice view, the breakfast was good, the access beach perfect, the servants( personal ) were extremely helpful and nice, can do attitude

the dinner wasn't really good, small variety , considered to the last years in the same hotel a negative point

somehow I didnt catch that this hotel has 99% old nudist mostly german guests. i dont mind nudists grneraly, but if it is all you can see on such a beautiful beach from sunrise to sunset, then its sad. i felt like i dont belong there at all. me and my husband were the youngest people there. everyone else were almost double our age. so this hotel is definitely for seniors, and it should be writtem somewhere :)

We stayed 10 days together with my wife. The staff is amazing and always super helpful. The hotel is close to the beach but it is not a private beach and there is no service to the beach. Sometimes you can see some naturalists on the beach. The food is good and tasty but always the same in order throughout the week after some time you get bored.

There is no service to the beach. I hate hotels with certain rules during dining time. You have to wear trousers for dining which is feeling me not on vacation but instead in a business meeting. We do not plan to visit the hotel again only for this reason since it feels like at work rather than having island vibe.

Excellent service. Friendly and professional staff, from reception to the restaurants and bars, to the cleaning of the room which was comfortable and spacious, close access to the beach, great pool and awesome views from the room and the restaurant. Both continental and cooked breakfast, good selection of food and variety for dinner and lunch, if you do not go expecting Michelin quality you will enjoy the buffet, some foods were poor but most very nice, but there is also a la carte restaurant if you need. Very good WiFi as well. Awesome cocktails by the pool and food to go with them by the pool bar. Gym although limited in equipment has all you need to keep fit during your holiday and wasn't busy during our stay, this maybe different in Summer in peak times. Decent animation to keep most people engaged, though better for older residents. Overall very happy, good value for money.

The spa was ridiculous, false advertising. Only one tiny sauna room which is always full and never available, the steam room didn't work for the whole time and that was it. Also super tiny jacuzzi, only available daytime and unfortunately many times had to be shared with guests that did not respect the limit of maximum two people at the same time. We expected more.

We loved our stay at Esmeralda, the rooms were spacious with a balcony and beds made everyday. There were enough sunbeds and the pool was a great size. The vibe was relaxing and they had entertainment on (my favourite being Motown night) and a selection of activities would take place throughout the day. The weather was 23/24 degrees, perfect weather with a light breeze. One day it was overcast which is when we made use of the sauna, indoor pool and went for a massage. Beach is a 5 minute walk, a lovely sand beach with a beach bar nearby. The town is very relaxing and you can use electric scooters or cheap taxis (book at hotel reception) to get around but everything you need is in the hotel. Would definitely visit again and would 100% recommend to others. Thanks for looking after us!

The buffet had a great selection but I wouldn't say the food was amazing. Beds weren't the comfiest but were very big.

*The room is truly beautiful. the pillows and bed were so comfortable! everything was super clean and polished. *The food is good (8,5/10) The variety of food is superb. Lots of things were very well cooked (for example, roasted meat and Soufflés) *The indoor pool is also very nice *Most of the staff (Spaniards) are super nice and kind

*the Coffee during breakfast is terrible. *some of the German ladies at the reception seemed “stressed” and therefore a bit unkind. *in the photos of the hotel it seems like the hotel would have an own beach. The beach is very close to the hotel but the beach is public and the chaise longues are also from somebody else ($)

Excellent location on playa Esmeralda.

The rooms facing evening sun became very warm in evening sun (27 degrees). Even when evening temperatures dropped below 20 degrees, attempts to cool room with both fan and air conditioning was not successful due to poor ventilation and air conditioning set at a high cut off temperature. I did not sleep well for this reason. It was not possible to sleep with door open due to mosquitoes.

Lovely quiet and peaceful hotel. The bedroom was roomy, bed great, aircon worked; bathroom modern and well stocked with shampoos and creams etc. Mini bar topped up daily - beer and soft drinks only. Cleaning was frequent and thorough. Staff excellent, friendly and efficient. Buffet excellent and well stocked. The a la carte was generally good and the Privilege lounge was compact but ok. One downside is that it closed at 9 pm which is a bit too early in my view. For our early departure we were given an early breakfast. Pools good including indoor heated.

Very little to say we didn't like. In the outdoor buffet areas there can be a few persistent pigeons and one rather large resident seagull which can be a bit of nuisance.

The location is stunning. The views from the hotel couldn’t be better. The lobby bar and outdoor terrace were fab. The cocktails on the all inclusive option were excellent.

Only minor things. Our room wasn’t cleaned properly one day. The cleaner didn’t remove our used glasses and forgot our towels. When they made our beds they just threw our nightwear towels one side. I am not normally too bothered but we only asked for our room to be cleaned 3 times during the week as I feel a whole week of cleaning is over excessive. The food on the evening buffet was ok but not great.
