This is a completely rebuilt and modernly furnished facility. The hotel is in the center of the town with bars, restaurants and shops, however it is really quiet as it is not on a busy road. There is a big parking a 1 minute walk from the doors of the hotel. Falset is central in the wine region of Priorat and Montsant, so it's a good place to base if you plan to travel around the region. We stayed in the Rothko Penthouse upstairs and had a private access to the whole floor. This apartment is amazingly spacious, with ceilings from 3,5 up to 8 meters and great art paintings, from the first step from elevator we felt like in a real palace. The salon has a big dining table, comfortable for eating, reading and working. The kitchen is fully equipped with new modern advanced high quality house supplies, including coffee machine, oven, microwave and a huge dishwasher. There are a lot of plates and high-quality glasses in the cupboards, for different kinds of wines. The bedroom is separate from the salon. The rooms are soundproof – from each other, from downstairs, from elevator and from outside. Both bedroom and salon have comfort beds. The penthouse has a spacious terrace with an easy access from salon. We enjoyed panoramic sunsets to the valley and mountains. There is also a table and enough chairs in the terrace, so you can bring snacks and glasses. The sun is on the terrace all day from morning to evening. The bathroom is big and waterproof, the advanced cleaning is done every day. The penthouse is definitely value for money, if you hesitate what to choose - studio or penthouse - we would recommend to choose the latter. The hosts are very helpful, they provided great advice on restaurants and bars around the town, as well as hiking routes to see the wineries.

We liked everything in the hotel and in the city. It would be great if more places were open on weekends and holidays!

A wonderfully cozy room, ideally situated in the heart of the town, is owned and managed by a charming Irish couple who has a great understanding of the area. They are always eager to extend their assistance and provide recommendations for the finest local activities and restaurants. In our experience their advise never failed. For those visitors who may not be fluent in Spanish or Catalan, the presence of a local English-speaking host is a real advantage. We will be happy to visit and stay there again.

John and Joan Gallagher are amazing hosts and very well connected in Falset and the surrounding communities. They gave us personal referrals to some wonderful local restaurants and businesses that we were interested in. We had four private winery tours that were unique and delicious. We also had a wonderful lunch and tasting at a family run olive oil business. They were very responsive to our needs and very generous with our access to their property. If you are traveling to the Priorat and Falset I would highly recommend the Priorat Aparthotel and the hospitality of John and Joan. I hope to return and would love to stay with them again.

This hotel is class all the way down. The room itself is pristine and beautifully built, with every inch of the space used in an elegant and practical way. The owners, John and Joan, are absolutely delightful – friendly, patient, experienced, and deeply knowledgeable of the area. The hotel itself is immensely pleasant and cozy, charmingly decorated, with tea and books available to sip & browse. Don't even bother looking elsewhere; this is the spot.

Absolutely everything - we are fans of Falset and to be so central, so comfortable and so welcomed it was wonderful. We were spending our anniversary in Falset and it was the perfect location to do so. The apartment is luxuriously comfortable, we slept so well and the facilities are really beautiful.

The location is perfect - just a stroll to the main square. The hosts Joan and John are very friendly and helpful with suggestions of walks in the hills and great places to eat delicious food at exceptional good value.

Wonderful place in a wonderful town. We stayed for a short weekend trip. The penthouse is a unique place to stay in. Lovely art and decorations give it a very personal touch. You can definitely see that Joanna and John put a lot of effort and love into that place. The best thing is the terrace which gets sun basically all day. Anytime again!!!

The rooms were big, cozy, brand new and tastefully decorated, extremely clean, very comfy beds, access to hotel was very easy with codes, check-in and out experience was perfect. Well situated in a quiet street in Falset, very good restaurants in the same block, and if you've ever been to Falset you'll understand this, the room had very good sound proofing so you won't be woken up by the church bell in the mornings!

The penthouse apartment was lovely with a beautiful terrace with a great view. The apartment is perfectly decorated and is spacious right in the town in a great location. If you want a quiet few days away from it all this is the perfect place

Spacious apartment with great final touches. We loved sitting outside on the rooftop terrace! Very comfortable bed. Joan and John were very responsive and helpful hosts, organized a dinner booking for us. We will happily return should we find ourselves in the region again.
