Apartment in the Centre

Communication with the host was excellent! Apartment was clean and comfortable. Access to apartment and door codes were easy. Apartment and area was safe and we felt comfortable. Apartment is super close to metro (one block), grocery store (less than one block) and lots of great restaurants (literally around the corner and all within walking distance). Area was super active with people walking all day/night. We could leave the terrace doors open if we wanted to hear the activity, or close them if we wanted quiet. Bedroom was in the back of the apartment, so we were never disturbed by any noise. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the area!

If I had to sum up the furnishings, I would say 'Adequate'. No love or care shown. The pictures in the listing show the apartment with 4 terraces. There were only two. But no problem because it meant the bedroom was in the back of the apartment, not on the street side (a plus). The kitchen was sparsely furnished with 2 forks, 2 spoons, 2 knives. Really not a problem, because we ate out every meal. But still had a 'sparse, just enough' feel. Four towels for the 2 of us and no facecloths. All in all, a nice place. Nothing fancy. But a great area of town.

We had a spacious 2-bedroom apartment. A lot of light. Great location, a bit aside from the main crowdy walking routes. Close to the Center but much quieter. Easy check in and check out. Option for luggage storage if needed. Three supermarkets nearby. There is a lift in the building. A bit noisy in one bedroom in the morning - traffic and streets cleaning. Clean and well equipped apartment. Staff is very friendly and promptly replies to all inquiries. Very helpful.

Located in lively central Madrid, close to restaurants and bars. Apartment is well furnished, full of amenities, and perfect for short and long term stay. The attic even has a beautiful rooftop patio.

Pleasant neighbourhood close to the centre but with a life of its own - Madrid museum and Romanticism museum; excellent market, tube nearby, lively restaurants. Recommend a visit to the Madrid Museum which offers a good introduction to the capital.

Checking in at a different address was awkward - I arrived tired after a long trip with luggage. I don’t like access using codes … and sure enough the main door, which was a little sticky refused to open on one occasion, luckily for us we were not returning late and the matter was swiftly resolved by ringing the office which is open until 10.00 p.m. (friendly and efficient). What if it had been the following night when we returned late from a flamenco evening? Supply of toilet paper could have been more generous!

Brilliant location! Apartment is very clean and tidy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the city. Lovely to have the doors open to the street to let the light and air in - and the bedroom is at the interior so no noise at night. Easy access using codes so no need to collect or remember keys, all sent via WhatsApp so nice easy check in. Would definitely stay again.

For us, there was nothing not to the like - the property is exactly what we were looking for

Received a text with very explicit instructions on what codes were for which door. All very clear. The apartment was very clean and had everything in that we could want. The location was excellent, close to shops and restaurants, and the Metro, which was useful and easy to use. We were allowed to save our bags on the last day at the office so we didn’t have to lug them around Madrid, which was especially useful and we were very grateful for that. Excellent service from the flat organisers and a really good place to stay. Would recommend

It all worked well. Nothing to criticise

Beautiful large apartment with a lovely balcony 5 minutes walk from 2 metro stations and very close to shops and restaurants. 30 minutes walk from the Prada Museum and botanic gardens so very easy to explore and catch bus tours. It was a lovely place to stay.

3 codes to enter the building. The first 2 doors were easy to open. The apartment door was a bit tricky. You press any number to light up the key pad, put in the code , press the key symbol and then quickly turn the handle to the left to open the door. There were several messages about transfers from the airport or train station and one would have been enough.

Very large living room with good light. Very clean bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen, although we didn't use it. The location is also particularly good and very convenient for travelling

I didn't realise at first that the place to get the key was on the opposite wall of the room, and it took a while to find it, but it wasn't a big problem. The door to the room needs to be pulled out a little when opening, otherwise the lock could not be opened, this may need to be noted, we opened the door for a long time one day before it opened, after realising this later it was easy to open

Facilities, location just 3 mins from metro and cafe and grocery stores very near, customer service, elevator to reach the property, security system at each entry point, all required equipment for a short stay with family, sufficient cutlery to cook, air conditioner in each room….etc

Lack of dryer for your clothes, not sufficient cleaning products in kitchen, cannot store the luggage for few hours after checkout(can ofcourse store at their reception area which is 10 mins walk but is extremely inconvenient if you have kids, heavy suitcases and stroller etc), option of late checkout or checkin, small shower cabin. My apartment heating system had a malfunction but quickly fixed by the service department the next day. Free cleaning service for more than 2 days of stay would have been appreciated. They had paid service otherwise.

Our family of 3 enjoyed the apartment very much mainly due to its location which is in a very vibrant part of the city, close to lots of shops and restaurants but on a quiet road. A clean appartment with a very good quality mattress, bed linen and towels. All basic necessities were available in the kitchen. Electronic key very convenient for our family of 3 as it allowed flexibility of access.

The appartment on the 1st floor is a bit dark in the morning. Some of the furniture is a bit dated but otherwise fully functional.
