Breakfast was a really reasonable price. Sadly, no kettle in the room, as they understandably want guests to buy refreshments in the cafe/bar. Beds were perfectly acceptable, but not very luxurious - but not really complaining, everything OK for the price we paid. Lovely staff! Beautifully eclectic decoration. What a lovely place to stay.

I wish there was a kettle in the room! I nearly fired up (by the window) our camping stove - but it was too late and I was too tired.

I was out touring on a motorbike ,booked on the night and the room was ready when I arrived 30mins later. 24 hrs security at reception with access to CCTV cameras .secure parking . freshly cooked food for breakfast and great choice.and price

personally I would prefer a thicker Pillow. The Bar did close a little early for me But fair play to the staff I did managed to get a pint in.

Very convenient to N1 motorway just north of Madrid and within sight of the mountains. Attached bar and restaurant full of buzz; clearly well regarded by locals. The hotel - which is quite old - is full of period furnishings and interesting curios. Ample parking.

It's quite an old hotel - and so the rooms are small and not the most modern. But everything worked and the beds were comfy. There is a large bar/restaurant opposite which can be very noisy at kicking out time!

Easy to find just off the main road from Santander going south and return. Quiet location. Good cafeteria and restaurant for evening meals. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value. We expect to stay there again. The restaurant is a living museum, too many items to mention here, but well worth a visit just for that.

Room was fine as always. A special to the Restuarant, which provides good decent food at a most agreeable price; after all there is good reason why it is frequented by Lorry Drivers. We always use this as our overnight stop-over during our long drive down from North Spain to the South.

I have nothing to request for improvement as after all it already meets our needs and has been doing so for over 5 years.

spotlessly clean, friendly staff. we loved the quaintness of the place with its collections of antique sewing machines, telephones, bicycles etc. Minutes off the motorway and so easy to find. Food basic but well cooked and presented. we stayed there as a night stop on our way through Spain and would do so again.

Stayed here twice, first time on the way up to Bilbao and again on my way south a week or so later. Very conveniently located just off the highway and as a motorcycle traveller arriving in very wet weather the covered parking was great. The covered parking was a real bonus allowing me to unpack the luggage and secure the bike without getting any wetter. The hotel is quite traditionally furnished with some quirky touches that are interesting. The bar is obviously a meeting place for local people to enjoy a coffee, drink or something to eat.

Nothing, it was exactly what I needed to make my travel more comfortable.

I booked a 3 bed room. We arrived an hour early to book in and were given a double bed room. It was very nice but would have preferred what I'd actually booked as the dog slept on our double bed and WE had little sleep! However, it was because we arrived early that we were given a room that had been cleaned!

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Lovely traditional Spanish Motel just off the main road North of Madrid. Covered parking is available which is not always the case and especially appreciated as I was travelling by motorcycle. Nice quite rooms despite being close to the motorway. Lovely views of the surrounding hills. It has both restaurant and bar/cafe where breakfast is served. Busy with locals so always a good sign. Plenty of outdoor seating and dining options. Really enjoyed my stay and will stay again. Very nice large lounge with pool table. Good value.

Would be nice to have an option which included breakfast but no big deal.

Great location for stopping on the car journey from Santander to Fuengirola. Near the motorway. Good food and comfy beds. I have stayed here many times now and it never disappoints.
