I stayed here with my husband for five nights and it was exceptional. We travelled from Madrid to Malaga by train and then took a taxi from the train station, all very reasonably priced. From the check in to check out everything was perfect. The breakfast was wonderful, a huge variety of fresh produce at the buffet and menu options. We tried all the on site restaurants and the food and service were great in all, the Japanese deserves a special mention as the tasting menu was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff couldn’t have done more to look after us. We took golf classes and the coach was wonderful and the courses were beautifully maintained with views of the sea and mountains. The spa was phenomenal, many different steam rooms and saunas to try. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfy. Lots of wonderful products left in the bathroom. We also tried the brunch at the beach club with again was exceptional, the staff, food, variety and view we’re all amazing.

The hotel is stunning...but the swimming pool is nothing short of a masterpiece—a tranquil oasis that offers far more than just a place to swim. It's a visual spectacle, with azure waters that mirror the sky, framed by well-manicured gardens that provide a vibrant backdrop. Each curve of the pool is designed to enhance the overall aesthetic, making it not just a pool, but an experience.

The hotel is a little isolated for my liking. The on-location restaurants were a little hit-and-miss.

Stunning hotel, built as a Roman villa, set in the centre of a golf course. Food at La Veranda was exceptional, with wonderful service particularly from Nerea Garcia, Jose Morales & Daniel Mustata. Our room was beautiful and we had been given an upgrade to a suite. Flamingo golf course was excellent.

Unfortunately Tramores golf club was closed, but the lovely staff at Caddy Master booked us straight onto Flamingo instead, so we wasted none of the precious time we had there.

Very friendly staff, special thanks to Mark and his attention. Beautiful territory, great variety of food at the breakfast, lovely rooms. Wonderful place to spend weekend and relax totally.

It seems to me that SPA could be better. it would be great to have rubber slippers, more towels, some fruits or dry fruits, complimentary teas. If you are not playing golf then walking could be complicated for you as there are no locations for walking though the territory is very big.

Quite simply one of the best hotels in Europe. Everything from the setting, to the staff, to the room was top quality and certainly won't be beaten on the Costa Del Sol. We stayed in a junior suite overlooking the pool and it was perfect, everything about the room was top quality. It was also partially overlooking the golf course, an incredible setting. The staff are top class; from the concierge, to the reception and particularly the breakfast staff. So helpful and friendly. Staff at this hotel have clearly been trained to the highest hospitality standards. The facilities are second to none. The outdoor pool setting is beautiful and the pool is very refreshing. The spa facilities are extensive and better than we have seen anywhere, including a range of baths and steam rooms, a sauna and an indoor pool along with a good gym area. The golf course is incredible. My husband played the Flamingos course and described it as an experience he won't forget. He also used the driving range facilities. Despite having no clubs with him on the trip, the hotel facilitated him, no problem. The staff in the caddie shop and the driving range both looked after him really well. The breakfast buffet is great, with a range of options and the staff are just absolutely excellent. The setting on the front lawn for a drink was perfect and we sat here or by the pool often during the day. We ate in the Italian restaurant on the first night and it was 'very good' rather than 'excellent', but that is nit-picking really. We stayed twice in 2022, in July for a wedding and in December over Christmas. The weather was great on both occasions. We are already looking at coming back next year. beautiful setting with magnificent views of a spectacular golf course.. every detail in the hotel was looked after by really lovely hotel staff

surprised that in a 5 star hotel we had to pay 18 euros a day to park our car. Also we decided to upgrade outcrop to one solitude a large terrace.. the room was lovely but unfortunately we had quite a bit of rain during our 2 night stay and as the terrace was not covered we couldn’t use it for almost all of our stay which was disappointing

Loved the landscaping and outdoor gardens & amenities. Spa is amazing. Breakfast was my favorite. Hotel amenities and restaurants are great. Lobby is cold and need some facelifting. There was some noise at night from weddings and outdoor events.

Lobby.. Location, distant from downtown. I would suggest a small shuttle bus from hotel to downtown every hour until midnight.

Absolutely stunning. I stay in a lot of hotels around the world and I live in Dubai where we have some fantastic hotels, but this place is fabulous. The service is impeccable. The location and serenity are sublime. Just perfect. I didn’t play golf as I was working but the course looked fantastic.

Nothing. If I’m not picking then the AC wasn’t brilliant. Not a problem in March but might be in July.

Anantara Villa Padierna was an absolutely exceptional stay worthy of 11/10. The hotel grounds are stunning and something out of a dream. The staff goes above and beyond to attend to guests and the service was exceptional. The spa facilities were great and we enjoyed our massages. Every restaurant and the bar on the hotel’s property was exceptional, so much so that we ate at the various restaurants throughout our stay. The food at the beach club was also amazing as was the service. We have traveled all over the world and this is by far the nicest place we’ve stayed. I am seven months pregnant and we came for our babymoon. We can’t wait to come back with our little one based on the service and attention to caring for guests. Thank you for a great trip!

The staff is absolutely amazing, everyone is friendly and caring and made my stay pleasant. The property is beautiful, the restaurants are amazing. Rooms are super clean, bed is comfy, service is excellent.

The indoor pool in the Spa smells not very well. The outdoor pool is not heated which I dont understand. I live in the middle east and all our pools are heated during winter. No iron in the room
