Gran Hotel Lakua

Room was very good. Spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean. Bathroom very good too. Staff (reception and cleaners) very friendly and helpful. Check in was quick enough.

Spa was not included when in most hotels it is. There was no coffee/facilities and in other hotels there is. There was only 1 towel and hand towel per person in the bathroom. In that intense heat there was not water bottles, even 1. You had to pay for it. We felt that was missing for a 5 start hotel. I cannot complain about the hotel not being in the center as we knew before booking but you need transport.

Very comfortable, we like a bit of room when we stay and after a fair bit of travelling we just wanted something very basic to eat for dinner. The kitchen was exactly what we wanted no oven but a hob top and microwave, perfect. The suite was lovely, very comfortable bed and crisp bed linen. Also with sub zero overnight temperatures the garage parking was a huge bonus. The hotel was easy to find, and so for us a great place for a one night stay to break the journey home to Málaga.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like.

location was good & easy to find after a long drive. rooms spacious & comfortable beds. quiet location. plenty of free parking. Bar facilities good. reception staff very helpful.

No kettle in room. Had to change rooms three times as air con not working in one room, second room smelt of cigarettes & third room the sliding bathroom door wouldn’t close! After being told what time the on-site restaurant opened for meals it was closed when we went…..had meal in bar area which we could’ve had two hours earlier had we known about the restaurant being closed…. not happy!

The room was comfortable. We slept well. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and had a surprisingly nice time. We did not go to the spa, as our time was limited, nor did we order room service. The breakfast buffet was very nice too.

The hotel was on the outskirts of town, so there was either public transportation or a long walk to get to the downtown area. The hotel had a strange emptiness to it, and it also seemed to be a bit dusty. It felt a bit depressing. If I went to Vitoria again, I would not object to staying at this hotel again, but I probably won't choose to go to Vitoria again.

We were staying for the Vitoria-gasteiz Ironman and the hotel were very accomodating for our needs. They allowed us to put bikes in our rooms and put on early breakfast on race day too.

The hotel was about a 40 minute walk from the main plaza in town and about 10 minute walk to the nearest tram stop. However the trams stop at 10.30pm which means you need to drive in the evenings.

Tranquility , service and cleaning. But above everything , I believe that it was the breakfast, the variety and the food on demand. Great

Everything was perfect. There was a noise from the heating system during the first night,but nothing serious. It was fixed immediately on the following day.

Luxury hotel, welcoming staff, large comfortable rooms and large ensuite, bar and restaurant on site

The shower screen set up allowed a lot of water to escape onto the floor. Meals we had for dinner weren't great. My friend and I ordered the lamb chops which were very fatty. No vegetables.

Hotel details showed a swimming pool which was the main reason I chose it but they wanted €27 per person for a timed access to it as it was a separate SPA and gym and not included with the room

Location is great with good access to Vitoria city centre. Staff was very friendly and helpful definitely will back once again in future. Specially big thank you for barman Victor and his team surprised us with amazing local drinks.

did not know how to turn off the heated mirror in the bathroom so it was very hot .
