Excellent location: walking distance to both the city centre and to Albaicin. Very comfortable room with climate control and comfy beds, huge shower. The rooftop with plunge pool and lounge chairs offers a very welcome refresher after a walk through the (hot) city. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast buffet. Would stay there again!

A pity the bar at the rooftop pool was not open. Hated the unneccessary and loud music during breakfast (please take note @ Catalonia hotel!) We missed the paid a fortune to park our car, because we parked in the wrong parking garage: this could be communicated better.

Staff very helpful and friendly Rooms were so very clean and spacious Roof top bar a bonus and staff there were really freindly and went out of their way tea and coffee faciltiy in room The bathroom was well euipped and the shower was great Location of hotel was great , near to a good bus route to centre and taking a taxi was so very cheap Parking just across the road from hotel at public parking , hotel offered a discounted rate Will stay here again , for sure

Even though tea and coffee facilites in room, they were not filled up every day, not a probelm to call reception but should be checked when rooms cleaned Great roof top bar but it closed at 19.00 (early september) it would have been nice for it to be open until sundown to enjoy a few drinks before heading out

We were given an upgrade to a suit on arrival which was excellent and the location of the hotel was pretty central for most things and were it wasn’t it was only a short taxi ride into the centre. Breakfast was outside the hotel as we like to try different food. The plunge pool on the roof was most welcome after a day of sightseeing.

There could have been more staff especially on the pool bar as long time to get served but when they realised this it became ok with our very friendly barman Miguel. Could not find any other faults with this hotel

Great facilities, including a small pool on the roof; reasonably priced, great location, super helpful and friendly staff who provided great recommendations for eating out. Rooms were well equipped, very comfortable and we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a junior suite… which was amazing! Highlight was definitely the incredible breakfast… great variety of delicious hot and cold options. I managed to leave some clothes and keys behind in the room and the hotel housekeeping staff were kind to put it to one side for me, which I was so grateful for.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a very warm welcome on arrival, unexpectedly the receptionist informed us they had upgraded us for no extra charge which made our stay even more special (thank you!) Our only regret was not booking for more than 2 nights! This hotel is really lovely, modern, very clean and has great facilities, spa, lovely bar area and gym. Its in a really good location and about 7min walk from the train station if you are using public transport. If you can afford to spend a little more, upgrade your room as it is so worth it, we was really impressed with the size and quality overall - We will definitely be back to stay here again :)

As a base for access to the north and south of the city it was great for us. 10 minute walk to the university campus and 15 minute walk to the center of the city - cathedral, main square, parks, shopping. It’s a 20 min taxi to the Alhambra. Very clean and quiet ambiance and felt safe at night. Helpful staff and room was good size with a lovely shower. Didn’t eat there but some good restaurants very close by and also easy to get into the Centre at night where there are hundreds of restaurants.

They don’t have twin rooms but our room included a good size single sofa bed. Small flight is stairs to our room from the lift on the 4th floor so not good if you have heavy luggage or need accessibility.

Location-15 mins walk to the centre, very near the train station and also near a lovely park; Some nice restaurants close by the hotel; about half an hour walk to the Alhambra. Professionalism and attentiveness of staff- I was immediately upgraded to a double room on my arrival (having booked a single) and they were very efficient to help me when I called reception after I was having problems with the safe in the room. The reception staff often greeted when walking past which was lovely. Reception recommended a tour company to me prior to my stay, which I subsequently used to book on to two free walking tours of Essential Granada, Albacin and Sacremonte, which were fabulous. My requests of a high floor and a quiet room were able to be met also; Rooms were extremely clean and everything functional and comfortable (I had a great nights sleep). Great pool area with ample sun loungers which was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sun; Lovely breakfast and professional, polite service. I had an early morning train on my last day and was given a picnic to take with me (as I was leaving before breakfast); Extremely good value for money. Most importantly, I felt safe in this hotel which is very important as a solo female traveller. I would stay here again.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t secure so as a security measure I think my phone disconnected after it was locked. Rooms don’t lock from the inside, it would be better if they did.

We loved our stay here! In recognition of our honeymoon, the hotel upgraded us to a suite - that was super nice and appreciated! The room was very spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel was great. The breakfast was good, and we particularly liked how large the breakfast room was.

The only thing I could possibly point to as an area of improvement is the fact that there was a fair amount of noise from the rooftop pool and area that we could hear in our room situated on the floor just under the rooftop. Fortunately, once the rooftop area closed for the night (around midnight if I recall), the noise ceased. But, for people sensitive to noise who want to sleep before midnight, this would almost certainly be problematic.

The double bed was amazing, literrally a single bed and not two beds. The room was just right, lighting, space and cleanliness. I always need a safe so that was good for my Camera and laptop Bathroom was great, a mixture to have a bath or shower. The extendable mirror also had a light which is a plus. The housekeeper was very welcoming, always with a smile. Breakfast service had a good selection for buffet, i love the pancake machine, i think most people missed it as it is in the corner. The rooftop view is amazing. location of the hotel is a 10 mins walk to most of the shops. In the room, I like that there was a comfy seat for me to chill out and read my book.

The swimming pool is less than 25 meters or 10 to be exact. Come to think of it its almost like a jacuzzi. The lift was a bit confusing or it could be me.

Excellent hotel. Enjoyed all the facilities especially the roof top pool and sun loungers after a busy day exploring the beautiful city. Hotel is lovely and clean, staff are very friendly and breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel chain. Recently stayed in The Hotel Catalonia Seville which was also excellent (room with a balcony facing the city). Will always look to see if they have a hotel in the area on the next trip we book.
